I bought the same LP top you are wearing. I love it too and get many compliments. You are an inspiration. I have a friend who loves your channel too and we discuss your videos. She has bought many of the LP pieces you wear. She tells me, "it's your fault Buffy, you told me about Nancy and I love everything she wears.". So funny, but she looks wonderful!
Great points Nancy. I love the print and style of your blouse but I agree with many other comments that it makes you look heavier. One of your points was dressing for your body type. A v-neck in this same blouse would look so much more flattering on you.
I love you UA-cam channel. I just wish you would stand back so I could see what you're wearing with that pretty top. You always show just from your waist up So we can see what shoes you have on with the skirt or pants or capris that you are wearing.😊 Thank you
Yes these are such good tips and I completely agree that if you can find a clothing line or store that works for you, stick with it. I order many pieces from Splendid and have had great luck. They're comfortable and current but not too trendy. I love brights on you but I must say I'm a neutral, darker color person most of the year but it could be because I live in the midwest and it just seems to fit the climate. Black is my happy color:)!
I am from central Pa (Pennsylvania Dutch Country) and as kids, we were told to stop ruching around (fidgeting) You are the only person I have heard use that term and I knew exactly what you meant - Thanks for the memory.
LOL - Guess what...I grew up in Eastern PA! Many of my friends and neighbors were PA Dutch so I guess I've picked up a few of the words and phrases! Now...If you know what "make out the light" means, we're soul sisters! 🥰
I love the is video. I am 53 and I found outfits and styles that are working with my body shape. Thanks to your one video. I am feeling more confident and very comfortable.
Agree on the stylish and comfortable look! I no longer own any items that are not comfortable. I also never look frumpy. Frumpy is not equal to comfortable! I wear dresses and skirts to church and comfy casual most everywhere else. Also like you said--a good supportive bra that’s well fitting is so important and worth the investment. Mine last for years and years bc I never machine dry them.
I agree that we should wear what we love however do we not want to look our best/thinner? That top is not really flattering on you as it makes you look larger than you really are.
Same on wearing black. I used to love black and cannot wear it now, EVER! I've always loved color but would get black for formal or dressy events. Now, even for a funeral I have some sort of color on, even if it's black slacks and a gray sweater, there's a pretty colored blouse with it.
I get where you're coming from! Sometimes, certain colors just don't resonate with us as they once did. It's fantastic that you're leaning into your love for color, even in more formal situations. Combining black with a splash of your favorite color sounds like a stylish and unique touch. Cheers 🥂 to dressing in ways that make you feel vibrant and happy! 🌈👚
I love your blouse and earrings! Love your tips too. It never looks good when women our age try to dress like teenagers. We can add some trendy items to stay up to date without trying to look like a 16 year old lol!
You look gorgeous with that blouse I’ll like to find something similar if not the same but omg that color is beautiful and on your skin color you look beautiful. I’m 53 yrs old. I do in fact like to look younger but comfortable. Thanks for all your tips keep up the good work ❤.

Hi Rebecca, you will absolutely LOVE my latest capsule wardrobe - It's almost entirely black and gray. 🖤 Enjoy: ua-cam.com/video/HEr0CyfibSc/v-deo.htmlsi=5Dqr5Ui2EjxD2i4a
I totally agree that if you choose colour and pattern, it shouldn't wrap you from head to toe. I also would, for example, go for a pair of white trousers with your very spring like top. Or.. perhaps.... a very very pale pink pair of trousers...? By the way I like your top, it has something very fresh about it. The story you told us about your former habit of wearing black all the time could have been told by me. I also own too many black garments. My plan is to wear them from now on always combined with something light... I bought a black pant suit last year and now swore to myself never to wear it without a colourful scarf. Thanks for your helpful videos presented in a charming way! Greetings from Germany
I wear a lot of black - not only is it versatile and slimming, but I’m also a musician so I need black in my wardrobe. However, color is important - energizing AND fun!
What if you need support in your footbed? I'm finding it harder and harder to find classic (not old lady-ish) flats or sandals with footbed support. With open sandals, it's harder to find ones that have a sole that is not just made of rubber (too flexible .. no support in sole).. There are brands that have comfortable shoes but they only make them in weird or ugly colors that are not neutral. I just don't get the designers and manufacturers of these more comfortable shoes. Someone could make so much money if they would provide us shoes with support... I'd pay more for good quality, neutral colors and cuteness!!
I have plenty of uncomfortable bras. They start out okay. But by the end of the day I feel very restricted. I wear a lot of color. I have a few black shirts. But when it gets hot here I don’t wear them. I have bought plenty of t shirts from a new gas station that opened here. Some are really soft and comfy. A few have stitching around the neck and they are bothering me. I think I own at least six or seven of them. I go for comfort all the time. I have also learned that as I’ve aged. I only wear a few pairs of shoes. And that’s from abusing my feet when I was younger. I have bought a bunch of dresses for my granddaughter’s graduation. Now I find out it’s outside at a football stadium. And it may rain. So I have no idea what I am wearing for sure. I’m just hoping the mosquitoes aren’t out to eat me alive while I’m there. For some reason they love me.
I suppose that your blouse is handmade. Gorgeous fabric. I decided to sew my own clothing after menopause and actual bad fashion. I prefer less pieces beyond quality of fabrics.
I have heard for decades (yes I'm as old as dirt😂) that we should get "professionally" measured for the correct bra size!! Yet I get a different size quote from every retailer🤯😓 Every bra I've ever purchased is in a different size☹️ Idk....what to do?! Never order online cuz I'd be guessing and surely it wouldn't fit and need to be returned🤷 Any advice? Anyone,??? 🥰
I agree, the "professionals" don't know what they are doing. I got measured and the bra was so tight around that I felt I was being cut in half all day and had indents for hours after taking it off. I measure myself and then try on but I really think none are comfortable by the end of the day.
@@kb1236 Thank you kindly for the reply‼️ I honestly felt the creator of this account should've also!! So, I'm now on a weight loss journey and ordered a set of bra extenders, hopefully one or both of these will help. Seems most of us hate wearing a bra these days🤷😀
This top is so unflattering for her. Not only the loud neon print but the big voluminous sleeves are making her look so much bigger than she really is. You can see that as soon as she puts her arms up. You should also have a lower neckline when you have big boobs. In fact the rule is the flatter the chest the higher the neckline you can wear. And losing shoulder definition when you are already a bit soft just makes it worse. Look for clothes with good tailoring and shape built into them, not puffy blouses that turn you into a marshmallow pillow.
I don't think the top you have on in this show is flattering to you. It makes you look heavier than you are. Busy print is not good either. Surprised you would wear this top as you are a fashion guru. 😊😊
I LOVE your blouse, the softly colored print and on trend puffy sleeves are sooo pretty on you! Wear what you love that makes you feel great. You need to stick with a solid color or smaller print. If you love that color fine, but that large print just is not flattering

Old Navy.
