950 is a thing lol, I have a silverware set and it’s 950..95% pure silver and 5% copper! I’m not saying what you picked up was silver, I’m just saying 950 silver is a thing😃
I was just going to say the same thing. It's 95% pure silver and that item looked like silver.
I would have bought it. The heads in one of the bags 😂😂😂😂
Andrea by Sadek is good quality. I know the angel was not your style but I liked her
950 is 95% silver……
@@nancychannel8513she buys Sadek but that one was chipped
The studio ceramic bowl is decorated using slip. Slip is a water thinned clay with an added pigment. Today there are synthetic dyes, but before those, dyes were made from minerals. Blue is ground cobalt, dark brown is burnt umber, yellow brown is raw umber. White is made from kaolin. It looked like the design was incised and painted in with the slip when the pottery is at leather hard. A clear glaze was added after the bisque firing.
Wow, you are always such a wealth of knowledge. I appreciate you sharing it with all of us, too! 😊

I was a Fine Arts major in college with an emphasis on ceramics and graphite. Basically, that means that I can throw pots and draw.
The rest comes from watching and listening. Documentaries and period movies are great research sources. I buy and sell, but it is a lot easier to sell it if I know something about what I am selling.
❤❤❤❤
Would love to see Laurels reaction to the bongos! 😂
950 Silver contains 95% pure silver and is the highest grade of silver used for jewelry. This grade is used by Qinti Peru (Formerly Artisan Silver
An employee at my Goodwill told me that they look up everything. When it has value, they send it back to the region center. It goes to the goodwill online stores. I wondered why nothing of value could be found here at our stores. Once they gain more popularity online, finding anything will be far and in between. My donations will go to churches now.
Agree, my donations go to Hospice or Humane Society.
@floridavintagesellerakapatti The Salvation Army is wonderful, too.
The goodwill CEO in 2020 alone made 52,000,000 million dollars. I will never donate to goodwill. They dont help anyone but the CEO
Same here in Berkeley Springs, WV, Suzanne. My donations go to the local rescue mission. Especially good quality clothing. Rescue provides free shopping for fire victims.
You can say, "baggies" if you want to. Doesn't bother me. LOL
Hi Jocelyn, I know I’m not the only subscriber. Who love to see you make at least a short video. For us to see Laurel’s reaction when you give her the bongos. I wish you & your family a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Tramontina was founded in 1911 and are manufactured in Brazil, Le Creuset began in 1925 manufactured in France. So not a dupe, but similar. Tramontina is a good, solid company and cookware. I have a few. I can't afford Le Creuset, they are beautiful though.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Thank you for taking us with you today.
Hi Jocelyn, the Tramontina oval red Dutch oven is very nice ! It’s from Costco & even though it’s made in China, it’s excellent quality! I know, because I have an orange round Dutch Oven from Costco & it’s wonderful! I love your videos! Keep on thrifting!😊💕
Yes, that is a very good brand, and not inexpensive.
Need to see Laurel playing the drums!
"Marie Kull" on the Glass Paperweight sounded like "Miracle" :-)
You missed the Noah's Ark on the bottom shelf it looked to have the pieces looked it up about $98 bucks !!
woo woo Laurel got some new drums... I like it
The “950” piece was the handle to a silver plate covered vegetable dish. The handle is designed to screw off so that the lid can double as another serving bowl. 950 is probably the model or part number.
😮😮❤❤
You should learn your metal markings because it really does help when you find jewelry, flatware etc.
Buying bongo drums for a toddler is very brave.
😅😅😅😅😅
You're a grown up. You can say baggies if you want and nobody can stop you
You were so funny with that turtle giving you the hebee gibees!! Sp? You were on a roll today. Lots of goodies. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family!
I finally got lucky and the salvation army. Found Fenton blue opalescent, and 2 pieces of Holmegaard art glass.
We need to see Miss Laurel drumming!
Try looking out for Cousances, my most beautiful cast iron pieces are pre their takeover by La Creuset who continued using the name for a while.
Cousances was a brand of enameled cast iron manufactured in the town of Cousances-les-Forges. The Cousances foundry began making cast iron pans in 1553. Four centuries later, in 1957, the brand was acquired by Le Creuset.
