ATTENTION: What I'm trying to say in this whole thing is that by people abusing spoofing, certain aspects of the game are ruined for themselves and the people around them. I am absolutely aware that there are situations where people would be unable to play if they didn't spoof, and some of those situations are justified. It's just that it's hard to fix one issue without creating another, so they'd have to find some sort of happy medium. Apologies to anyone I might have offended with my current stand on spoofing. I just don't like constantly seeing the negative side of it hurting the game.
Exactly. That would be the only reason I'd spoof. There's not much in my area and my husband uses the car for work so I'm stuck. But it seems harder to spoof on Android from what I've seen on youtube
Vaporeon the lucario one 2344 no catching legendary in the wild wouldn’t be as fun as raiding. And also if you are a level 5 catching a legendary it won’t be as hype because the cp would be like 300. It’s a legendary it shouldn’t be something weak.
I'm not trying to call out Mystic7 here, but not everyone lives in a city with a crap ton of rare Pokémon. Half his videos are just him driving down to the pier, and catching every rare Pokémon you can think of. I do understand that you can teleport to any Pokémon at any time, but as long as your not taking down every gym, there shouldn't be a problem with spoofing, Pokémon go isn't a very competitive game either. It's not some multiplayer game with a leaderboard and ranks.

Pokémon GO is being spoofed for a reason. Most of the people who spoof is doing it cause: 1. Its easy AF, 2. You can catch pokémons even Reversal would dream of, 3. No need to get out of your house. BUT! There are some people like my cousin, that are not living in a place which has rare pokemon in it (the best pokemon he found there is Xatu) and he really want to be part of the "big guys", like c'mon, he opens youtube and all he sees is episodes says "Catching a wild Dragonite!" or "Leveling up to level 40!" and when he clicks the video, all he sees is a 23 year old guy living on New york of los angeles and other places who has INCREDIBLE Pokemons, talking about IVs and how he is ready to evolve something really rare he found yesterday, while my young cousin who indeed grew up on Pokemon, is catching a pidgey and need to get permission from his mom to drive to the other side of his town to spin a pokestop. I know spoofing is gross but aslong as you are old enough for having a car, and as long as you live in a places like Santa Monica, STFU AND STOP SAYING SPOOFERS ARE ALL GROSS BECAUSE MY YOUNG COUSIN IS NOT GONNA FLY TO ANOTHER CONTINENT TO CATCH A CORSOLA, AND NOT EVERYONE HAS THE ABILITY TO BE "LEGIT" AND CATCH A SNORLAX EVERYDAY. You can call me whatever you want but if niantic wants to get rid of spoofing, she has to increase rare spawns, and make more gyms and pokéstops even on small towns, many people grewup on pokemon and everyone should be equally deserve to have the tools and the abilities to play the game like people in Santa Monica and Long Beach do.

Preach! I can hear your frustration. I live in a city where the nearest pokestop or gym is across the highway; I'm on the east coast, I'm talking actual seagulls and sand etc. Nothing here. So many of us aren't fortunate enough to be surrounded by stops and gyms and quite frankly, it pisses me off because it affects so many people here, and even after the update, we STILL see people with obvious multiple accounts talking over gyms and they're not even bothering to hide that fact. Plus- since you (I'm talking to Mystic from here on) can't understand the frustration we rural people endure- may I suggest you actually walk a mile in our moccasins! For real. Challenge for you: prove you're a stand-up guy and don't play for a month. Check back with me how you Feel after no Pokemon Go for a month then. I bet you'd understand the rural issue if you couldn't play if so easily... Oh, disclaimer here- I'm not referring to people with multiple accounts, those are valid points you're making. I agree that Niantic isn't doing as much as they should (using Twitter etc) to get rid of the problems like that Fusutl dude. Maybe it's time Niantic invests in whatever manpower that's needed in cleaning up the cheaters in the game... It needs rehauling asap. Here's an idea to help the kids in the hospital: design some sort of hotspot type thing with a password, idk. For those legit handicapped like myself, why not be allowed to register to use your handicap car tag registration for example- to get a spoof license? Thanks for your hard work making these videos. DWD Wizard I whole heartedly agree, I know people who are bed bound, it's a big deal getting him out of care for 1 day a week, he loves the game but cos he can't walk or leave home on his own he has to spoof, he is still doing all the other work like hunting catching etc he just can't leave home to do it, and anyway it's not like he is using the bot hacking apps for computer that catch every Pokemon and hunts rares etc, this video is basically discrimination against a lot of people who don't have the luxury of say leaving home to do all sorts of things as I already gave an example of
well mystic 7 you live in santa Monica and have all the Pokemon at your fingertips, also you have a lot of money so you can afford to go abroad and catch regional Pokemon. where as the majority of us live in areas with no Pokemon spawns apart from pidgeys, no pokestops so we constantly run out of poke balls, and we can't afford to go and travel to get regional. why should us people be left out when city people get everything

