But probably the biggest tearjerker of all goodbyes was when Glasgow Rangers honored Fernando Ricksen with a last match. I literally cried when he kicked off the game and fell to the ground because of the disease that ended his life. 😢
I love and respect both of them but I think they chose to dishonor themselves and go to loser clubs. They should have tried hard to finish out their careers in Europe, and finish with honor with fans the love and care for them. I understand trying to make a lot of money, but I don't think it's worth trashing their reputation. They are still very well-known people. They could have used their names to create businesses and make money in different ways after retirement. Like they already have started to.
