The captains of all teams wore armbands in Ukrainian colours and before kick-off at each game players, managers and fans were united in showing their support for the Ukrainian people who are suffering because of Russia's invasion.
The only notable exception was at Turf Moor, where Chelsea supporters were booed by Burnley fans for singing Roman Abramovich's name during the tribute.

Everyone pray for Ukraine 🙏🏻
Hypocrite double standard
Classy Chelsea. Classy.
It makes me proud to be British stay strong Ukraine
Brighton is spot on with blue and yellow
Ahh... this is why the weeks fixtures have been banned in China.
One minute for Ukraine, then you must have YEARS for PALESTINE
NO.
Free Palestine!
@@domnubest Worthless things are free.
Stop wars!
Syria,Palestine?
Firstly apologise for jallianwala bagh incident. You owe us an official apology.
Hypocrisy at its finest... Support for Ukraine is ok but not for Palestine. Shout out to the Celtic fans and the Irish people!
What a funny thing, all in a sudden, everyone seems to have their conscience grow up overnight, like they've never seen wars before, like they were not on this planet in last 20 years.
@kinght --- that's bc they are all racist phhhucks
Why this thing didnt happen with Afghanistan, Iraq or other poor countries attacked by USA? Double standard?
Yes, where were these players during the crusades?! Where was the football community during Roman invasions?! 🤪
@@Erivanci haha.. check out Bayerns Crest during the mid 30s (it had a big swastika on it).
Here we go again with the whataboutery comments.
Iraq Afghanistan both had illegitimate, totalitarian regimes in power brutally repressing their own people
You can argue a case for both wars particularly in Afghanistan, Iraq yes there can be an argument against.
The war against Ukraine with a democratically elected leader and a country not perfect but it’s citizens were certainly not persecuted by their own government is a war that is completely indefensible and is an affront to civilised people across the globe
You want to tie it to your dislike of the US and make cheap points go ahead
The rest of us are in the here and now and stand with Ukraine
you sound suspiciously like Sergey Lavrov.
@@Mike-gn4un Afghanistan has just been taken over by a illegitimate totalitarian regime who are brutally oppressing their own people. What now?
I hope Celtic fans don't get fined for showing solidarity to Palestinians if we can show solidarity to Ukraine
💙🇺🇦💛
I'm a Chelsea fan and I say Roman Abramovich can get outta here. Any Chelsea fan showing support for him isn't a real Chelsea fan. Real Chelsea fans stand with Ukraine. Much love from NYC. 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇦
You probably became a Chelsea fan when they signed Pulisic. Don’t be an ingrate to the one who changed the course of our club.
@@leonbattistaalberti6691 I’ve been a Chelsea fan for five years. I don’t support Russian bureaucrats. I support Chelsea. If the owner helping the team matters more to you than the suffering of Ukrainians, I don’t know what to say.
im a chelsea fan..i still stand for russia and roman...
Keep politics out of football
I agree, it should apply to all countries
Really funny. Never seem it happened for Syria, Iraq, Palestine and Jugoslavij. Hypocritical!
There was a huge turn out of protesters for Iraq, there were boycotts and statements for Palestine, and Syria was covered a lot. Go away China kid.