Alan Tegethoff and how do you ever plan on completing the game ( I mean regionals ) because I'm guessing like the majority of us you can't afford to travel the world for a game. why is it fair people with lots of money can complete the regionals, but people like myself who have families and not a lot of money can never get them. regionals were a ridiculous idea.
also just wait until legendaries come out people. all of us who don't live in major cities around the world will again get left out. once again people who live in rural areas will be left out, and either have to spend silly money getting to major cities or just have an incomplete pokedex. niantic didn't think their game out properly.
Hey Mystic7! I like your videos about pokemon go: Great style, great music and great pictures! Now up to todays topic: Well, not everyone has the opportunity to hang out at great locations like santa monica or central park. In my city in Germany you'll get 99% crap like rattata, goldeen, staryu etc from lures. Good for collecting candies for the lucky egg sessions, but crappy for good evolutions. And not everyone has the time to play pokemon go all day long hoping to run into a wild dragonite or something like that. And now consider if you live in a rural area with none or only a few pokestopps and gyms and shitty spawns. I've read on silphroad and other forums many complaints especially from your countrymen that they only once or never cought a wild dratini. So I don't wonder that spoofing became so attractive due to the quite unfair biome-classifications, even if they make kinda sense (water, desert and so on). It became very clear during the valentines event: Some people drowned in Porygon- or chansey-candies, some people didn't even find a single of those mons. And also the eggs are not fair: I'm above level 35 now, and I hatched my first snorlaxes (cought a few wild ones before) from eggs during the valentines event, playing the game since the official german release last July! Until now, I've never hatched a single Lapras from about 800 eggs, even though they regulary spawn in my city. Everyone should have the same chance to play pokemon go in a enjoyable way no matter where he/she lives! If Niantic would give up the "you have to travel"-strategy, which obviously doesn't work for a great part of the players and increase spawn rates of the rare mons instead spoofing will get pointless I suppose. Last but not least: An absolutely no-go in my opinion are farming and fighting bots which you just have to setup and they'll do all actions automatically. As I suppose, fighting bots are able to take town high level gyms way more effective and faster than real (=human) players. Hope you'll find my comment in between another of thousands. I am in that lvl 30 and never even seen a Dratini camp. By looking at these comments and seeing how lengthy most of them are Ill just go ahead and throw this out there - hes not gonna read half of them. But I read yours, and you made some very good points and hopefully be me liking and adding a comment to this it will bump it up and who knows maybe he will read it and see the argument from the other side. In the meantime, now that I know how easy it is to spoof thanks to him I might make a spare account real quick and catch all the mons Ill never get the opportunity to playing casually. Don't play if you can't get outside. It is as simple as that. Understood that not everyone wants to travel across the world to get region exclusives and not everyone has everyone has the luxury of living near Santa Monica, I know plenty of genuine rural players who grind enough to complete their pokedex. Obviously they are making slow progress but it doesn't mean they should spoof to high density spawns. And tell me, who is playing more fairly? - A guy who races across 5 kilometres at 3 am to take down a level 10 gym or the one who takes the gym back just 5 minutes after legit player returns home?
Helispotter I think they should add a game mode with a joystick, but you can't go in gyms and there's like a mark that says it's the different game mode so you can't say it's ur real account

1: what if a 7 year old wanted to play the game, their parents can’t drive them around, so they can’t play the game. 2: what if someone is injured and can’t go and find things all around the city. 3: what if you live somewhere with NOTHING and you don’t want to play because you can only get 4 different types of Pokémon This is why people spoof so they can still enjoy the game, it’s a game so it doesn’t matter, they only things spoofers do that affect you is gyms and now in raids, spoofers help you with there Pokémon so it’s alctially a good thing spoofing is around.

Summer is coming in Florida and I'm not going to be walking around in 92 degree weather with 80%+ humidity and huge thunderstorms everyday. I hope they get rid of this speed limit because it is annoying and I can't go outside because of school all day and a lot of homework. The bus is the only time I can play and I can't even play. Now I have to be careful and not let my phone overheat in the hot weather.

I need explanations on something, how is using a third party tracker any different then spoofing? You're still using cheats in order the get the same end result. Although I really enjoy your content your argument contradicts itself. I dont spoof or use a tracker because Its the thrill of the hunt for me, nothing feels better then finding something rare on my own.
Jacob Cecchin i play the same as you (i used to use a tracker when b4 they added sightings) but its nowhere the same 3rd party tracks still allow you to play the game. spoofing is staying inside
The difference as I see it is that a tracker does not directly affect other players, whereas spoofing, specifically to control gyms, does. I've stood next to a gym outside my house (lucky me), and watched it get taken down with no one around (my family of 5 all play, so we were all in there), and then have 2 Tauros put in (I'm in the UK). My kids were really upset, as they had put the effort in to train it up. Also tracking still only allows you to catch what you can physically get to, whereas spoofing allows you unlimited access to the entire Earths surface! But I respect the point of view that it is also cheating, I just think the consequences for spoofing are far more significant.

Niantic could just create the same pokemon go app allowing spoofing, and ban the spoofing on the original app, so spoofers would have their own pokemon go world and all of us would be happy.What do u think how many players would jump from the original one to the spoof edition?
I was thinking about like a separate server for them. Like in MMORPGs there are separate servers, and you can't see players from other servers in your game. But basically that's the same thing.

Spoofing isn't that big a deal any more with the current gym system. So i don't think people should care because it can't effect you much any more you can defend gyms from home now and taking them out is easy too so there is no real reason to complain about it any more if you still do complain then you need to find something better to do with your time Also removing the tutorials won't do anything because more will just pop up
Dude i really can't believe that spoofers not only show up on the comments, but like begging for mercy or for an understanding. Here is the story in my country which is a little rural but not in a disgusting level. It has a decent amount of pokestops and gyms for the size of our country. BUT. Even though they are all accessible and just fine when it comes to weather and everything, I am trying all day long fighting gyms that are like 10 lvl with maxed out tyranitars and rare stuff and regionals and in seconds they are build up again. I am grinding but spoofers in my area not only taking the gyms which is hella unfair but in this way they slow me down and they make their levels raining. I mean i am almost level 33 and i was way ahead of them but now we are all around same levels. Well done #MYSTIC7. Well fking said dude! I was waiting for someone to do that. Well go outside I live in a place with barley any poke stops but I just deal with it and if I want to play I go to a place that has a lot of poke stops even if it’s 30 minutes to an hour away if you want to stay at home and play a game don’t play this one
Jack Fountain there are people that are disabled cant go outside and there are people that have an allergy to pollen not everyone can go outside where I live the closest gym is 1 hour away and closest pokestop is 3 hours away

