You'll find SOMETHING in this video you think is worth it! Some really simple upgrades to your trailer to make it a ton easier and more efficient to use.
My Big Tex 10 X 6 weights a little over 900 lbs. empty and has a 3,500lb axled with a GVWR ratting on 2.999 lbs. I pull it behind a 4,000 lb. 99 Cherokee. It tows very well, but I wanted to make it stop better, so I had electric brakes, and a breakaway battery installed. With an adjustable brake controller in the Jeep, I can precisely adjust the brakes for the load from empty to full. It definitely makes the combined 7,000 lb. weight of Jeep and trailer stop quicker and without any fear of being pushed sideways by the trailer in a panic stop on wet ground. It was probably around $400.00 to $500.00 professionally installed. Parts alone were around half the total price for a do it yourself. Added safety and peace of mind are both priceless.
i never get rid of the center jack i hate thos pos flip up jacks its ok on small trailers but i have a heavy built 14 ft tandem no thanks you van keep that walmart/harbor freight junk
