Brilliant in every way! Looks, concept, skill, technique for making "frames"! I love them! Thanks for posting this, you've given me some great inspiration for a gift or two! Really great stuff!
Model Magic is a type of clay that remains somewhat flexible even after its dry. I’ve found it works very well for round surfaces. I bought mine at Walmart.
Thank you so much Debra! 😃I used plain printing paper and I printed it on a laser printer (the only one I had with ink at that moment) Inkjet works too!
Love these! Thanks for your tutorial! Very easy to follow and beautiful ornaments! Question: can air dry clay be used or does it need to be modeling clay? Im not experienced with clay but i have a few molds I'd like to try this with, but only have air dry clay.
I discovered this type of ornament making last yr & fell in love w it. U can do as many techniques(painting, molds, etc) as u want & they're so beautiful. I use wood glue on mine, but I see u used hot glue. Does that hold up very well over time? I struggled w the clay last yr like crazy! I used 3 different brands & had trouble w shapes not coming out or had other issues. Used baking powder(everything! lol) too. I'll have to try letting mine sit longer in the molds before taking out. Thxs for sharing!
Can you PLEASE tell me where you found those images? I have looked but can’t find? Please help me. My Mom is 89 and very sick. I think these balls would make her happy if I made them for her!
Hi Tami, I'm so sorry, I did these last year and don't remember where I got them. But if you do a search for "vintage christmas" or "victorian christmas" you should be able to get something, ❤️
I have watched so many of these videos about how to do this and yours is easily the most simple to follow, with beautiful results. thanks so much.
Thank you so much for that Joanne! 🥰

These are beautiful, and your instructions on how to make them were very clear. Thanks for sharing!
I really appreciate you cutting the music off while you’re talking. Sometimes people don’t, and it makes it harder to focus on what’s being said.
Love vintage, beautifully done
Thank you! 😊

Love your ornaments- what is the gold that you applied to the clay after you molded it and attached it to the ornament. Thank you

Your ornaments are lovely! Did you print the images on plain printing paper? Did you use an inkjet printer or a laser printer?

Is the metallic wax similar to Rub n buff?
It is 😊
What is the clay and paint you use for the framing?
She used Das. I really like activa super lightweight clay.
