The premise of this video is just "cartoon characters try to buy a DVD player" and its funnier than a majority of animated parody cartoons you see on this site.

Except it actually has a plot instead of characters standing still, talking like their stoned and murming gibberish that has no relevance like every other Adult swim show.
My last name is Oliver as well... I was the artist/animator who created the Kids' WB Holiday Sock (literally). BUT to clarify, someone else invented the character, I created the design and all the frames of animation that brought him to life. Nice voice work btw!

One, I need you to get the hell out of my head as I have been singing that ending song for some frickin reason at least once a day (local alt radio station keeps playing it as well). And two, this brought back some good memories and laughs, so thank you. Also, stupid side story that nobody will read. Your comment about a "dime VCR" reminded me of an incident around the early 2000's. We only had basic cable so Kids WB was pretty huge to me as one of the only things available to watch (I used to sometimes sit through the hour long infomercial before the program block began, just to ensure I didn't miss the start of it). Our VCR connected to the TV was ancient and the top of it was ripped off (VCR probably tried to eat one of the tapes and so we had to rip it open to pry it out). My little brother in goofing around flipped a dime in the air and whatever that tiny coin hit, it bricked the VCR. Needless to say, everyone in the house wanted to kill him. We eventually rented a DVD/VCR combo my mom couldn't afford and had to take back, but not before watching Shrek on it. Not sure why I felt the need to tell everyone this, lol.
As a die hard Kids WB fan, this feels like it was made for me. Incredibly well done. And honestly, the premise is not too different from the kinds of bumpers they used to play.
What that the name of that song at the end? Edit: I just discovered it through the Shazam app. Also, it's Jumper by Third Eye Blind if anyone else is wondering.
