- Guess who got round to reading and watching 1984? Guess who hasn't been able to get it out of their head? Guess who wants to hold Winston and tell him everything will be okay?
I have such a love for the "literally me" edits. Been wanting to do one for so long but was never able to push myself.
After experiencing John Hurt's performance of Winston Smith I felt compelled.

Having just finished "1984" a couple of days ago, I feel this edit does Winston justice to his grasp and knowledge over his inevitable fate and "vanishing"...

This version is good, no shade at all to John Hurt's version of Winston, but I personally find the older version with Peter Cushing playing the part of Winston much more haunting.
