Please please do not use fixed laptop chargers without supervising them charging, they now have a high chance of being a fire hazard. The light one is great and easy but laptop chargers are more complicated and if anything is not perfect they can cause your laptop battery or the adapter (brick part in the middle or end of the charging cord) to over heat without warning. Good tutorial, just want to stress safety.

I lost the cord to my "buzz buzz" a few months ago. I just found it, plugged it in, left the room an the cat chewed through it in three places. I'll try this and update if it worked or not!
Does this work for headphones, it may sound gross but I have a habit of chewing the wires of my headphones, I did it too much now I can't hear properly through them...
It will work for some headphones! I've tried it with very cheap head phones from the dollar tree which have very minimal wiring with no success. If the wires are thicker, the method works well! No harm in trying! If it doesn't work, I might recommend bluetooth earbuds! I love mine and they work pretty well! :)

If it is a power supply, use butt splices and a hand crimping tool. Make sure your connections wont slip and apply tape. 120v (power supply) can cause serious issues and harm so please be careful.
