Doug was always relatable because of how the show depicts his fears and his dreams, especially when you’re shy. It was always like Hey Arnold meets Arthur with its down to earth relatability, but it was basically overshadowed by other shows at the time. Doug and Futurama are also why Billy West is one of my favorite voice actors.
As I was binging Doug, I just happened to notice that the main character sounds a lot like Phillip J. Fry due to them having the same actor. My dad noticed that too.
People say Doug wasn’t as successful but Doug was big enough to make the jump over to Disney and for a good number of years had a attraction at Disney world
I feel that Doug is a show that falls in the "Seinfeld Syndrome." It's a show that is nowadays seen as cliché thanks to other slice of life shows that followed it that did the concept slightly better. It's one of those shows that you really have to have a certain perspective on it to really enjoy the show. At first glance, the show would definitely come off as boring, but while I will admit that the show can get a little boring sometimes, this show is a lot deeper than many people give it credit for. One thing that makes the show so good is that even though the plots are simple, the morals behind them are highly underrated. For example, the episode where Doug has the babysit Skeeter's little brother is a typical babysitter plot, but the moral behind it is executed perfectly. Doug's been trying to take advice from others who had more babysitting experience, and he realizes that his only flaw regarding his babysitting job is listening to others rather than himself. This episode teaches us that while it's great to ask for help from others, there are times where you just need to listen to your gut more and do things your way. That's a moral that we all need to learn even to this day. As for Doug as a character, most people who call him a bland character are missing the point. Doug was not supposed to be an interesting character. He was deliberately written as an average everyman surrounded by a quirkier, more colorful cast. Rocko and Arnold were written the same way in their respective roles, and they both grew to be some of the most likable protagonists. Doug was a well-behaved kid who, while not without his flaws, was good at heart and always admitted his wrongs and did whatever he could to fix them. He never whined about how he had it bad and just learned to deal with the consequences when he would do wrong. That's what makes him a likable protagonist. If anything, Doug being "boring" is a good thing. Because it's basically a reflection of how many children's normal life is: nothing special happening, just a simple day, etc. That's why the show was backed up with Doug's wild imaginations and quirks. It wasn't the first slice of life show, but it was the very first slice of life cartoon that focused on a regular kid going through regular kid issues, and that's why while I don't expect a lot of people to like this show, they should still respect this cartoon for the influence it had and still has on other slice of life cartoons that followed it.
Billy West is voicing the narrator in the Quail Man segment as well as voicing Doug himself. The sort of thing I can notice due to watching Futurama and knowing how many characters he voices there! I always thought it was funny that even in his imagination, Doug's superhero outfit consists of things like wearing underpants on the outside of his regular pants, a towel for a cape, and a belt on his head to be a headdress reminiscent of a quail's plume.
Ah heck yes, finally someone else who knows of Doug! None of my childhood friends liked this show but it was one of my absolute favorites. I got to meet Jim Jenkins and his wife a few times late 2022/early 2023 and they are such nice warm and nice people. It was totally surreal but immediately took me back to elementary school days going to the video rental store and begging my mother to take home the “Doug’s First Movie” VHS. I watched a couple episodes recently and realized just how relatable that show was as a kid.

Doug and Hey Arnold were ahead of their time because of their down to earth content without showing unrealistic storytelling. Your opinion near the end if this has modified our brains growing may be true in a sense, but social anxiety has always been real, in different forms at least. I think Doug's content was trying to make us more aware of the things we will encounter as we get older. Doug tried to find a solution with his friends going to Roger's but went to action because he could not stand alone and do nothing. I think his friends understood that about Doug. He wouldn't just stand by if there was such a dramatic behavior shift in his peers and eventually his curiosity would get the best of him. It was perfect planning on their part to surprise him. Doug was also the most creative kid in the early 90s Nicktoons, and I would not be surprised if he grew up to be a content creator himself.
