Be careful with the chisel, as you're stressing it too much. You're supposed to methodically and rhythmically tap the chisel very lightly with the wooden mallet to excavate the plaster, especially around the bones. You're not supposed to just roughly gouge it out. :(

Try not watching ASMR videos for a few days, even a week. Watching too many can lead to losing tingles. I've heard that advice a few times. Plus, I went on holidays for a week recently, came back to ASMR and my tingles were stronger than they had been in ages.