I agree with you mystic it's BS they are shutting down trackers yet not getting rid of the spoofers who can sit in thier pj's on a cold snowy day and take down a gym. What the hell? I mean there's no justice. So what there's a huge number of spoofes the game eventually will lose popularity if spoofers continue to run rampit. Well they do prevent it somewhat, because if you're over 1500km away from a place, you can't catch any pokémon, it wobbles 2x and then the pokémon breaks free and runs

I try so hard to beat a gym like so this is the story, the gym was level 10 valor gym then I brought it down to level 5 then 5 minutes later it was back to level 10 like wtf... With the current gym system, spoofers don’t hurt the game , and when it comes to raids spoofing actually helps the game. There has been several legendary raids that me and others would not have won if there wasn’t spoofers there. Because we only had 3 people and 5 spoofers was in the lobby.
I find it ironic that Two of FSUATLs videos showed up under this video, Because everyone knows you can find mega Pokémon in the wild, as if Fricking mega Pokémon are even in the game,
The reason most people spoof (at least every single person I know who does it) is because they don't have a data plan on their phone so they simply have to do this unless they sit at McDonald's or use someone's hotspot. Also, anyone who says "well if they don't have data they should just not play" is stupid because Pokemon is a KIDS GAME and every normal kid who is not a spoiled rich kid does NOT HAVE DATA. And if you say you can still catch some Pokemon from your house you should try living on an acreage because one of my friends lives on an acreage and spoofs cause there are never ever Pokemon on his acreage, and he also lives in a village so he has no places in town for him to go, I also have a cousin who lives on an acreage and again outside of a village and loves Pokemon but can't play this and never did find out about hacks. In both of my examples, they don't have data.

an idea just spring to mind. you know how some mmorpg games have dedicated or separate servers for PvP and non PvP. if Niantic according to what you have mentioned, is able to tell spoofers apart from the rest of the legit players, just create a spoofers only server and place them there.
First... I believe you to be an amazing young man. Talented, creative, brilliant, and amazing young man that's going to make big one day. Their are not many kids these days in our society that are "grounded" like yourself. Im a parent of young children with disabilities, Everyday, is a challenge in our home. I work closely with autism, Down syndrome, special needs, amputees, leukemia, cancer. With this said, a lot of these children LOVE Pokémon Go. Unfortunately a lot of them are unable to get outside and walk like me and you. But, they watch your UA-cam videos and admire you. When this video came out, parents started to dislike your channel, unfollow you, etc. I, did not. I explained to my child it a different mentality. You should know, you hurt many parents and their disabled child. The only way some of these kids that look up to you, have to "spoof" to be able to catch Pokémon. Most of them are on such low levels. We let our children play the game to make them feel they are just like me and you simple things make children with disabilities so excited. I'm speaking for such a small amount of disabled children but I can only imagine how far spread this message has gotten and especially to the Community of disabilities and challenges of our children. Beside you saying "sorry" to the ones that have "maybe a cold" who spoof, maybe do a video apologizing in understanding the children that have disabilities that look up to you so highly and recognize the challenges and their parents challenges. These children battle every day with their needs. Anything that makes them happy like Pokémon go, makes us happy. This was a hard video to watch and see kids cry because they don't believe or see that you know about children with special needs and challenges. I'm writing this to you how important it is to recognize some of our children that can't do the things you and I can do.

Although i dont play anymore because of thieves and stuff (playing in a third World country with your phone out guarantees you a robbery and possibly a stab or something like that) you are absolutely right about disable kids, but the mayority of spoofer arent disabled, the idea of mystic to get a permission to spoof seems pretty good to me for that purpose.
I don't disagree with you. The point being, it generalized "all" spoofing people. Just trying to make sure to think before speaking for "all". I can only speak on behalf the large community of the "disabled". They LOVE Mystic. Again, what a brilliant young man he is and entrepreneur. Just a quick awareness of those who have mental or disability challenges, they too look up to him. Some can find it more devastating to hear that "spoofing" is "bad". Remember some minds have much more fears and sensitivity. It's just a "think before you speak" as the younger generation are the ones who look up to "Mystic" for Pokémon Go and some feel broken hearted from what was said. Again, a mother of a disabled child that is on level, playing for 1 year. I love my child and this game makes him so happy to be able to catch Pokémon and be proud BUT unfortunately he can't go out on his own or be in the sun. Just be kind with words.
Maggie Marsh I agree with this but just keep in mind that spoofing causes the developers of the game to focus more on stopping the problem than advancing the game and adding new interesting concepts and features. Although I would really like people who spoof to have a private server where they can only play with other spoofers, so people who are legitimate players won't be affected.

I watched your videos and you didn't even bother to catch growlithes, rhyhorns, snubbulls, and other pokemon which are ACTUALLY RARE in my region. There is a reason as to why Niantic hasn't been harsh on spoofers yet, and it's simply because we (I am a spoofer) makes up for majority of the remaining player base (or at least those that still play frequently). Real Racing 3 did a similar thing, where they banned cheaters and modders but reverted it as their player base dropped significantly (happened to me) Now regarding spoofing ruining gyms, I 100% agree with you, but even for a spoofer it isn't easy to hold a gym, I tried taking down a valor gym with decent Pokémons (2.5K CP+) and as soon as I placed my Pokémon in it just got attacked and brought down. I feel the real fix for this without compromising the player base would be to introduced daily missions which gives you pokecoin. So maybe catch 10 dark type Pokémon and it would give you 5 coins, and other easy daily missions What most people don't seem to realize is spoofers are the people that are keeping this game alive. Without us, level 4 raids would pretty much be impossible to do as you would never gather enough trainer at that specific location for that short duration of time. I completely understand legit players frustrations about spoofers and i have to say I am sorry, but I hope this comment will make you hate us less
Reasons I'm a spoofer 1. I'm 12 and I can't go outside by myself 2. I live in a forest area were there is no Pokémon or poke stops 3. I have school and don't have time to walk around anyways. This is why I spoof also HATE comments inbound

