Thank you Sam Spruell for playing the most weirdly creepy yet intriguing character my eyeballs have seen in a long time. I hope you win an award sir. #fargo #tv #scenepack
Make sure u all set the resolution to 2160p for the best quality. Before I get any complainers in the comments, I know I left some scenes out and cut others short. My phone storage can only hold so much so I had to trim the video down. Nonetheless, enjoy the MUNCH!
Thank you so much. I'm not religious....... but sometimes.. a man has... thoughts.. thanks to things like this. I loved this season so much. A man is just a man, with or without sin. X
I’m on an old iPhone from like 2018 so I won’t risk trying to set it to 2160p for risk of exploding my phone :p But I’ll still enjoy in 720p then watch again on my TV (so I can see the highest resolution) when I’m actually out of bed.. which won’t be for a while because I just got into it 😅 Thanks for the video. They both say stuff that confuse the heck out of all the other characters. Every season of Fargo has one character whose philosophy is hard to understand by all the other characters; it’s almost mystical from a completely different world and out of place.
9:11 Holy shit. The minister that oversees the ritualistic service in Wales has antlers, in the same way that Roy sprouts his own horns when killing Danish. Wow. Also, what a fucking callback at 14:02.

Munch in the' Wales ' scene, everyone speaking with an Irish accent, a bit like the American made film How green was my valley , all with an Irish accent. We don't speak like that boyo !
My own inclination is that he's a Scot/Norwegian who lost his soul in Wales. Then spent the rest of his miserable life fulfilling debts as a soldier, hit man or kidnapper, unable to dream or grow, but also only killing those who he is paid to or those who cross him , until he met a Tiger in Dot. And then the old lady. And then the ungrateful son. His ideology in my eyes is very old testament stuff, of which he sees through in Roy's hypocrisy. The idea of debt is portrayed through Lorraine (punishment), Roy (uses it as an excuse, thinks he's owed the world), Munch (doesn't know any better since his soul was washed away without love, but figures he's owed something). Gator crosses that line, since a man was paid, then the son tries to take from him and then accidentally kills the old woman. But Dot is fighting for survival, not greed. Dot gave him back his soul. Meanwhile, Roy had one year to warm up to prison. The Lorraine stepped in abusing the debt, to give him a hell of a time.

He's English or Welsh. In the flashback he has a typical Welsh/Southwestern English accent when he pawns his soul (sounds Welsh or Cornish to me). That's when his curse began. He travelled to America, lived with the natives for a long time, until they were massacred then he spoke to nobody for 100 years. Then integrated himself amongst Scandinavian settlers in the Mid-West, where he assumed the identity of Ole Munch (probably stolen) and clearly picked up a Scandi accent from them. He sounds very Welsh/Southwest English in his sin-eating scene though, and that's the moment he became cursed, so I think we can assume he was just some poor starving peasant from Wales/England.

Right!!!! STFU ALREADY!!! STOP WHINING!!!

There's a theory that he's not really immortal. It's just a scenario he created after he got hit in the head with a shovel by Dot, braindamaged
