Ive been playing through KCD1 again and I’m absolutely loving it. I started doing this a month or so before this was announced.
I had only done 1 playthrough before with out the dlc so this is so refreshing. I honestly never expected for this to be announced let alone released THIS YEAR.
They know how to hype their fans up. Go dark until your game is ready. Have your voice actors lie about an upcoming sequel.
I’m so ready for this game. Haven’t been this hyped for a game since RDR2.

The poor voice actors will be screwed with those names.
They´ll most probably use historical german variations of those names, or some simplified (more english-friendly) version, since they did exactly that in first game (practically all names are different in czech and would sound very unnatural in english dabbing).
Whenever castle or city ends with -berg -stein or contains double letters it's german or englishized version. If there is not ˇ hook ˇ in village name It's not Czech for sure ;)
We are getting the German names.
They should also have professional coaches with WH having more money now :)
It was part or the Holy Roman Empire so they can just use the German names. Many Germans lived in Bohemia.

By my reckoning the smaller castle could be Nebákov (close to Trosky). It matches better with some reconstructed drawings by Jan Herman compared to those of Malešov.

Naprotsto fantastická práce! Snažil jsem se sám ty lokace najít, ale tím, že tu oblast nesjpíš neznám jako ty, se mi to vůbec nedařilo. Vežický rybník je naprosto skvělej find. Odebírám a budu čekat na další videa k tomuhle tématu.
Díky moc, člověk má alespoň trochu představu nad možnou rozlohou map.

Pozor, v jedničce mapa neodpovídala zcela skutečnosti, některé části byly "zhuštěny" kvůli příběhu atd. Takže nevíme, jestli něco podobného neudělají opět.
KCD series is one of the best Czech tourism commercial in resent years, never hear these places before but I would like to take a trip there.
Both are very popular with Czech tourists but mostly unknown to international tourists so don't expect any vegan restaurants :D
The Trosky area is breathtaking in good weather but there isn't much you can do when it's raining.
Kutná Hora can be a lot more fun in bad weather so if you want to pick just one area, I'd base my decision on the weather forecast.
Close to Kuttenberg, I'd recommend the Bone church (Kostnice). Very exotic :)

I was in Kutna Hora for Sedlec Monastery in 2015 prior to all this KCD. As KCD is one of my favourite games I shall be back again, with Drone and new Kit to photograph my adventures with Henry.

I love the inconsistency of the AI pronunciaiton. Újezd is "údžezd" but "Želejov" is "želejov". Also that "pod Troskami" was suprisingly correct.

Interesting, the AI voice can chose the correct pronunciation of the "j" phoneme in "Želejov" but not in "Újezd".

I am not sure about church at 3:42 being Saint Bartholomew. Its strikingly similar to Lady at the marketplace. Mainly that black spire at the back is practicaly the same in real life as its on that picture. Unless they used Lady at the marketplace as an inspiration for Bartholomew in the game. Because I agree that church on 3:12 is matching the real position of Lady at the marketplace very well.

Hearing an AI generated voice can easily jeopardise new viewers' positive first impression of your content (it makes one immediately become sceptic as to the exact extent of how much AI was used and thus question your creative integrity), so I seriously recommend you try considering doing your own voice over; it'll help avoid a lot of the initially negative dispositions of first time viewers simply by getting rid of the artificial voice that makes one wonder whether your vids are made with real creative passion. I don't know whether its budget, time, or your personal reservations that are holding you back, but simply using your own voice is well worth it whatever the circumstance. My first hearing of the AI voice made me immediately want to click off, even though the content is genuinely useful and seems very motivated by a genuine desire to create something entertaining and informative. I hope this comment isn't too presumptuous, or whatever haha.

When you hate the English voice actor, you let him pronounce names of the villages in Czech countryside. But in all fairness, those old names were many times more mixed, sometimes different and sometimes had several name versions.

Weve heard PLENTY of this specific TTS voice over the past 3 years..... lots of us associated with garbage AI voiced and AI written 60 second UA-cam Shorts about fun history facts and things like that... but seriously, no one cares what you sound like, especially in this community, just use your real voice.

Why is your account a czech name, yet you butcher the pronounciation?
Every CH and J are wrongly pronounced. Czech language ponounces J always as ie/io/ia/iu, depending on following letter. For example, Jesus Christ, written Ježíš Kristus, is pronounced "iegeesh"
CH is harder to describe. English always pronounces it either as K or Č. Czech language pronounces is as soft or light H. Less throaty. Like laughter difference between man laughing and female giggling. HAHAHA - chichichi.