First of all thanks for all the hard work and fun and efforts you put into each video. Really appreciate the energy man . Regarding spoofing , I agree it's not right but it's what some people are forced to do . PokemonGo is only available in most European countries , Most Asian countries lack pokemon spawns and pokestops . There is no stop for like 5-6 kms and it's not like in the small city areas but also in major cities too . Countries where you have a large population and lot of pokemon lovers , the game should be released with full force compensating for the large database portion filled by spoofers.
This is how I see it, I stay in an area with only 3 stops and one gym, I never get rare spawns...and you don't see me flying around the world via spoofing. The thing is to deal with what you have, so what if you never get an unown, just focus on other aspects of the game until you are lucky enough to go to a place with rare spawns. Like myself, I couldn't care less about rare pokemon like torkoal, or any shinies, I focus on IVs which will be useful once PVP comes out, and good IV pokemon you can get anywhere. No need to spoof, the truth is there will always be an excuse why one needs to spoof, there will always be a reason why one is "disadvantaged", and if you give those excuses then you have a problem, don't blame it onto Niantic. All games have their challenges, the only difference is some are easier to cheat than others....
Sorry if any spoofers feel I am judging you, it's just I'm posting my opinion about spoofing and everyone is allowed to have their own opinion... Honestly if you want to spoof, spoof.... but if I see any spoofing activity I report it to the game... So you do you (spoofing), and Imma do me 😂😂😂
There's no justification for spoofing. It's cheating and Niantic has stated that. This is a game that's meant to be played when you're out in the real world, not sitting in your house. If someone is unable to go out and walk around, then they just can't play the game. As much as it sucks, they just have to play a different game. Niantic wants people to get out in their community and interact with each other. SPOOFING RUINS THE INTERACTION ASPECT OF THE GAME.
Here is my take on spoofing. When Pokémon go came out, I played 100% legit and loved it. I reached level 24 and almost completed gen 1. I live in Wisconsin and during the winter I'm practically forced to spoof unless I wanna freeze my ass off and get frost bite on my fingers. I just enjoy catching Pokémon like the good old days.
m8 I totally agree with your opinion on hacking and spoofing and it just ruins the game for people who do hack because they are not having any fun or actually finding the Pokemon itself AND for people who do not hack or spoof because I am not a great player (only lvl 21) and my local town gyms are like lvl 10 and constantly changing with NO ONE around and almost all Pokemon over 3500 cp and I stand no chance. Mystic when u said that you think niantic are scared to ban spoofers because they think they will stop playing the game, if they do not ban it, the legit people who don't spoof cannot take down gyms or do much in the game which makes non-spoofers quit the game. But just saying mystic I rate this video very highly and really hope anyone from the niantic community was watching this and I totally agree with your point.
Spoofing isn't really "bad" or "unfair." Some people can't go outside and play Pokemon Go like other players. I do however disagree with hackers taking over gyms and that should be fixed.
Me and my brother have been a victim of spoofing, we capture gyms and then they sometimes get taken down, we see no one around us, we checked at a couple of gyms which had a good view of the surrounding, we then have to beat the spoofer and hope that we keep the gym. Another issue is getting kicked by your own team members, we are in mystic, and some players just kick the pokemon at the bottom spot of the gym by lowering the prestige to 49000 and then then adding their own pokemon to the gym and you can't do anything because you can't enter your own teams gym when it's locked at level 10, we both have suffered from this, and sometimes this happens after midnight when there is mostly no activity of pokemon go, i say this because a few gyms i see from my home mostly never change hands after 11pm or so but only people who take them down or add their pokemon have long numeric names or seem to be high level spoofers. A solid proof that this happens is we took a gym, at that time a mystic gym nearby had it's prestige lowered to 49000 and a gym added his pokemon, then as soon as we walked down the bridge where we were playing in a couple of minutes the gym added his pokemon to the empty slot in the gym we captured and to our surprise in the next minute he even took down the next gym a level 1 or 2 valor gym and placed his pokemon in it, there was a good amount of distance to cover to reach that gym even with a vehicle let alone take it down that fast. We put ourselves in risk walking on crowded vehicle filled roads, there is always the risk of theft of your phone, walking in risky areas, and all niantic does is give a safety warning and expect there responsibility to be over, all the while spoofers enjoy playing the game from their bed, couch maybe having some grub along with it and with zero safety risks, they most like don't even buy anything from your shop niantic to fund you, so why are we legit players getting screwed. If spoofing is good for people who can't get out due to genuine reasons then why not just legitly add a joystick to the game and let everyone play from the comfort of their home, all this social thing is BS anyway, since socializing with a stranger may seem fun in movies and conventions but in real life on roads it's far from safe, if 3DS games didn't have a turn based combat system i'd be playing that and no one would be a spoofer in those games. Everyone would have fair level footing.
Myself and a work colleague (Im Valour, he is Instinct) team up during lunch to take down the mystic gyms that plague our street. Almost instantly mystic are back taking the gyms back. NO ONE IS THERE. Mystic seems to be the biggest spoofers in our town.
Personally, I do GPS Spoof. Not because I want to beat everyone, or be the best, but because there simply aren't any Pokemon near me. I live in middle-of-nowhere Kansas. It frustrates me that I can't play the game normally, but it is the only way I can enjoy the game like everyone else.
The things that I disagree about spoofing is when people battle gyms and when they catch every single rare Pokémon in the game. Those things are absolutely wrong
Niantic should really take down or at least strike channels that teach others how to spoof. This isn't impossible as companies such as Rockstar Games have done something similar back when big channels posted vids showing major exploits, money glitches on gta 5. Niantic should do what Rockstar Games did.
a lot of my friends spoof the game. I don't. I've tried to tell my friends, "You're gonna get banned." they don't listen to me... tbh, Pokémon Go was made to find pokemon in the real world. so, if you're gonna teleport somewhere to get like a 2k+ cp dragonite, that's messed up

