Judge is so correct. If the roles were reversed, would be a slam dunk but for a man to fear a woman people think it's funny. Personally I believe we need true equality when it comes to abuse and self defense

I think Mrs Peters is a pretty good liar. Just my opinion. Stumbling quite a bit about the “Henry” exchange. Lots of “umm”” and “so…” The eye contact. Something about those forced eye contacts - and then looking down and to the side. Sort of a typical response when not being completely forthright.

At first I thought he was wording questions poorly, but after a while it seemed he was wording them to intentionally trap the husband with double negatives and vague statements. Perhaps threatening someone's livelihood should be on par with a physical threat. They're threats intended to shake an employee's confidence in the facts of the situation and distract from the issue at hand. The employee's attention is now also running scenarios in their mind as to the potentially devastating, life-altering repercussions if they lose their job. It is a meaningful threat.

Without going to the merits of whether this particular mother is micromanaging or not, saying "my child," "my son," etc. isn't a red flag of anything, really. In fact, it's the _most_ common phrasing used, _especially_ in *intact* relationships. Using "our" when referring to children is actually an outgrowth of family court, believed to make a parent sound like a better co-parent to a judge, parenting evaluator, etc., and is something that has to be _taught,_ because the natural language choice is "my."
(You might use "our" when talking _to_ the other parent -- "Hey, Husband. Do you know where our son is?" -- but you'd naturally use "my" when talking to third parties -- "Hey, Susan! Have you seen my daughter around?")

Eh she’s pretty ridiculous and meek. I saw a case where a woman burned down the home with the father of her children in it and the attorney for the father was wanting a clear temporary custody order to ensure she couldn’t just waltz out of her facility she turned herself into (to avoid being arrested I’m sure), and that she can leave at any time and take the kids.
And the amount of bs allowed to go on was stupid. A psychopath shouldn’t be allowed custody. And this judge was too afraid to step on the order of another judge when that judge didn’t do anything with custody anyway.

If it were truly about keeping an eye on where he takes THEIR child, keeping a tracker in the baby bag would suffice. Although, I don’t agree with that either!! It’s his child too. If he was the one putting tracking devices in her vehicle or in anything that would be in her possession, this would be a very different conversation. There is no reason at all, to think that he would “kidnap” the baby. If he had previously threatened to do that or had tried to do that before, then her argument/actions would make sense. But there is absolutely no reason for her to want to track their child and the evidence (a tracking device in his car/in the baby seat) shows that it actually isn’t about the child.

hi..just stopping by real quick...I saw someone in the livechat ask what that thing covering the court reporter's mouth was...I looked it up, its called a Stenomask and "it allows voice transcription in noisy environments. Perhaps more importantly, a stenomask silences the user's voice so that it does not interfere with the surrounding environment such as a court or a classroom. The user can verbally identify the speaker, indicate gestures and unspoken answers, and describe activities as they take place." It can allow via speech transcription upwards of 185 words per minute w/ a minimum of 95% accuracy. Sounds really neat.

She makes it obvious she wants to make digs at him and is CLEARLY still very interested in what he’s doing. I just had to add this is one of the most blatant examples of women being able to get away with stalking and harassing behaviors, the defense attorney and even the GAL act like he just can’t actually be scared. Like if she knows where he is at all times she can have someone else do something to him Ms peters is playing a dangerous game and men have every right to stand their ground! I mean come tf on how many men end up dead and at the root it’s a custody or divorce and it’s never some woman that looks like her name is big Bertha it’s a woman that looks like Ms peters. Everything you said about this was spot on and (hopefully) would have made sense to some of the people who were jumping on you during the chat saying you were “one-sided”. The “sister-code” is VERY VERY strong and we often find women coming to defend women even when they’re not defendable; as clearly displayed here. If you’re using a logical mind, and not in your feelings, it’s EASY to see this lady stepped outside of normal societal boundaries, she just did. You don’t track people without their knowledge and permission, certainly not just because they have the child of theirs (theirs as in BOTH parents, this isn’t “her son”, it’s THEIR son).

As a guardian ad litem and family law attorney, I do find that sort of controlling behavior (air tags) very concerning. The husband's behavior as well, however, suggests that there was a lot of ego battling and power plays going on--it is basic courtesy to knock especislly more so when tensions are high. It's hard to know full history of these two based on what we have heard, (with a caveat that the wife comes across as non credible in her testimony), but it's clear each side has enough money to keep this going and to fight over this poor little child stuck in the middle.