My mom said Salivation Army for Salvation Army one time by mistake and now that's what we call it. Also I collect dolls and when we say a price for something instead of ten dollars we say ten doll hairs.☺ So you can say baggies all you want, I think it's sweet. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your lovely family Jocelyn.
Love the fact that your Goodwills have the assorted baggies! Such a fun part of the shopping fun. I have not found one here in NJ that has them. It's like a Hide and Seek for a hidden treasure. You have such a knack for finding the treasures. I love it.
Wishing you and your dear family a very Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🧡🦃 I am so grateful and thankful that you are here to bring happiness, fun and knowledge to myself and so many others. 💛🌻💐💛
My local Goodwill doesn't have those bags either. I had fun looking through them when I visited Phoenix recently.
For $3.49, I got one with 5 vintage eyewash cups, a Fenton Perfume bottle and a Caron perfume bottle from the 1930s. I am currently not selling any of them but I estimate they are valued at least $200 for the lot.😊
Baggies is a great word, love it❣️😉I am Dutch, what do I know.😂No,not kidding..I love the word baggies, please just keep saying it.👍🏼🫶🏼Are you going to show us if Laurel likes her new drums!🙏🏻😁🥁🪘
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving,Jocelyn..together with your lovely family..don’t eat too much!😄🦃🥧
My thoughts with saying baggies might be a copyright issue. Not sure.
I have a ceramic decorative sunflower bowl to list, I got it at my local goodwill for 3.99. When I am picking out items to Resale I am always thinking would Jocelyn pick this out?. I thought you definitely would for the sunflower bowl, it's not anything special but it's got weight to it and very colorful. Thanks Jocelyn for your knowledge and helping me know what and what not to pick up for resale. I think I might be able to get 20 to 25 for it.
The picture you found wiith the graves reminds me of Tangier Island in the Chesapeake. I took a trip there and saw the same kind of thing.
I thought the same thing. 11:58
Awww i wanna see Laurel play the drums
Hi Jocelyn❤ Thank you for taking us to goodwill, this video reminded me of some of the genuine treasures I’ve found in bags😁
950 silver is 95% silver and 5% alloy ,whoops now you know 😉 I have been collecting vintage mesh handbags and doing my research on them found out all the different marking for silver there are so many of the especially before the 1800's ❤
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the Family!!
The flat Coca Cola tray is from the 50s. My grandfather bottled Coke and we had many of those larger trays. Some had clips on the bottom to be used as the tops of TV trays.
Reunited and it feels so good…🎶
I am so jealous of the goodwill and thrift stores you are able to visit, my closest town has 3 total and I never find the cool stuff you do!
Mine don’t either and one of the Goodwill’s has outrageous prices…
SAME!!! Ours has junk mostly, i do find lots of good t-shirts, thats about it tho. I cant believe the difference in her stores and ours
Don’t be… I live in the same area and frequent the very same goodwills she does. They are very hit and miss. You could go to 5 in a row and barely find anything and next time score all kinds of things. It also depends on how much money I can spend. CLL probably has a larger wallet than I do. 🤣😂
Love going to the thrift stores with you!! You are very sweet!! You found some great things!! Love you and love your channel!! Much love!! 🥰❤️💙😊🌺💖💕💜🙏🙏🦋🦋🦋🦋
Happy thanksgiving. Love the their best friends. Of course they are.😅
You have a sweet little laugh. Guess that’s why I go thrifting with you. ❤❤
The things I don't want from a bag, I usually give back to the store.
Love the Elephant,Toucan, cat and birdhouse, the guy with the glitter ball in mouth🤗😘,art pottery bowl. No wonder I like you! I’m a Pepsi girl too!🤗
Don’t stop saying Baggies! Of course they are baggies 😊.
The item marked 950 was a handle that fits on the key/escutcheon of the top of a British covered silver serving dish. 950 is British for silverplate.
You are so much fun!
If the trays have their fold out legs that is something to look for. Not many left
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Any footage of Laurel playing her bongos?
That starburst candle holders is Rosenthal!
Your thrift has a wide selection of home decor/hard goods! Our local Goodwill is always super sparse. Miss finding those hidden gems in the thrift store
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
I love looking through the bags too and they always fall too and I'm like why can't I hang this up. 😂😂
That paper weight looks like it may be human ash. Have a friend that makes those, and it definitely looks the same. They are beautiful, but they are very specific. It's definitely one of a kind. It's sad that it ended up there. Love your videos.