honestly... I hated spoofers. But there are too many, you can't fight them in a fair way, at least not in my neighboorhood. So you know the saying; can't beat them? Join them. When I sat in the cold one night taking down a gym only to have spoofers claim it within minutes I gave up and instead of staying outside in the cold I joined their spoofing shit. I'm not proud of it but I was frustrated. I hope there will be a sollution one day so everyone is forced to play fair.
Used to be a problem, but now that my local Church has a gym I’m good. Just a 2 minute walk to get there. It does feel kinda weird playing Pokémon go in a cemetery, though.
Also it's obvious that loads of people still play PoGo in your area. Whereas in some areas people have stopped playing due to lack of Pokemon spawns in rural or suburban areas.
I think the speed cap was kind of ridiculous. Think how many kids/teens/adults even play while passengers! I used to play on the train or as a passenger. I've heard a lot of people in my area say they've stopped playing now because their only time to spin Pokestops was on the bus to school/work (we're in a rural area with very few stops). Worse off, now people are just driving super slow and playing while driving (I've seen it happen in our town), I'm talking 10 km/h in a 50 zone or something, which could be even more dangerous for traffic. Ugh Niantic...

You know what is really frustrating is I currently live in Vietnam and I do not even have a POKESTOP for MILES from me. Spoofing has been the only way I can continue to play and enjoy the game. Unfortunately, if they would ban or block spoofing again I would probably have to take a break from the game again. I get it's wrong but for some people in a similar situation
Trackers are apps that "spoof" in Pokemon GO to go find pokemon in your area. So, if you use a tracker, then you are indirectly spoofing, in other words, a spoofer is helping/telling you where that Dragonite or rare pokemon is.
TBH it's pretty dam hard for them to tell if people are spoofing unless they're teleporting around, if their character is moving at a running or walking pace not really any way they can tell to be honest
This is probably mentioned but scanners won't work without the ability to spoof. In fact it's worse, scanners can't work without the ability to bot. If Niantic takes out either of those abilities, goodbye tracking.
Your speculations are right. I am a spoofer lv 36 team valor and im telling you if Niantic would to bann us ALOT of people will stop playing pokemon GO. Literally everyone who plays pokemon go is a spoofer.
Love the idea of people who spoof being given Team Rocket outfits. It's probably not possible to stop spoofing completely but at least then they are identifiable and other players can then make informed decisions about going into raids etc. If people are happy to spoof they should own it but there should also be consequences. Possibly have a Team Rocket team where no additional team bonus or damage balls are awarded at raids etc.
Hello. I am in Pokémon go player who is blind. I completely agree with your comments saying desperate thing as a problem. I do believe that screw thing needs to be addressed. However I also believe that in certain situations, and you made this point abundantly clear. That if you were vision impaired or disabled you could get a biotic proved account that allows you to go out into the world without actually you know leaving your house or if you needed to. If you couldn't get out and get it get out into the world and have fun. If you can play the game like it was meant to be played. I agree that's a good idea that you had in this video.

What I'm trying to say in this whole thing is that by people abusing spoofing, certain aspects of the game are ruined for themselves and the people around them. I am absolutely aware that there are situations where people would be unable to play if they didn't spoof, and some of those situations are justified. It's just that it's hard to fix one issue without creating another, so they'd have to find some sort of happy medium.
Apologies to anyone I might have offended with my current stand on spoofing. I just don't like constantly seeing the negative side of it hurting the game.

I'm not trying to call out Mystic7 here, but not everyone lives in a city with a crap ton of rare Pokémon. Half his videos are just him driving down to the pier, and catching every rare Pokémon you can think of. I do understand that you can teleport to any Pokémon at any time, but as long as your not taking down every gym, there shouldn't be a problem with spoofing, Pokémon go isn't a very competitive game either. It's not some multiplayer game with a leaderboard and ranks.

Pokémon GO is being spoofed for a reason. Most of the people who spoof is doing it cause: 1. Its easy AF, 2. You can catch pokémons even Reversal would dream of, 3. No need to get out of your house. BUT! There are some people like my cousin, that are not living in a place which has rare pokemon in it (the best pokemon he found there is Xatu) and he really want to be part of the "big guys", like c'mon, he opens youtube and all he sees is episodes says "Catching a wild Dragonite!" or "Leveling up to level 40!" and when he clicks the video, all he sees is a 23 year old guy living on New york of los angeles and other places who has INCREDIBLE Pokemons, talking about IVs and how he is ready to evolve something really rare he found yesterday, while my young cousin who indeed grew up on Pokemon, is catching a pidgey and need to get permission from his mom to drive to the other side of his town to spin a pokestop. I know spoofing is gross but aslong as you are old enough for having a car, and as long as you live in a places like Santa Monica, STFU AND STOP SAYING SPOOFERS ARE ALL GROSS BECAUSE MY YOUNG COUSIN IS NOT GONNA FLY TO ANOTHER CONTINENT TO CATCH A CORSOLA, AND NOT EVERYONE HAS THE ABILITY TO BE "LEGIT" AND CATCH A SNORLAX EVERYDAY. Preach! I can hear your frustration. I live in a city where the nearest pokestop or gym is across the highway; I'm on the east coast, I'm talking actual seagulls and sand etc. Nothing here. So many of us aren't fortunate enough to be surrounded by stops and gyms and quite frankly, it pisses me off because it affects so many people here, and even after the update, we STILL see people with obvious multiple accounts talking over gyms and they're not even bothering to hide that fact.
Plus- since you (I'm talking to Mystic from here on) can't understand the frustration we rural people endure- may I suggest you actually walk a mile in our moccasins! For real. Challenge for you: prove you're a stand-up guy and don't play for a month. Check back with me how you Feel after no Pokemon Go for a month then. I agree that Niantic isn't doing as much as they should (using Twitter etc) to get rid of the problems like that Fusutl dude. Maybe it's time Niantic invests in whatever manpower that's needed in cleaning up the cheaters in the game... It needs rehauling asap.
Here's an idea to help the kids in the hospital: design some sort of hotspot type thing with a password, idk. For those legit handicapped like myself, why not be allowed to register to use your handicap car tag registration for example- to get a spoof license?

