  • Scorpion Ravin Jacket and Pants Review www.revzilla.co...
Precise, clean, and absolutely no holding back. That is how the Scorpion Ravin Jacket has been designed, tested, and put to use on the track or the street. Built as the opposite half to the Scorpion Ravin Pants, this jacket is a totally stealthed out option for riders looking to make use of the highest technology, without being overly flashy. Designed with protection at a premium, this jacket draws upon Scorpion’s vast technological advancements and experience to bring a streamlined option to the market for 2015. Sas-Tec CE-approved armor at the shoulders, elbows, chest, and back comes included so that you hit the streets on the first day with a complete arsenal of protection lining the 1.2mm-1.4mm thick top-grain Monaco leather outer shell. All of that does not come at the expense of comfort (and a very high cool factor!), as the jacket also features localized perforation, accordion stretch panels, and a removable EverHEat insulated liner with KwikWik II moisture wicking panels.
Like a sky thief of the night, the Scorpion Ravin Pants are decisively on point, deft in their purpose, and unapologetic for their motives. Built to match the Ravin Jacket from Scorpion, these aggressive leather pants combine perforated and non-perforated 1.2mm-1.4mm top-grain Monaco leather to produce an outer shell that is both rugged and durable, but taht still allows for airflow on those warm days at the track or on the street. From the hard, anodized aluminum knee protectors that reside on the outer shell, to the Sas-Tec CE-Certified armor underneath (as well as at the hips), these pants are well-constructed, durable, and built to give riders the experience that they desire on the track or while aggressively riding the streets.

+Hormoz S Aziz Hi-Viz Brian also wears US42/EU52 in Alpinestars, and Brian is wearing size Large in the video, so I recommend size Large for you. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla

I came to check this out based on hearing from a podcast that Scorpion was doing cool stuff, and it's cool. Only problem is I see that "Made in Indonesia" tag, tons of small panels stitched together, and it's getting real close to the price of a Vanson or other American made, heirloom quality jacket.

What jacket would you recomend this or icon Moorhead 2? I will do rides in 50-80°f weather. Can I fit a hoodie under the jacket and when it's hot take it out and the jacket will not be baggy? Also can I fold the jackets hands over the body is it ok for leather, and same for pants bend the knees? Thx

I'm 5"10 with a 46" chest and 35" arms, all the reviews I have read suggest going a size up. It looks like I should go XL but a size up would be 2XL. Anyone else have a recommendation on which I should go with or similar experience?

I’m 5’6” with a 44 inch chest and I fit the XL. It’s runs extremely tight. If I were you I would pick up the 3XL unless you want it skin tight then go 2XL

Hi my question is. I'm 5'10and I weigh 170 athletic built. I'm not sure what size to go with.? I have a 42 inch chest but I feel that if I buy the large it might be too big looking at the video of the of the beard guy wearing the jacket. I have had Size 52 jackets and there was a little room but they fit okay a 50 was a little too tight when I had daninese what would you suggest the size in this jacket??

You're pretty similar to HVB in the video except he's 2 inches taller and 15 pounds heavier. His extra height about negates the extra weight, so I'd focus on the fact that you both have the same chest size. Therefore, I'd recommend size large. -DrewZilla

+Michael Tranter No, the aluminum inserts cannot be removed. Yes, that SAS-TEC is the armor used in the knees and elbows. -DrewZilla

Come on you have been doing this for how long. That jacket is too tight even for a sport fit it should not be bunching up.
, And don’t start with that needs to be broken in. He should go up one size.

Exactly. It needs to be somewhat loose walking around so when riding it's snug. Not too tight. Also, 195 my ass. I'm 6'1" 190 and I have a six pack. With a 44" chest. You mean to tell me one inch shorter and five pounds heavier means moobs and a beer belly?
