Thank you Julien. Ever since your lat video, i followed it to create my website and adjusted along my preference. I myself used the portfolio interface since it suited my personal case more.
That's terrific! I had a quick look at your site and as mentioned in the video, a more project-based oeuvre can work very well with such a portfolio interface. So everything's perfect!
@@contemporaryartissue yes i agree, thank you so much again, i still remember the first day using Squarespace and basically with all the documentations i already had, i finished a basic look of it in one day :) From then on i asked for my colleagues' thoughts and improve upon it.
@@contemporaryartissue And in the CSS function, i actually asked Chat GPT to assist me with rotating my logo when the mouse is hovered over it, i wanted to point this out since you also had a video about Chat GPT for artist statement and bio. It's mind blowing for what good use we can use the tools today

Thank you so, so much. I've been looking for a different approach to show my portfolio apart from the "portfolio page" and found nothing I like. This is the style I was looking for. Thanks very much. Good work with the canal.
thank you. it seems that this process would be more efficient if one had all their images organized before starting the web site. Perhaps that pre-work would be an interesting topic for a video. Thanks again.
Absolutely! Perhaps this a great topic for next weeks video. We also have a document template/tool to organize all your art you have ever made into one single document. Feel free to have a look here: www.contemporaryartissue.com/product/inventory-overview-catalogue-raissone-template-word-pdf-excel/
Thank you so much about theses tips. I was wondering. I feel that famous photographer working in the art sector like the spanish Alberto Garcia Alix or Hiroshi Sugimoto have always space for text and description about the serie. Because photographer tend to work with series i was wondering if you had recommendation for those working with that medium about their website.
oooh awesome you made this! THANK YOU!!!!! you are SO on to it.
My pleasure! 💪🙌
This is going to help us. My wife and I are making a new website for my sculpture portfolio after my old web master died. Square Space is amazing.
Go for it! With Squarespace it has been really easy, especially with some guidance. Have a great day!
Unfortunately the link option for the text blocks has no setting button on my page. Does anyone know whats the problem here?