well mystic 7 you live in santa Monica and have all the Pokemon at your fingertips, also you have a lot of money so you can afford to go abroad and catch regional Pokemon. where as the majority of us live in areas with no Pokemon spawns apart from pidgeys, no pokestops so we constantly run out of poke balls, and we can't afford to go and travel to get regional. why should us people be left out when city people get everything

Hey Mystic7! I like your videos about pokemon go: Great style, great music and great pictures! Now up to todays topic: Well, not everyone has the opportunity to hang out at great locations like santa monica or central park. In my city in Germany you'll get 99% crap like rattata, goldeen, staryu etc from lures. Good for collecting candies for the lucky egg sessions, but crappy for good evolutions. And not everyone has the time to play pokemon go all day long hoping to run into a wild dragonite or something like that. And now consider if you live in a rural area with none or only a few pokestopps and gyms and shitty spawns. I've read on silphroad and other forums many complaints especially from your countrymen that they only once or never cought a wild dratini. So I don't wonder that spoofing became so attractive due to the quite unfair biome-classifications, even if they make kinda sense (water, desert and so on). It became very clear during the valentines event: Some people drowned in Porygon- or chansey-candies, some people didn't even find a single of those mons. And also the eggs are not fair: I'm above level 35 now, and I hatched my first snorlaxes (cought a few wild ones before) from eggs during the valentines event, playing the game since the official german release last July! Until now, I've never hatched a single Lapras from about 800 eggs, even though they regulary spawn in my city. Everyone should have the same chance to play pokemon go in a enjoyable way no matter where he/she lives! If Niantic would give up the "you have to travel"-strategy, which obviously doesn't work for a great part of the players and increase spawn rates of the rare mons instead spoofing will get pointless I suppose. Last but not least: An absolutely no-go in my opinion are farming and fighting bots which you just have to setup and they'll do all actions automatically. As I suppose, fighting bots are able to take town high level gyms way more effective and faster than real (=human) players. Hope you'll find my comment in between another of thousands. I am in that lvl 30 and never even seen a Dratini camp. By looking at these comments and seeing how lengthy most of them are Ill just go ahead and throw this out there - hes not gonna read half of them. But I read yours, and you made some very good points and hopefully be me liking and adding a comment to this it will bump it up and who knows maybe he will read it and see the argument from the other side. In the meantime, now that I know how easy it is to spoof thanks to him I might make a spare account real quick and catch all the mons Ill never get the opportunity to playing casually. Just in case trading ever comes out... I just want to fill the Dex :)

Don't play if you can't get outside. It is as simple as that. Understood that not everyone wants to travel across the world to get region exclusives and not everyone has everyone has the luxury of living near Santa Monica, I know plenty of genuine rural players who grind enough to complete their pokedex. Obviously they are making slow progress but it doesn't mean they should spoof to high density spawns. And tell me, who is playing more fairly? - A guy who races across 5 kilometres at 3 am to take down a level 10 gym or the one who takes the gym back just 5 minutes after legit player returns home?
Helispotter I think they should add a game mode with a joystick, but you can't go in gyms and there's like a mark that says it's the different game mode so you can't say it's ur real account

2: what if someone is injured and can’t go and find things all around the city.

Summer is coming in Florida and I'm not going to be walking around in 92 degree weather with 80%+ humidity and huge thunderstorms everyday. I hope they get rid of this speed limit because it is annoying and I can't go outside because of school all day and a lot of homework. The bus is the only time I can play and I can't even play. Now I have to be careful and not let my phone overheat in the hot weather.

I need explanations on something, how is using a third party tracker any different then spoofing? You're still using cheats in order the get the same end result. Although I really enjoy your content your argument contradicts itself. I dont spoof or use a tracker because Its the thrill of the hunt for me, nothing feels better then finding something rare on my own.

The difference as I see it is that a tracker does not directly affect other players, whereas spoofing, specifically to control gyms, does. I've stood next to a gym outside my house (lucky me), and watched it get taken down with no one around (my family of 5 all play, so we were all in there), and then have 2 Tauros put in (I'm in the UK). My kids were really upset, as they had put the effort in to train it up.

Spoofing isn't that big a deal any more with the current gym system. So i don't think people should care because it can't effect you much any more you can defend gyms from home now and taking them out is easy too so there is no real reason to complain about it any more if you still do complain then you need to find something better to do with your time

Here is the story in my country which is a little rural but not in a disgusting level. It has a decent amount of pokestops and gyms for the size of our country. BUT. Even though they are all accessible and just fine when it comes to weather and everything, I am trying all day long fighting gyms that are like 10 lvl with maxed out tyranitars and rare stuff and regionals and in seconds they are build up again. I am grinding but spoofers in my area not only taking the gyms which is hella unfair but in this way they slow me down and they make their levels raining. I mean i am almost level 33 and i was way ahead of them but now we are all around same levels. Well done #MYSTIC7. Well fking said dude! I was waiting for someone to do that. With the current gym system, spoofers don’t hurt the game , and when it comes to raids spoofing actually helps the game. There has been several legendary raids that me and others would not have won if there wasn’t spoofers there. Because we only had 3 people and 5 spoofers was in the lobby.

