- Lucien Greaves is a social activist and the spokesman and co-founder of The Satanic Temple. Greaves has become a national figure not only as the face of The Satanic Temple but for leading successful campaigns and iconoclastic protests such as the Pink Mass at the grave of the mother of Fred Phelps, the founder of the Westboro Baptist Church. The Satanic Temple's attempts to exercise its right to religious freedom have resulted in state and local governments removing contentious Christian displays from public areas such as the Belle Plaine, Minn., Veterans Memorial Park.

I think it's important to understand your audience. It's also really warming to see this side of him.

Lucien is among friends. Additionally, Annie and Dan are warm wonderful people. It is easier to communicate with them than with a Bill O'Reilly style bully who doesn't let people finish their thoughts.
Still... I agree, I have never seen Lucien so at ease and charming.

Such reasonable positions to take on social and religious equality issues. Can't say a bad thing about this co-founder's presentation, clearly semantics is very important and he answers in a concise manner. Very good interview, reveals the true nature of the Temple's mission. I've become a fan of Lucien Greaves.

Brilliant. Thank you again for another wonderfully informative show. I lost my career as a teacher a few years back due to being open about my atheism. I relish and support all each one of you does.
I love the premise of the Satanic Temple. I post the tenets on Facebook awhile back without reference. Everyone agreed with all of them except using science as a basis for truth. It reinforces the daily struggle.

As usual, Mr. Greaves presents himself as articulate, thoughtful, logical, well educated, and eloquent. He offers a strong and cogent point of view and dialectic, backed by factual evidence. The two FFRF hosts are well meaning but seem fairly clueless by comparison. They aren't even able to pronounce Lucien's name correctly.
And empathetic
He is the man!

This guy is actually astonishingly intelligent.
The whole Satanic thing is a put-on act that’s chiefly meant to challenge freedom of religion in the US Constitution. Anton LaVey was also nothing but a grand showman a la PT Barnum. They’re not really evil, they’re just challenging the system to be thought provoking. Have you seen the documentary, Hail, Satan? Satanism is not what you think it is. Greaves is in on the “joke” and doing it purely for socio theological debate and discourse. Of course, every religion has its lunatic fringe. THOSE are the ones to watch out for.

Unfortunately Arkansas just got an even worse Gov than before, she just pulled school tax dollars to private (Christian) schools and away from public schools. If public schools have to consolidate in rural areas due to reduced funding, some kids will be spending 2+ hours each way being bussed to & from school!😳
If officials in these red states had their way, no schooling would exist other than ✝ !😒🇺🇸

Freedom from religion. religious institutions are the choice of those who attend Church Temple etc. Christianity really is a belief in the life teachings of Jesus Christ. Biblical translations often used to validate an archaic judgemental persecution ideaolkgy. Whereas the teachings of Christ do not need supernatural powers deity's. Science and Supernatural Deity's. Misquoting biblical scripture is not inspiration for the year 2024. Neither is stigmatizing Satan.
