The boss fight at 1:51 is a recreation of the Nosk boss fight from the popular Metroidvania ''Hollow Knight'' . I'm sure you have heard of it but if not, I recommend checking it out!

1:42 the percentage is offset because percentage is now based on how long the verifier took on the attempt he beat it instead of the calculated length of the level like in 2.1. So he probably put some sort of secret way or faster way to make the verification faster than a normal run, resulting in 100% being reached "early"
Or you can make system with broken end trigger
yeah i've seen it in other levels (usually older levels)
another possible way is that they beat the level, continued on building, and then used verify hack to upload

On the 100% level: the progress bar is based on how fast the creator verified it. if there is speed portals that vary from different players, than this can happen, although it is almost always a secret route to verify it.

1:40 the percentage didnt get changed, its a bug that can happen by: copying a level, extending it a bit, and playing it, using fps bypass on megahack v8, or a glitch that sometimes happens

Just place an end trigger at the beginning of your level and make it inaccessible

I feel like the "dying on 100%" thing is just the creator using a secret way. If the level's verification time is shorter than it's intended time, then there's usually a secret End trigger on the area where the level already reaches the "100%".
That 100% bug has been like that since the beginning of 2.2, all you have to do is basically beat the level first and extend the level and the game some reason doesnt change the percent distance after that change for some reason, idk why the update now change that when in 2.1 it would just have it normally increase the length of percentage but now its changed some reason, and the only way that I know to fix it is copy the entire level BLOCKS OR TRIGGERS, and then make a whole new level and paste those blocks and triggers into that new level, some reason just copying the level with what you put already doesnt fix the bug.
