Really good to see you are still making videos to help people.. i need to catch up on the recent ones! i hope your tea is nice .. do you like hand made cups sometimes?
i learned something new with regard to where to look while doing the waving hands... I wish the parts about how the hips move and the shifting of weight were explained more though. Thanks!
with the demonstrations of the forms and movements i think it would be most helpful for you to fully demonstrate the correct form a good amount of times, so it is clear to us how it should be correctly done, then you could show your student doing it, so you can show common errors and points to make sure of you did not show the movement for even one complete cycle by yourself..i think that would be most helfpul to ensure the best chances of accurate transmission of the style and fundamental correctness of the forms/movements please maybe a few complete cycles with the camera in front of you then a few cycles with the camera showing you from your "side" so we can see future lessons more conpletely correctly shown? please I'm very sorry if this sounds ungrateful..i really hugely appreciate your videos.. i just think it would be hugely helpful for you to show the best most correct way of doing it first..a few times, so we can model our actions on yours.. then you could show the student doing it and correct them etc and point out common errors i hope I've not been bugging saying this.. i really don't mean any disrespect at all it would be awesome to have your doing the correct forms a few times in each video, as an archive of the correct ways and a model of best form please thankyou i hope one day i could study with you best wishes from Rolland in Scotland
totally agree on this. i was getting confused with how his student was moving, not sure if he was actually doing it the way teacher Yang was teaching it.
A good teaching video in that it shows HOW to find the silk reeling movement/energy in the form.
Thank you.
Thank you for the valuable instruction Yang laoshi and Olivier!
What a great practice!
