You are welcome. I have milled loads of trees. From pine, popular, and both red and white oak. Some maples. The mill is worth every penny. Black walnut is the best. I use Ripper 7 degrees blades.

Thanks for sharing. Just received my saw and trailer. I would contact Woodland Mills regarding both issues. They're quick to respond and will likely ship replacements parts for free. Great customer service. A question how it it for stability on your property when moving?

I live on a medium to steep grade property. I normally use cookies to stabilize. I don’t have any problems pulling up or down hills. Just always pin the mill head. If in doubt use the yellow strap too. Have fun milling. Mine still starts on the second pull. Any problems Woodland Mills are great for helping you out.

Thanks for the demo. my neighbor and i have been talking about going in halves on one. The issues storage when we aren't using it. We agreed it has to be kept indoors when not in use. You have had it for a year since the video. How is it working for you?

Bee Bob The mill runs great. Besides general maintenance no major problems. When not in use I cover the motor with a tarp. It sits outside in my lower pasture all year. That’s a lot of rain and snow. I’ve built two horse barns and sided my two story house with a new porch. I’ve cut mostly pine and popular. Some red and white oak. Black walnut and cherry. The red oak goes through the blades.

@@lucasfamilyfarm5725 We've got a lot of Cherry to get milled. Something went through and killed them. We still have quite a bit of good logs left. We want furniture grade lumber for woodworking. My neighbor is a retired contractor and I'm a hobbyist wood worker. Built cabinets, islands, and things like that for my house.
Might as well keep going. My father was a wood shop teacher. When he cleared the land for the lake house he had the cherry milled. All the interior trim and cabinets are from the cherry on the lot. It's beautiful wood. As long as people don't stain it and ruin its beauty.
Thanks for replying to my comment earlier.

Is this the larger trailer? If not do you wish that you purchased the larger trailer?

I did purchase the extension later. 16 foot boards gave me more options when building.