The reason most people spoof (at least every single person I know who does it) is because they don't have a data plan on their phone so they simply have to do this unless they sit at McDonald's or use someone's hotspot. Also, anyone who says "well if they don't have data they should just not play" is stupid because Pokemon is a KIDS GAME and every normal kid who is not a spoiled rich kid does NOT HAVE DATA.
And if you say you can still catch some Pokemon from your house you should try living on an acreage because one of my friends lives on an acreage and spoofs cause there are never ever Pokemon on his acreage, and he also lives in a village so he has no places in town for him to go, I also have a cousin who lives on an acreage and again outside of a village and loves Pokemon but can't play this and never did find out about hacks. In both of my examples, they don't have data.

an idea just spring to mind. you know how some mmorpg games have dedicated or separate servers for PvP and non PvP. if Niantic according to what you have mentioned, is able to tell spoofers apart from the rest of the legit players, just create a spoofers only server and place them there.
First... I believe you to be an amazing young man. Talented, creative, brilliant, and amazing young man that's going to make big one day. Their are not many kids these days in our society that are "grounded" like yourself. Im a parent of young children with disabilities, Everyday, is a challenge in our home. I work closely with autism, Down syndrome, special needs, amputees, leukemia, cancer. With this said, a lot of these children LOVE Pokémon Go. Unfortunately a lot of them are unable to get outside and walk like me and you. But, they watch your UA-cam videos and admire you. When this video came out, parents started to dislike your channel, unfollow you, etc. I, did not. I explained to my child it a different mentality. You should know, you hurt many parents and their disabled child. The only way some of these kids that look up to you, have to "spoof" to be able to catch Pokémon. Most of them are on such low levels. We let our children play the game to make them feel they are just like me and you simple things make children with disabilities so excited. I'm speaking for such a small amount of disabled children but I can only imagine how far spread this message has gotten and especially to the Community of disabilities and challenges of our children. Beside you saying "sorry" to the ones that have "maybe a cold" who spoof, maybe do a video apologizing in understanding the children that have disabilities that look up to you so highly and recognize the challenges and their parents challenges. These children battle every day with their needs. Anything that makes them happy like Pokémon go, makes us happy. This was a hard video to watch and see kids cry because they don't believe or see that you know about children with special needs and challenges. I'm writing this to you how important it is to recognize some of our children that can't do the things you and I can do.

There is a reason as to why Niantic hasn't been harsh on spoofers yet, and it's simply because we (I am a spoofer) makes up for majority of the remaining player base (or at least those that still play frequently). Real Racing 3 did a similar thing, where they banned cheaters and modders but reverted it as their player base dropped significantly (happened to me)
Now regarding spoofing ruining gyms, I 100% agree with you, but even for a spoofer it isn't easy to hold a gym, I tried taking down a valor gym with decent Pokémons (2.5K CP+) and as soon as I placed my Pokémon in it just got attacked and brought down. I feel the real fix for this without compromising the player base would be to introduced daily missions which gives you pokecoin. So maybe catch 10 dark type Pokémon and it would give you 5 coins, and other easy daily missions
What most people don't seem to realize is spoofers are the people that are keeping this game alive. Without us, level 4 raids would pretty much be impossible to do as you would never gather enough trainer at that specific location for that short duration of time.

First of all thanks for all the hard work and fun and efforts you put into each video. Really appreciate the energy man . Regarding spoofing , I agree it's not right but it's what some people are forced to do . PokemonGo is only available in most European countries , Most Asian countries lack pokemon spawns and pokestops . There is no stop for like 5-6 kms and it's not like in the small city areas but also in major cities too . Countries where you have a large population and lot of pokemon lovers , the game should be released with full force compensating for the large database portion filled by spoofers.
This is how I see it, I stay in an area with only 3 stops and one gym, I never get rare spawns...and you don't see me flying around the world via spoofing. The thing is to deal with what you have, so what if you never get an unown, just focus on other aspects of the game until you are lucky enough to go to a place with rare spawns. Like myself, I couldn't care less about rare pokemon like torkoal, or any shinies, I focus on IVs which will be useful once PVP comes out, and good IV pokemon you can get anywhere. No need to spoof, the truth is there will always be an excuse why one needs to spoof, there will always be a reason why one is "disadvantaged", and if you give those excuses then you have a problem, don't blame it onto Niantic. All games have their challenges, the only difference is some are easier to cheat than others....

There's no justification for spoofing. It's cheating and Niantic has stated that. This is a game that's meant to be played when you're out in the real world, not sitting in your house. If someone is unable to go out and walk around, then they just can't play the game. As much as it sucks, they just have to play a different game. Niantic wants people to get out in their community and interact with each other. SPOOFING RUINS THE INTERACTION ASPECT OF THE GAME.
Here is my take on spoofing. When Pokémon go came out, I played 100% legit and loved it. I reached level 24 and almost completed gen 1. I live in Wisconsin and during the winter I'm practically forced to spoof unless I wanna freeze my ass off and get frost bite on my fingers. I just enjoy catching Pokémon like the good old days.

