Greater Boston Video: Satanic Ritual Causes Uproar

- It's one of the strangest stories to roil Boston in recent memory: a Satanic "black mass" was scheduled yesterday on Harvard's campus but drew vehement protest from Boston's Catholic community and ended up taking place in a Chinese restaurant. As weird as it sounds, the episode raises big questions about the balance between academic freedom and religious beliefs. WGBH's Adam Reilly has more.
I think it an outrage that all those Catholics were more offended by this than by the revelation that their church covered up decades of child sexual abuse. They desecrated their own religion.
I love that one old guy's comment where he says as catholics we do not mock other people's faith yet there is over 45,000 denominations of Christianity worldwide and each one believes that only theirs is the true church and everyone else is going to hell so his comment really amuses me🤦😂

I am currently non practicing but was raised Christian. I don't agree w all christian doctrine. Having read the TST tenants,I like what I c. It makes alot more sense to me. Also the "demonizing"(pun intended) on a different religion is ridiculous. I think we all know different phrases that can b applied to the Christian faith that point out it's historical extreme and horrible imperfections. I do ID as Pagan tho.

The great schism occurred in the Church in 1054, was when the Eastern Orthodox Church was founded and the Roman Catholic Church, Jesus was not on Earth at this time as you know. What you do not know was that the traditional orthodox practice and traditions were not changed by the E.O.C but the R.C.C. changed the practices, following your logic the E.O.C is the true. Church.

I am Wiccan and I myself am happy this was not allowed to happen. Any group/religious community should be shameful of mocking and the degrading of another’s dearly held beliefs and traditions. They do it to us as well by inverting the pentagram upside down. They do it to upset the natural order the Sacred circle holds. It is appalling to mock another’s religion.
