- As I got myself a new Video Slider I thought it would be a good idea to create a short film just using the slider. My girlfriend is currently re-imagining / creating some film props about Marie Schönfeld. Seemed like a perfect fit.
Marie Schönfeld was an Austrian government worker who became an anti-Nazi resistance activist. She and her brother were members of a small but committed movement that favoured a Habsburg restoration. She was captured, sentenced, and beheaded at the Vienna district court.

Hey Tobi, again a great video! I have one question regarding the slider - can it be used also vertically? Btw. when I click the Amazon links (both DE and UK one) for the slider I am led to a different product.
Hiho! Yes, you can mount the slider vertically, as it has threads on each side. But i would definitely recommend to just use a sturdy tripod with a head that can be tilted and tilt the whole slider to get it vertically that way. Depending on the setup, the motor might be too weak though.
I could imagine that a slider like this would be a great fit for your review videos because the panning shots look really nice.

@@LICHTCATCHINGTOBY Thanks a lot for your answers Tobi. And here I go again with more questions 🙂 -> What is the max weight this slider can handle in vertical mode? How much does your gear weight? Also have you already successfully used this slider in vertical mode?