Spoofing isn't really "bad" or "unfair." Some people can't go outside and play Pokemon Go like other players. I do however disagree with hackers taking over gyms and that should be fixed.
Me and my brother have been a victim of spoofing, we capture gyms and then they sometimes get taken down, we see no one around us, we checked at a couple of gyms which had a good view of the surrounding, we then have to beat the spoofer and hope that we keep the gym.
Another issue is getting kicked by your own team members, we are in mystic, and some players just kick the pokemon at the bottom spot of the gym by lowering the prestige to 49000 and then then adding their own pokemon to the gym and you can't do anything because you can't enter your own teams gym when it's locked at level 10, we both have suffered from this, and sometimes this happens after midnight when there is mostly no activity of pokemon go, i say this because a few gyms i see from my home mostly never change hands after 11pm or so but only people who take them down or add their pokemon have long numeric names or seem to be high level spoofers.
A solid proof that this happens is we took a gym, at that time a mystic gym nearby had it's prestige lowered to 49000 and a gym added his pokemon, then as soon as we walked down the bridge where we were playing in a couple of minutes the gym added his pokemon to the empty slot in the gym we captured and to our surprise in the next minute he even took down the next gym a level 1 or 2 valor gym and placed his pokemon in it, there was a good amount of distance to cover to reach that gym even with a vehicle let alone take it down that fast. We put ourselves in risk walking on crowded vehicle filled roads, there is always the risk of theft of your phone, walking in risky areas, and all niantic does is give a safety warning and expect there responsibility to be over, all the while spoofers enjoy playing the game from their bed, couch maybe having some grub along with it and with zero safety risks, they most like don't even buy anything from your shop niantic to fund you, so why are we legit players getting screwed.
If spoofing is good for people who can't get out due to genuine reasons then why not just legitly add a joystick to the game and let everyone play from the comfort of their home, all this social thing is BS anyway, since socializing with a stranger may seem fun in movies and conventions but in real life on roads it's far from safe, if 3DS games didn't have a turn based combat system i'd be playing that and no one would be a spoofer in those games. Everyone would have fair level footing.

Myself and a work colleague (Im Valour, he is Instinct) team up during lunch to take down the mystic gyms that plague our street. Almost instantly mystic are back taking the gyms back. NO ONE IS THERE. Mystic seems to be the biggest spoofers in our town.
Personally, I do GPS Spoof. Not because I want to beat everyone, or be the best, but because there simply aren't any Pokemon near me. I live in middle-of-nowhere Kansas. It frustrates me that I can't play the game normally, but it is the only way I can enjoy the game like everyone else.
The things that I disagree about spoofing is when people battle gyms and when they catch every single rare Pokémon in the game. Those things are absolutely wrong
Niantic should really take down or at least strike channels that teach others how to spoof. This isn't impossible as companies such as Rockstar Games have done something similar back when big channels posted vids showing major exploits, money glitches on gta 5. Niantic should do what Rockstar Games did.
a lot of my friends spoof the game. I don't. I've tried to tell my friends, "You're gonna get banned." they don't listen to me... tbh, Pokémon Go was made to find pokemon in the real world. so, if you're gonna teleport somewhere to get like a 2k+ cp dragonite, that's messed up
I mean I can see why some people would do it because they don’t live in good places for the game and it’s unfair for them bc gas and stuff is going up not everyone has the money to travel to a better area so they spoof so they can have fun but ya people who spoof just bc their lazy and abuse it is annoying
honestly... I hated spoofers. But there are too many, you can't fight them in a fair way, at least not in my neighboorhood. So you know the saying; can't beat them? Join them. When I sat in the cold one night taking down a gym only to have spoofers claim it within minutes I gave up and instead of staying outside in the cold I joined their spoofing shit. I'm not proud of it but I was frustrated. I hope there will be a sollution one day so everyone is forced to play fair.
Used to be a problem, but now that my local Church has a gym I’m good. Just a 2 minute walk to get there. It does feel kinda weird playing Pokémon go in a cemetery, though.
Also it's obvious that loads of people still play PoGo in your area. Whereas in some areas people have stopped playing due to lack of Pokemon spawns in rural or suburban areas.
I think the speed cap was kind of ridiculous. Think how many kids/teens/adults even play while passengers! I used to play on the train or as a passenger. I've heard a lot of people in my area say they've stopped playing now because their only time to spin Pokestops was on the bus to school/work (we're in a rural area with very few stops). Worse off, now people are just driving super slow and playing while driving (I've seen it happen in our town), I'm talking 10 km/h in a 50 zone or something, which could be even more dangerous for traffic. Ugh Niantic...

You know what is really frustrating is I currently live in Vietnam and I do not even have a POKESTOP for MILES from me. Spoofing has been the only way I can continue to play and enjoy the game. Unfortunately, if they would ban or block spoofing again I would probably have to take a break from the game again. I get it's wrong but for some people in a similar situation
Trackers are apps that "spoof" in Pokemon GO to go find pokemon in your area. So, if you use a tracker, then you are indirectly spoofing, in other words, a spoofer is helping/telling you where that Dragonite or rare pokemon is.
TBH it's pretty dam hard for them to tell if people are spoofing unless they're teleporting around, if their character is moving at a running or walking pace not really any way they can tell to be honest
This is probably mentioned but scanners won't work without the ability to spoof. In fact it's worse, scanners can't work without the ability to bot.
If Niantic takes out either of those abilities, goodbye tracking.
Your speculations are right. I am a spoofer lv 36 team valor and im telling you if Niantic would to bann us ALOT of people will stop playing pokemon GO. Literally everyone who plays pokemon go is a spoofer.
And i do buy alot of poke coins so Niantic knows was up at the end of the day its all about the Money.

Love the idea of people who spoof being given Team Rocket outfits. It's probably not possible to stop spoofing completely but at least then they are identifiable and other players can then make informed decisions about going into raids etc. If people are happy to spoof they should own it but there should also be consequences. Possibly have a Team Rocket team where no additional team bonus or damage balls are awarded at raids etc.
Hello. I am in Pokémon go player who is blind. I completely agree with your comments saying desperate thing as a problem. I do believe that screw thing needs to be addressed. However I also believe that in certain situations, and you made this point abundantly clear. That if you were vision impaired or disabled you could get a biotic proved account that allows you to go out into the world without actually you know leaving your house or if you needed to. If you couldn't get out and get it get out into the world and have fun. If you can play the game like it was meant to be played. I agree that's a good idea that you had in this video.
