I think they know about the controversy, they just don't care. I have a couple of Indonesian friends who've been playing games with me for about 3 years, they're just down to earth, and not easily get triggered. Besides, from common knowledge, Indonesian people are always so smiley and friendly. If you've been living in the US for years and move to Indonesia, you'll feel like you're in a weird creepy world where everybody's always smiling whenever they greet you.
Agreed. Furthermore, those who are in vtubers communities are usually pretty active on the internet. So it's very unlikely we Indonesians (who are active on the internet) never heard about the whole Hogwarts Legacy controversy.
This is totally out of topic, but the "creepy world" part reminded me of my uncle's funny story. He went to US (or a country in Europe, I forgot which) years ago to visit his friend, and somehow (I forgot the detail) got reported to the cops because ppl think he's a pedo. There's an awesome story that Hololive ID's own Kureji Ollie told about when her mother was a kid in school and her brother (Ollie's uncle) learned that Ollie's mom was being bullied in school.
