The Pond gets water! Installation of the Box Weld Pond Liner. Bottom Drain, Skimmer, Return.

This is part 11 of my Koi Pond build. In this video I show you step by step on how I prepare and install my box weld pond liner. The pond finally gets wet! See how I attached the pond liner to the viewing window, bottom drain, skimmer, and return.

Pond size 12"x8"x5" Approx. 3590 Gallons
Box-weld liner
Pond walls Earth and Railroad ties (sleepers).
Railroad ties 7"x9" 3 layers stacked to get an above ground height of 27 inches.
Dug down 33" and install a Koi Toilet 3" bottom drain.
Overall water depth will run about about 58 inches.
24"x48" glass viewing window.
Filter system #1 will be DIY Sieve into 3 55 gal barrel moving bed system.
Filter system #2 will be Pond Skimmer fed into a Bakki shower system.
Might try to incorporate some aquaponics in down the road.
