      If you get one, some things to consider: If you need to get spares for the kit you will have to go direct to Lvbu in China. The UK stockists, myelectricbikeshop, said I would have to get a complete kit when I only wanted a spare battery. That is if you can get hold of this UK stockist! When I try online it says connection is not secure. The postage of battery from China is expensive too.

    Thank you for your lvbu video, very rare find indeed. Just bought my girlfriend the kd40s kit on her single speed and so far after 8 miles of extreme hills its battery indicator is at 97 percent. Love it so far.

    This is the same kit as the one I have, supplied and rebranded by a company called Easifit in UK. I have had it around one year. I have found it reasonable, quite low powered and as you go up the power scale there is not a huge difference between, say, 20 per cent and 80. It doesn't compare in any way with the power delivery from my Raleigh Felix Plus ebike but it's ok for pottering round town. I wouldn't want to use it in a hilly area.

    Did you used pass pedal sensor? How the kit can work without one? thank you

    • @philiphiggs1615
      @philiphiggs1615  Рік тому

      No Pass sensor required with this design. The system uses a gyroscope to determine whether the bike is accelerating, braking, going up hill and down hill. Power to the hub motor is determined according to the results from the gyroscope sensory feedback.

      @@philiphiggs1615 The gyroscope system is far from perfect even when calibrated correctly. Into a head wind in particular the whole system does not perform that well.

    what is the maximum speed of this kit?

    • @philiphiggs1615
      @philiphiggs1615  Рік тому

      The range is variable depending on many variables. I managed 62 miles on one battery using the system set at 50% to 65% assist. The terrain was fairly flat with a few small hills. I’d suggest expecting at least 40 miles from 1 battery in the worst conditions.

      So far I am very satisfied with the LVBU electric wheel. It’s difficult to determine the top speed. Speed is controllable using the LVBU application down loaded to your smart phone. Please look at the LVBU web site to determine the maximum speed. AT A guess I think it is approximately 20mph. It’s your choice, there are many different methods to electrify your bicycle.

      Yes the application that controls this ebike conversion kit allows you to vary the maximum speed.

      The price paid was in US dollars. I paid $360 for the KF series Waterproof Electric Cycle Conversion Kit with Battery, for a 700cc wheel.
      I paid an additional $195 for a second battery. All Purchased in July 2022.

      That's a great price. I bought one myself for £320 but without the Bluetooth display.
