SAFETY TIP: Put a soft stirofoam type thing on the top of the windshield in case your head slams foward and down... It that happened, your head would be split open where ever you hit it... Forehead, nose or mouth... This is IMPORTANT. Daniel

Not sure how far is Hadden lake from there ? I almost bought a place on that lake in 97 I’m pretty sure it’s not listed for $112 k 2 bedrooms dock and 150’ lake front, yea sometimes I think how could I not think that wouldn’t have been a great retirement plan .
My word of advice as expensive as every thing is today it will never be anymore affordable as it is right now in a general sense .

I grew up in the Finger Lakes region of upstate NY. Hard to beat for beauty year round! Then moved to the Sandpoint area. The only time the Finger Lakes region beats out the Sandpoint area is the peak of fall colors! I really miss the oaks and maples covering the hills! But the rest of the time, the Rockies are AMAZING! I love living in the Sandpoint area!

They never take themselves or any of their mistakes too seriously. I also love how they take feedback from their audience and use the knowledge of others to make their builds even more epic! Keep it up guys!

The biggest problem with this is if it takes more water than it can displace, it will sink like a rock. Since this boat has a pretty big scoop, i suggest you make a rack with a fast inflating rescue buoy on the back (they're not that big) and the fill sensor can be in the engine bay at the top. If it sinks, this deploys and keeps it afloat.
Two other mods, T end for the jet, and a set of stability wings.

Great stuff guys! Just need some quality of life improvements:
    - Cockpit padding
    - Faster bilge pump
    - Swamp anti-sinking inflatable (use a small self-inflating emergency raft, as described elsewhere)
    - Safety cutoff
If you can't get a better bilge, or maybe even if you can, what about doing a skirt around the cockpit like a whitewater kayak? That would really help keep out the splashes, and might even save you from getting swamped. Worth a think.
Speaking of whitewater, when are you taking this little monster out on the river? Can't wait to see it shredding some class 2 and 3.

I'd still like to see you guys build a mini offroad wrecker to take down to Matt's off road tow truck Olympics I thing it would be hilarious 😂.

You guys have to race it with a real big speed boat and compare them,,, would be awesome,,, because this thing rips brutal... 👍Unbelievable work

It might win to 20-30mph, but the big boat would be able to stay in the water where this thing bounces around. It's all about agility over speed.

I’m always impressed with how you guys come up with new and improved parts for whatever you’re working on. I was thinking that little boat would’ve been faster than 42 m.p.h. with having 100 h.p. but maybe the torque isn’t there. I had a 17’6” fibreglass boat in the early 70’s with a Mercruiser in/out drive and an inline GM 250c.i. 6 cylinder engine rated at 165 h.p. I put a stainless prop on it and it did the same speed you guys were running at. I figured you would get about 50 m.p.h. Love your channel guys.👍👍🇨🇦

Your a talented fabricator and DIY guy there is no disputing that fact. I do wonder when you put a jet boat into the water with rocks without thinking that may be a problem. The air box is a similar situation. I do like this project it's just that right amount of danger, risk, speed and water. Brilliant.
