Koi Fry arrive from BlackWater Creek Koi Farms.

The Koi Fry have arrived. in this video I show you receiving my Koi Fry from Blackwater Creek Koi farms. I plan to keep 8-10 of our favorites and rehome the rest. I will raise them from now until Spring when they can be introduced into the main pond.

Pond size 12"x8"x5" Approx. 3590 Gallons
Box-weld liner
Pond walls Earth and Railroad ties (sleepers).
Railroad ties 7"x9" 3 layers stacked to get an above ground height of 27 inches.
Dug down 33" and install a Koi Toilet 3" bottom drain.
Overall water depth 58 inches.
24"x48" glass viewing window.
Filter system #1 DIY Sieve into 3 55 gal barrel moving bed system.
Filter system #2 Pond Skimmer fed into a Bakki shower system.
Might try to incorporate some aquaponics in down the road.