Nickelodeon's Doug was the cartoon I watched countless times as a kid, albeit in reruns (Disney's, I barely watched at all). I have the first three seasons on DVD. Season 4 is missing two episodes for some reason. The show did get a complete collection a couple years later. Roger was unique in that he was more of a nuisance than a true bully. Doug even points this out in the episode Doug Saves Roger. One of my favorites. Mr Bone's nephew, Percy Femur, gets transferred to their school, and it soon becomes clear that, unlike Roger, Percy is a true bully. Often resorting to physical threats, and warning Roger not to tell anyone, OR ELSE. When Doug intervenes, Percy turns his attention to Doug instead, threatening to clobber him after school if he doesn't show up. Roger merely teases Doug, never actually trying to start a fight or resort to physical violence.
In a way, Doug was kind of the Nickelodeon version of King of the Hill: more subdued, less flashy art style, with the focus on finding the odd situations in the mundane everyday world as opposed to a quirky, seizure-inducing environment like Ren and Stimpy, with the central character usually being the reactor instead of the actor and leaving the quirkiness to the more colorful characters around him. **ALSO ROGER KLOTZ HAD A MASSIVE CRUSH ON DOUG THERE I SAID IT*
@@KyleRDent I recall episodes of the show where Doug would enlist in something like ballet or some committee, and Roger would just show up even though he would otherwise never be there, and even one time leaving his cat with Doug while he went away. He tried to sit next to Doug on the ferris wheel when the entire episode made the act of sitting next to someone on the wheel a romantic gesture. Roger definitely wanted to top Doug.
90s bullies were really obsessive with their targets. Basically following them around to bullying them and stuff. Roger was very much the archetypical bully, even if deep down wanted to be friends with Doug.
@AarturoSc perhaps But I do remember a scene where Doug and Roger were sitting in front of a fire, burning some old embarrassing tapes, and then Roger said "Hos don't make me ride you around the room.." When I was little it was funny When I was older, I was.😮 It was the episode where Doug's aunt came to visit him. And made him go to kiddy show that was really embarrassing.
I liked watching Doug as a kid. This episode was pretty cool too. In fact, I remember one episode about Mr. Dink trying to catch a fish he named Chester and Doug helps him. Speaking of Quailman, I used to make comics of my superhero in 7th and 8th grade. Nowadays, I'm not a good artist but I can think of decent ideas with inspiration. I had a bunch of different characters like dinosaurs and metal snakes until I scrapped them for new ones. Like only one 6ft dinosaur who befriends a woman and her adopted daughter while fighting his first supervillain and learning to control a strong but dangerous superpower. Glad you uploaded on my birthday today! Thanks, Shawne! Oh, I just want to say that you are doing great reviewing cartoons and I can't wait to see more of your stuff.
That episode always bothered me. If Doug hadn't gone over to confront them about what was going on, they would have all just had a party without Doug. He wasn't invited or expected to be there at all.
@MissShembre it looked like everything was set up, everyone was there, and no one was headed out, so I'm guessing that they weren't planning on inviting him. It all seems so bizarre when it could have been fixed with any of his friends showing up after he's done with the comic and a simple "come with me, I want to show you something."
yea its a party for him so it'd be weird if they didnt go get him maybe they were gonna but he came over to Roger's before they could lol@@roleplayer5564
I loved Doug growing up. It depicted a regular young man who wished he could do amazing things. We've all been there, we've all had a grade school girl we had a major crush on but were just too nervous to tell her.
i loved this show, as a kid i hated roger but as a adult rewatching the show i feel like roger isnt a bad kid he's just misunderstood he's in poverty so he probably gets mocked for living in a trailer, therefor he uses comedy as a way to cope. basically if roger picked on you he liked you.
maybe in a sense being picked on was his form of communication and being part of the group and even appearing tough to avoid being bullied. his way of ensuring himself from being isolated elevates himself above everyone else. a counter balance to self doubt. over time his conscience knew deep down he could win them over as friends because he was genuinely good at heart. the tough image could also be from possible family abuse and hidden issues from the past.
