Quest for the illusive Tamarack. Knight in shining armor, Marysol, accepting the quest with her wonder dog in the lead. Her quest fulfilled and she returns, riding her stead, with her wonder dog, Gunner. Great little tree. Perfect for a mini. Great save.
None of the radio stations come through where I went. I don't have the satellite radio anymore, we had to end it. Cost too much. There are a few bands I enjoy. Figured I wouldn't get in trouble for copyright.
To bad you could not take any of the reindeer moss and lichen for your own Penjing with some of the trees in the pit. Just a thought on that. I bet you get your Christmas tree from this pit. Birch were cool. Maybe the peat moss would make a nice cover for a forest setting for you. I know they sell the live peat moss for settings and for carnivore plantings in dishes. Just an idea. Gunner in the end looking for rascally rabbits. 48.40 into the video and that was an amazing scene. A great idea for you to make a penjing. Excellent part 1. Very relaxing.
Back. Just watched the Kentucky Derby. 3 horse photo finish. Mystic Dan the winner. Now to enjoy the rest of this fantastic road trip with driver Marysol in the lead.
Just a thought, Marysol. In your excursions and walks, have you ever found a stone for use in the art of Suiseki? You travel and work in the cool areas, I just thought you might have come across a really cool stone. Like a stone resembling a mountain with a stream running through it.
I'm always on the lookout Tom! I do have some here that might make nice ones. Most of our pits have riverstone. Smooth round stone. I might go look through where the sandstone is. But I have to get permission first. Different owner.
No, but one of the towns I went through has an old engine on display. I should have stopped to see it. Had I filmed the way home, you would have got a good view of it. Schreiber, Ontario, Canada. It's called the Schreiber Discovery Center and Railway Museum.
Beautiful scenery, very inspiring, as you said, that's the look I'm trying for in my bog forest!!!
Thanks Nigel! Yes. Your forest certainly is looking like it should too!
Awesome! So happy you got your tamarcks!
Omg what a score those little Trees are awesome!
Great find & no snow covering the ground
No snow is the best part!

ROAD TRIP! Captain Marysol at the wheel.
Beautiful country. Nice cloudy day. I like the Scotsman sitting in the backseat of the truck playing the bagpipes for you. Great drive.

I love watching horse jumping. But I haven't in many years.

Did the Big Boy ever make down your way?
