I stopped in Friday to say hello and pick up a few things so I can attempt tying a Nancy P. Sorry you missed me but I had a good time talking with the guys in the shop who were working on getting stuff ready for the new shop in Ennis. While I'm almost 70 and fly fished my entire life I'm new to streamer fishing. I wish I had found your videos sooner but better late than never. I do have my grandsons watching your videos because, in my opinion, you are the best at teaching I've seen. You are the only one that can take a 5 minute fly and use 45 minutes teaching how to tie it. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Fellas. Listen to this man! 5 years ago I tied my very first Barely Legal, fished an insane rain storm(nobody in sight) and caught my largest brook trout. If you want to know how to catch big trout, listen up.
Thanks a lot for the great information Kelly. I was on podcast earlier today, talking about how I flyfish at night for largemouth bass, and I use black thick-headed spun deer hair flies kind of Dahlberg shape and some rubber legs to push water for lateral line. It works very well! Have a great weekend Slide Inn crew. 👍👍🎣👌

Like how he always says revert to what works because the point is too catch fish. Thats why we go. What a great guide
Kelly thank you for taking the time to teach us all. It means a lot.
Kelly is absolutely correct. Big fish in the spring and small streamers are extremely effective.
I learned a few things! Thanks Kelly.
Thank you for all your wisdom ive learned everything I know about streamer fishing and tying from you man , keep the videos coming!
Thanks for the info, see you in July once again
Thanks Kelly I'm just getting into streamer fishing so this helps a lot

Hi Kelly,
Great video as always. On average in the spring, do you find that a jerk strip is more effective, or vertical jigging?
Thanks,
David
I like to jig. Water is usually colder, fish are sluggish. ❤❤
Let's get ready to rumble!! Thnx Kelly, well done!!
Nice desk
Sound advice .
I’ll be up there at the beginning of May and will stop by to pick your brain in person… :-)
I want it all
cool
So you’re saying size matters?!?