I always hated when shows and PSAs preached to me about healthy eating, like this episode or Gopher Cakes. Screw you, Big Brother. If I want to eat a bag of chips or my friends and I want to get together once in a while to put off-brand Ding Dongs in a blender, we’ll do it if we damn well please. And therein lied part of the problem: their message was ineffective most of the time because the thing they were wagging their finger at always looked better than the alternative they offered. Who wants to eat a raw beet like it’s an apple?
Man, I haven't thought about this show in a while. I remember liking it as a kid... never could get into Disney's version, it just didn't feel right. You picked an interesting episode to feature. It's a good one, though my own reflections are somewhat different. I used to see this plotline quite a bit in kids' shows growing up. "Why are my friends avoiding me? Are they not my friends anymore? ... Wait, it's okay - they're just throwing me a surprise party!" As a kid, I thought it was kind of lazy that the resolution always involved a blatant misunderstanding, usually with a surprise party reveal. It was fine, but boring. As an adult... this hits me differently, and not for the better. I struggled to make and keep friends as I got older. I didn't know how to deal with bullies or navigating difficult social situations, so I just learned to withdraw and hide when I felt vulnerable. Being alone as an adult can be its own nightmare. Life with a family may have its challenges, but at least you know you have loved ones that care about you. Being alone... all you have is yourself - and just getting out there and meeting people, you're not guaranteed to meet anyone that will accept or even like you. Ah well... either way, it's nice to see this show get some positive recognition. Thanks for covering it =)
I don't think media like this made us anxious and stuff, I think it wss more a show reflecting on a real issue that effects kids, rather than making up a scenario to mold anxiety into us.
Ur videos make me feel warm and nostalgic. Love ur content. Can’t believe u only have 100k subs which is a lot but I would think u would like a million the way you put so much effort on each video
I'm pretty sure beets were meant to parody Popeye eating spinach before he wollops his foes. Perhaps the gag went off the wall but I think they were trying to make fun of those corny health messages in kids shows.
So glad I clicked this video!! Great job man!! Any chance you could do “Doug’s Lost Weekend”? I think that’s the title. It’s the one where he wins a video game system and blows off a school assignment. That episode really hit for me as I would do that quite a lot in the 90’s😁
I’m from Brazil and I found your channel by accident. And I so glad that it happens. It became onde of my top 5 favourite channels and the best one about cartoons I’ve seen around my years on internet. It’s so good how good vibes and melancholic (at times) your work is all st the same time. And really is good as a person with a disability (low vision) and depression to see a comfortable place to hear something about what your feeling without knowing sometimes. That’s how I fell around here
I was thinking about Roger Klotz and while he was a foil for Doug, he never was evil. He was more of a harmless pain in the butt compared to real bullies. He is always playing pranks on people and poking fun at them. We all knew that kid, his antics were funny yet at the same time annoying when you were on the receiving end of said antics.
Being 34 years old and to this day Doug was always my favorite classic Nicktoon✨️. Never liked the Disney version didn't have this certain charm unlike Nick's version, I had a flashback at my old house which was literally next door to my elementary school. My bedroom, the smell, all my toys and video games I haven't thought about my childhood in years. So thank you for bringing back my innerchild about this show. It was always a good life lesson as kids to show how much kindness and learning mistakes early on shapes us as adults today...even though I'd rather eat cereal and watch morning cartoons any day. Okay I'm rambling, good content.🌿🌟
Doug was a bit before my time, I was born in 1995 & i definitely remember watching reruns when I was a kid. I remember liking it, but i would much rather be watching hey Arnold, wild Thornberries, as told by ginger, rugrats, the first few seasons of SpongeBob, etc. it was the kind of thing I would watch if it was on but I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it, if that makes sense. Also, I love that you mentioned that the voice of Patty Mayo was the same person as yoga jones in orange is the new black. The first time I watched Orange, it was bothering me so much that I had to look it up lol. She used the exact same voice as she did for Patty too.
