not only the sheer amount of joy that exudes from this video and performance and crowd... but that coy, deeper tongue in cheek light playfullness... with thom pretending to forget the words and even you can see Phil in the background shout the next line to him (LOL it is SO clearly "whatever makes you happy!") and then you see that slight sneaky little smirk on phils face when he quickly realizes thom is just fucking around... this is legit fucking legendary. This video makes me so happy I almost cried. I Feel like you see Thom think about shaking his head like "ah fuck off" about the cheers but he won't even let himself because it's just too good a moment to do to the crowd. You can feel the rejuvenation of love in that moment. This is absolute gold and now maybe among my favorite videos ever.

This is the best song of all time and I dont care what people say. No words have ever put so well on a song and strike so close to home at the same time...this is my anthem......and Im pretty sure of many others too..

People dont say anything. Thom himself has said that he hates the song, the guitar entering the chorus was an attempt to sabotage the song, and this is the first time in 7 years they have played it. People dont say anything, the band does.
I don't think he hates in. He have said he has been seriously worried that they will be one hit band. Luckly Bends proved everyone and themselves wrong and OK Computer just put them into history of rocknroll. 'Creep' was written in specific time and place he might be not very proud of, but as many people point out, it is honest observation of being creep, being weirdo, being rejected. That's how many people felt at that time, and still do.
He doesn't 'hate it' anywhere near what people seem to think. It was more in the mid to late 90s he didn't like it because he wanted the focus on The Bends or OK Computer songs for the tours, he wanted their discography to grow and not render them to one hit wonders. By the 00's they were performing it semi-regularly, he even said in 2003 before playing it "we like this one again now".

Wonderful, is like if he has already accepted all the things that surrounded the song, its past. First of all, the song genesis, the causes of writing it, then after, his own early years, the young early days of Radiohead's start, the madness and difficulties involving their beginning careers, their ideas of being something of a different musicians, and so many beautiful things behind of this performance of embracing things that are and we cannot control...this interpretation has tracended into different else, into a different essence.

If he has sung it, probably he wants to express his love condition , but for me has sung it because musically is in peace with himself . The success that this song gave to him was not early or unmerited after all ;) , definitely he worked on his voice that in this period has become more gentle and supple ... then "run " is no longer a problem and it showed it as well . Hopefully they will be in such good form in Barcelona although Paris deserved a special performance! Good job the video !

Si, pero tienen mejores canciones, de mejores albumes. Creep no es una mala cancion, solo que comparado con cualquier otro disco (excepto tkol) tienen canciones mas competentes, y ademas esa cancion le debe tarer malas memorias, mira el concierto de pablo honey.

Thom is clearly having a laugh about it all. Being almost 50 years old and singing an angsty song like this, I bet it doesn't feel right for any of them, that's why they never perform it. They just did it so people would shut up about it for a while, because there's always that vocal minority who know almost nothing about Radiohead's discography and come to see them for Creep, and complain when they don't play it.

The whole Radiohead discography is angsty. This song is not more teenager than No Surprises or Fade Out. He hates this song just for the sake of hating the poser fans who would only go to the concerts for this song.

Claro, pero no solo es la canción, sino también la interpretación. No fue el Radiohead del 2009 que tocaron Creep porque la gente se los pedía , este es un Radiohead que quería tocarlo para elos y sus fans y creo que eso se ha notado en la interpretación.
Tienes razón, se siente mejor la canción cuando la banda desea tocarla y no cuando le "toca" tocarla ... Además tanto tiempo sin darle este manjar al publico les devio costar ¿no?
