The political strategy of pembangkang is to incite people with issues to make people angry, ofc against the seating government - it's their job. It spilled over into our everyday lives. Isn't it then we're indirectly criticizing them with our biased view?
Keep it going Sir, this video make my day, thank you. Please Malaysians , think a little bit, understand a little bit, there is no turning back, go forward, whatever it takes, we have to try to move forward for a better future, a better citizen. CORRUPTION, IGNORANCE, get out of it.
Hi Bobby. Another interesting blog from you. I have to agree with you. Actually this group of people (hypocrite) can be found in every country. Each country has its own. Hopefully as we grow wiser and have an open mind when seeing blog like yours. We learn to be better person.
Some of our politicians like to highlight this negative point of view to gain easy and cheap traction, which affects those who value harmony. I still hope for an end to this kind of politics. I love Malaysia 🇲🇾
Another thing that irks me is some Malaysians always complain that Malaysians are poor, salary is so low compared to neighbor Singapore and so on. But these same people also say Singaporeans stay in shoebox apartments, cannot afford buy car bla bla. Make up your mind! Don’t compare apple and oranges
Malaysians who bought house(s) before the exponential price increase think they are rich, even richer then poor Sporeans living in small boxes. Those complaining are the young ones who missed this durian runtuh. Is their complain wrong? It hurts more when the lucky earlier generation criticize them lazy, not resourceful.
This should be said about Indonesians as well. As a Minangkabau-originate, I feel a lot closer at home when I'm in Malaysia then when I'm in Jakarta or other eastern part of the country. There's even a whole state (N. Sembilan) that speaks the same dialect as us. Why would anyone in Indonesia surprise when some Malaysians claim that Rendang is theirs? When those Malaysians were originated from Minangkabau Sultanate that already there from centuries ago. At least, try to understand some of the history first.
My life partner is a Filipina. Tagalog and Malay share many vocabs, like mangkuk, payung, anak, lelaki, ciku, nangka, sayang, etc. She's essentially a Malay, but a Catholic with Spanish-sounding name.
This is just categorically false. The words and the grammars were miles apart. Im afraid this is just the malaynization on your part. She doesnt speak a word of it and you apparently dont understand a lot of it.
Honestly it comes down to majority of the upbringing and partly education. Mindset and culture. I’m never the one to compare. What is theirs is theirs. I enjoy what we have & let others enjoy whatever that brings happiness to them. Life is too short.
I truly agree. I believe we can enjoy each other's culture and food, doesn't matter if each of us have our own version of the same food. Just appreciate the food if it's good, how hard can it be. Just accept that Singapore's Bak kut teh is different, and enjoyed it as a dish.

When we are commenting about a trend, we have to generalise. If you're not one of them you will know you aren't, if you are, then I'm glad it reaches you. We must not be too soft when we want to discuss things that we ourselves should improve upon.
Politicians are in essence, just Malaysians who want to serve the country. But there are people who want the position so they can begin their path towards corruption, and to protect their path towards corruption, they stir up lies and create friction amongst the people using religion, race etc So that they can rile up supporters to cover their dirty deeds.
