Sophie, thank you VERY MUCH for this video!!! You have no idea how happy I am to watch it. I wrote on your website couple months ago, asking you to make this video when you have time. So I truly appreciate it as I'm rebuilding my home and on the phase where I need to figure out the lighting sources througout the house. I will definitely follow your suggestion about the LED strip for the island counter. I LOVE your taste, I just finished looking through all the projects you did on your website. I used the ideas on decorating my new house. If you were in Vancouver, I would've hired you to do the interior design. Keep up the good work, you and your team!
Your lightening idea is top notch. Have never seen some one fo into so much details on this.
What an ingenious idea to raise the installation height of the wall outlets in a desk area. I never thought of that before and it has always bothered me soooo much to see ugly cords hanging down behind a desk. Wish I would have known that when we were building our house, I certainly would have implemented that idea. Excellent video!
It’s incredible how lighting can transform a space yet it’s not always the first thing you notice, more so the way it guides you around a room. As always I adore the projects you have shown in this video!! Thank you for all the tips I’m gathering all of them to pitch some ideas to my partner 🤣💗

Hi Sophie, Thank you for delivering ABSOLUTE GOLD re the cabinet lighting and positioning. We've just ordered COB Led and white coated aluminium channels for the built-ins. LOVE the idea of floating shelving. 😀 BTW I recommend ULTRA LED in Manchester for everyone living in Northwest England. They have a professional showroom and amazing technical support

Hi Sophie! Would you consider doing a video that covers storage? Your designs are all blissfully free of clutter, but aside from a clean-up and styling for photos or video, I'm sure you have to deal with actual storage needs for your clients so that everyday household messes aren't allowed to ruin the decluttered peacefulness. I refer to things like storage of stock for bathrooms, out-of-season bits and pieces, and even difficult-to-categorize miscellany! I know you plan in things like candle cupboards ;-) when you can, but for those of us limited to existing spaces, tips would be very welcome!

Thanks Sophie. Great content as always. Do you have any advice for getting light into a north facing room? And what cabinet paint colours would you recommend in this instance. I’ve a north facing kitchen which I’ve painted in white cabinets & zoffany half baked pearl but it’s still a dull room. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. 🙏

I've noticed that the small spotlights utilized throughout your projects provide a cosy and comfortable atmosphere, while also accentuating areas such as side tables, headboards, and coffee tables. I'm curious about their wattage, lumens, and temperature specifications?
