she makes the exact style of tattoos that i've always wanted. absolute art
I’m from Japan.
I had multiple tattoos from her back when I visited South Korea.
But, I had them hidden as soon as I went back to Japan, because it’s considered “shameful.”
I wish I could show them to the world, but I can’t..
Aw that sucks, but it’s absolutely wonderful to have such pretty tattoos from her I’m sure!
Make an Instagram and hide your face? Maybe?
Can I ask you how much she charge?
@@zinnia5659 20,000 krw for small pieces and up to 1,000,000 krw for bigger pieces. krw = korean won
Tattoos can be so gorgeous if the design is well drawn and if the tattoo artist does a good job inking it. Her tattoos are so gorgeous and that just made me want to get a tattoo even more
Whoever the producer is for Korea stories at Asian Boss, he or she deserves a credit. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to organize this really cool piece. I actually stopped watching Asian Boss for a while until recently. I came back because of the latest Korea stories. Really admirable topics over recent months and visuals are much better now that I can actually watch the whole thing. Definitely my favorite Asian Boss video. Kudos to whoever decided to cover this story, very important story that had to be told. Keep it up!
i hope that in the future she doesn't have to feel anxious anymore and continues with her amazing work while being free of worries
Interviewer: What are your negative experiences as a tattoo artist?
Zihwa: Men.
😂😭
I am tattoo-free but if I ever did have one done I would want the level of detail Zihwa can achieve. Doubt she will ever come to Toronto but anything is possible. She is very talented.
Same. I hope she does lotuses cause that's the only tattoo I could ever live with.
@@QuietlyCurious I think she will. She made her design based on people's request right? So if someone actually request for a lotus, maybe she'll make it :3 And lotus is really pretty, not gonna lie
@@silvianharyono2073 Sure is pretty and very meaningful!
And I doubt she charge cheap either

I've gotten three tattoos from female artists while in korea. The talent there is so incredible.
I've decided. I shall become fluent in Korean and get a tattoo from this talented woman. My life goal has finally been revealed.
The title should be “Being one of THE top worldwide tattoo artists originally from Korea” Zhiwa is a huge deal! 🤩😍👏💖✨
She is amazing. I just love her smiling eyes, her positive vibe and her dreams are just too amazing for this world. I hope for the best for her :3

Props to Asian Boss Host Sabrina for this interview. Your commitment to this story -beautiful🌼 Thank you for bringing light to Zihwa and her amazing talent, history, and point of view 💙
And when that Tattoo heals we want to see it!
UPDATE: the tattoo was crap so Sabrina had it removed
Thank you so much for giving her a platform to spread awareness. I learned a lot.
It is so depressing that women have to face sexual harassment all the time. She is also spreading awareness on that. I wish her the best.

it's so sad that such a wonderful woman like her still has to go through all these terrible things men do, but i'm so inspired by how strong she is and how she brings her message to the world no matter what. she's both strong and beautiful inside & outside!
Tattoo artists in korea are awesome, i like their aesthetics!
idk what it is but a girl with tattoos makes me feel a certain way...more especially since she’s doing it despite the conservative korean culture. she’s awesome 🖤🤍
wtf bro that's called a fetish, stop watching so much porn and get a gf
The interviewer is so good! And the artists brings so much calmness, I hope she becomes even more successful
I was thinking about tattooing a flower in my shoulder. Then I saw this, a sign I need to do this flower tattoo on my shoulder. Korea please wake up for your tattoo talents! ♥️
Her tattoos are so incredibly beautiful. I love how fine the lines are.
I’ve loved her work for years. I think she does the most beautiful tattoos I’ve ever seen. I got a tattoo from her shop but not from her though because she’s so popular and is always fully booked so fast
I adore everything about this interview. The host speaks Korean, is very respectful and is even willing to go under the needle to have a tattoo from the interviewee. I am totally following Zihwa from now on. She's one of the most badass women I've ever had the privilege of seeing and the fact that she has a shop in Australia makes me super excited to go and get tattooed from her someday!! What an amazing artist!
I love this documentary. I have gotten 2 tattoos while I was in Korea and will go there again to get more. The work really is some of the best I've seen in the world and so extremely detailed!
I saw her 3-4 years ago.Really loved the tattoos she drew and have been following her work ever since.

Tattoos: Korea doesn’t like that and it’s Taboo
Plastic Surgery: *Welcome come right on in....*
Surgery isint a taboo though, its very common.
@@sourwatermelon they're the same thing, people just dont like tattoos because they cant pull it off smh
There's totally different in the way they are used. Surgery is used to fit the mold and tattoo is done too be different (both reasons aren't alway the main reasons but they are the consequences of the acts)
She's so open minded that gives me peace about the future in korea's perception of tattoos
She is my favorite tattoo artist since about 5 years now ❤️ i want to get tattooed by her so bad!

It's a pretty lucrative business if you have the skills and clients that are willing to pay. Other than that, the overhead costs of rent and equipment can add up to a lot.
She's tattooed celebrities, ofc she's rich 😌
Got tattooed in her salon/shop two years ago ! All the artists who works with her are incredible !
did your tattoo stay? these are so beautiful but I heard online that tattoos with such dainty lines fade away ;-;
@@juneshao2141 it’s been 3 years almost now and it still looks clean and pretty ! The lines blurred just a bit but it’s normal, the ink diffuse slightly in the skin after some time. But i must say I’m really satisfied with the result. Of course I don’t know how it will look like in 10 years but if you take care of it I think it will age well. I think it also depends on the tattoo artist and his/her technique. If you are unsure of the tattoo artist you are going to see I suggest searching for « healed » pictures of their work if you can find some.

people suck so much omg why do we live in such a misogynistic society, i'm so sick of it. a tattoo shop with just female artists is not any reason to assume it's peddling illegal sex work. if they were all men, no one would think that. so sick.
Majesticool Muffin
If it was all men, MORE illegal activity would be associated with that store. So how is that "misogynistic" again?
misogynic society 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡I spotted an *imbecile here* ....blaming all men fault....feminist logic...because an individuals actions
@@yerri5567 lmfao did you read my argument? im assuming the illegal activity YOU'RE indicating is drugs and weapons. because the shop hires female artists, and the entire world sexualizes females to such an extent, it is misogynistic to claim they are selling sex. jesus yall really try to contort things
@@majesticoolmuffin7992 "lmfao did you read my argument?"
If I didnt read your comment how would I respond to you quoting your exact words??
"im assuming the illegal activity YOU'RE indicating is drugs and weapons"
Try extortion as well, which is a broad term that involves assault/harassment of all kinds to get what they want, whether it is financial, physical, threats to kins etc.
So how is that "misogynistic" again? Youre literally just cherry picking 1 form of crime and victimising your gender on it.
Also remember this, females are also the ones selling sex (even without the interference of men). Women also allow themselves to be sexualised.
You honestly think women attract men with just their brains and personality? Physical attraction plays a part. Anything that increases ones physical appeal in attracting the opposite sex is by definition "sexualising" oneself. Dont even pretend women dont play a role in that. So much for your "misogynistic" society.
