A bit sad not seeing you doing the quest events for some reason, even tho they provide a good challenge, rewards and flavour for the gameplay. Also, you can spam the defense assuming you are blocking the attacks (it resets the cooldown), just a friendly reminder :)
Otherwise good job playing one of the hardest (if not the hardest) characters in the game so far :) and glad you enjoyed it, it is one of my favourite roguelites.
This is an amazing game to play with friends. It's still in early access, and I hope the devs will add more content and replayability after the 1.0 release.

Wukong's block insta refreshes to off cooldown if it blocks any damage, thats how you can block multi hit attacks as much as I understand. Great if you know the monsters combos, a gamble if you don't (will watch chapter 3 come tomorrow morn)

Over time, after aRPG after ARPG left me bored and literally falling asleep in front of the computer and not understanding why one of my old favorite genres can't hold my attention anymore, I've come to realize it's because I now prefer more deliberate, more tactical combat than the skill spamming, trashmob destroying action that ARPGs typically have. Closer to the way one would fight in a moba. I think Ravenswatch is a step in the right direction. Thanks for introducing it to me.
You are describing No Rest for the Wicked. It's still very early in its early access but I already have 100+ hours and I still enjoy everything it has to offer. It has 0 fat.

@@evn556 Tried it on PC. Couldn't get a hang of the controls and I don't have/like controllers.
@@vagkalosynakis saw that as well. Very interesting but I also saw it had a lot of negative reviews which I thought were understandable given the early state. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it.

Yeah, seems game still has same issues, you hit like a wet noodle amd enemy hits like a truck.
sun wukong its a tricky character, it has 2 stances. the dmg stance it deals more damage but also it takes a lot more dmg. and then the defense stance where it deals little dmg but it heals
My ONLY Wish is that you'd actually get decent XP, that's been my biggest gripe throughout development in an otherwise most excellent game.
