Jessica, I have a utility sink and I got a crock with 3 gallon jug that I fill up with water, it sits on top of cinder blocks with wood on top equal to sink.i have a 5 gallon bucket underneath to collect water. This resolved my problem of no running water. In the winter I fill up a gallon jug of hot water filling up the big jug. No freezing hands!
I'm so, so happy to have found your channel! I've been doing ceramic in my younger days, and now I'm starting up again. Today, actually, I'm waiting for my first glaze firing in about 20 years!! How about that!! And I'm very anxious to tell the truth! I'm expecting everything being just a big melted lump at the bottom of my kiln! Brrr.... But, back to you and your teaching, you are just a blessing to me! I'm learning and refreshing a lot and you are such a nice and friendly woman. I'll just say! Thank you!
I just received my package from GR Pottery yesterday. I purchased oval, round, and square forms. My oval form is 13x17x1. I can't wait to make a platter!
I just have to say, I am sooo happy for you all that you got this house!! I felt so sad when it didn’t go through the first time. You have so much room for all of you to have tour own space to do what you love. I’m so so happy for you!!! Your background totally reminds me of winter wood glaze!!
Footings are on large platters to prevent heating the surface of fine dining tables. If you leave them off, you definitely need a trivet under the platter when serving hot foods.

I like the GR pottery forms. As for the packing, it is secure, just not a fan of styrofoam.
Very nice
If you want to make your own foot maker make sure to get the really big corn cob holders. The small ones do NOT work.
Pls show me which material we usually use for a clay making tablecloth (not sticking)
Oh...where can I buy those oval shapes?? Haven't seen them here in Sweden! 🤔
Jessica, where did you get your signature stamp?