Interesting. I love a mystery. There's an artist by the name of Marie Kull I found on line, who seemed to have worked with her husband. She wasn't a glass artist though....she and Roger Kull did southwestern paintings using leather as the canvas. Don't know if it is the same person, of course, and that's as far as I got.
950 silver is absolutely a thing. Although, I think your instincts were right about that particular item
Happy Thanksgiving to you and family
Love all your videos!! And I’m a Pepsi girl too!!
The decanter with ‘ground glass’ around the inside rim would have a ground glass stopper.
We do love hippos 🦛
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family, enjoy.🦃🦃🦃
I bought a Coca Cola tray just like that one in 1973 or 1974 in Santa Barbara, along with 3 others. They were a promotional. Buy Coke, get a tray for a dollar or so. If my memory serves me. Hahaha!
You need to keep calling them baggies because that’s what I’m used to and what I call them! I won’t know what to do if you change it!
Happy Thanksgiving enjoyed the shopping video ❤
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽️🦃 to you and your family and friends.
Thanks for all the great videos ... wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
I've seen English silver that is 950. It's a thing but I cannot say yours was. For a cheap price, i would buy it and test it if for nothing more than scrap.
Happy Thanksgiving, Jocelyn, Andrew and all of the family!
Those Littles as you know, really add up. Thanks Joselyn 😊
I had that Coke tray back in the '70's.
You probably had the original then, Jocelyn was right that those were reintroduce in the late 90s. The one she put back was original mcm.
@UserHunca I saw tons of those kinds of repro trays (of Coke and other classic name brand products that were originally issued in the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, etc) for sale by sellers at the Kentucky Flea Market extravaganzas back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Often they look very much like the authentic older ones.
Happy Thanksgiving Blessings
I liked the bird thing on cart.
I am a Pepsi snob also! Lol
You say BAGGIES if you want to say BAGGIES😅...i love BAGGIES😉👍I loved the Coco Cola tray,i would of bought the olded one what was with it too!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!🦃
I love your pinky ring
I want one
Thanks for sharing!!👍💕
Love your videos
HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🦃❤😊
THANK - YOU ENJOY SMILES :
There was a Dansk rhino at my closest GW. They had it priced at $49.99. I passed.
Hello, 950 is real silver with a high purity! Just for future reference.
Love the video ❤❤❤
Why aren't you supposed to say baggies? Those are totally baggies. Happy Thanksgiving!
'Cuz somebody complained about the word baggies🤦♀️
@@rikkemeek1506 That's ridiculous!
@@stacyt_1967 I know. There's alot of crazy and easily offended people in the comments sometimes🙈
Happy Thanksgiving 😊
HAPPY THANKSGIVING JOCELYN AND FAMILY🤗🫶
It's the headless tin man !!! Deborah 🇨🇦
Pepsi all the way
Toucan may be from Costa Rica. I had one just like that.
The chipping on the edge of that Jerusalem enamel plate almost looks like a continuation of the pattern!
I like the bags called baggies
The head for the Italian piece is probably in one of the baggies.
Oh! You’re probably right.
950 is 95% silver.
Yep. Argentium.
Yes. I was yelling at her to get it!!
I swear I learn something new on here every day!! I love it!!
Normally this is my favorite, I found myself getting anxiety your thinking aloud today! Too much coffee perhaps or Pepsi?
I have 3 Goodwill stores near me and all 3 combined don't have 1/4 of what you're looking at.
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm curious about the silver handle thing with the 950 on it. Did you happen to ask Andrew about it?
950 WOW THAT'S a thing!! A great thing!
Call the baggies whatever you want. It’s like Kleenex, half the time it’s not the name brand Kleenex just a different brand.
Was that elephant flipping us off?!?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When looking at the first Christmas bag, you sounded just like Kate. 😄
Aprox. 15:20
😂 I really thought you'd find a vase after saying the magic sentence "I'm not seeing anything exciting in the vases".
Right? It’s like saying abracadabra.
Happy Thanksgiving!! Love your channel! ❤👍❤
Loved the video ❤😊.
What site do you use to look up past items that have sold? Thank you love. I love watching you.
Have a tray train
I wish our goodwills had the baggies
