- Cartagena Spain is a city that sits in the Region of Murcia, on the Mediterranean coast. Typically a haven for sunshine and beaches, we got stuck in a strange and dangerous Sahara sand phenomenon. Of course, we tried to make the best of it, with tapas, drinks and exploring a 2,000 year old Roman theater.
Cartagena, Spain makes a perfect day trip from Murcia, as it is easily accessible with a 45 minute train ride. Although, you don't need to spend the night in Cartagena, there are some great tapas bars to hit up at night, when the city comes alive.

Who are we?
Well, we are a couple from worlds apart that has chosen Valencia, Spain to be our home base. Vicky is born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, now an American citizen. Josh is an American, well, born and raised in small town, Ohio.
We left our jobs, family and friends and moved to Valencia, Spain in the middle of the pandemic. We decided to that we should also start a UA-cam channel to show the world that, you can do anything (even if you are getting grey hair), if you think you can! The black sauce is the sepia’s own ink! Similar to squid but more common in Southern Spain.

Vermut slushy was good! Would have been better on a hot day! Everything was good! Black cuttle fish was tasty but wish it wasn't black as it was so difficult to eat lol. Josh is eating more salad now lol thanks for watching!

Due to the date of the video and the tone of the sky, it is not because it is from the coast, they are sandstorms that come from Africa, this year was one of the most "orange" but they usually occur in this city (coast or interior), this year occurred in much of Spain.