One of my favorite episodes of Doug has to do with Video Game Addiction. Doug wins a new game console and becomes so obsessed with finishing the sci-fi shooter game that came with the console that he starts to neglect his sleep schedule and schoolwork because of it. Another one of my favorites is about Body Image where after Doug spent a weekend at his grandmother's, he finds out he gained a few pounds, which makes him worry about how others view him and those worries only get worst when he gets invited to a pool party a BeeBee's Mansion.
I'll never understand why so many people hate Disney's Doug when it's the same thing w/ few changes (all by Jim Jinkins & not Disney btw). But that's just me... and a few others.
I've always wondered, even when I was a kid: What exactly was their plan if Doug didn't show up on his own. Were they just going to party without him? Was someone supposed to bring him at a particular time, but couldn't find him and got left out?
The episode I have ingrained in my head was one about Skeeter moving and he gives Doug and unbreakable comb before leaving. That's all I really remember, but it was Grave of the Fireflies level sad to 6 year old me.
My dad used to chase me around the house saying "zombie chips" I didn't get it until I saw this episode and it became my favorite instantly. This and the Think Big episode.
This and Rugrats were my two favorite Nickelodeon story. I always wondered if Roger was really more of a friend than bully to Doug. There are other episodes where the two interact and are not necessarily evil.
Aw, man, I remember Doug pretty well. Thanks to watching TV with Closed Captions on (I remember things better when I READ them), I still remember Skeeter's roast of Quailman. "I'd rather kiss a moving train than spend an afternoon with YOU, Frail-man!" Even to this day, that's funny to me.
You know this show had this obession on beets, natures candy. I'm not surprised this episode was a PSA about eating healthy snacks and avoiding junk food. THis is one of my favorite shows, one of my favorite episodes is Dougs Got No gift wher ehe made a gift for Patty because he spent the money playing a ivdoegame and the homemade gift paid off at the end :) Hypnotism always scared me because you're cutting and arearranging someones thoughts and uncovering whats bene re[ressed or hidden this whole time. Roger is the oddest character of the show because he ALWAYS bullies Doug for some reason and yet they end up being friends, makes you think 💭💭
Doug and Rocko's Modern Life are my favorite Nicktoons and my go-to Nicktoons as well, with Hey Arnold, The Angry Beavers and Real Monsters following closely. Also Doug moving from Nickelodeon to Disney is something I'll never stop unseeing!!
I was born in 1995, so by the time I was old enough to be watching Nickelodeon cartoons regularly, this show was barely ever on the air. Nickelodeon would air an episode or two every once in a while, but then stopped in 2002-2003. I don't remember how it happened, but right around late 2006, when I had just turned 11, I somehow rediscovered the show and became absolutely obsessed. I related to it so much. The problem was, in that time period, there really was no way to actually watch Nickelodeon's Doug. Streaming wasn't a thing, and there were no official DVD releases. So I had to teach myself how to safely use torrents in order to pirate the show. I watched the show in bed on my iPod basically every night throughout middle school. My favorite episodes were, and still are, Doug Bags a Neematoad, Doug Gets His Ears Lowered, Doug's Mayor For A Day, Doug's Monster Movie, Doug & Patti Sitting In a Tree (I related a LOT with this one in middle school!) and Doug's Lucky Hat (mostly for the music). It took YEARS of fans begging for Nickelodeon to finally give us a DVD release, then put the show on streaming services years later. So yeah. I'll always have a soft spot for this show. Hey Arnold came along later on and had a similar formula to Doug but kinda eclipsed it in every way, so it remains the more popular show to this day. I get it, but it's still unfortunate.
Okay, so some glaring questions about the plot of this episode. 1. Why is the school bully hosting the anniversary party? 2. It was just happenstance that Doug decided to confront Roger about everyone hanging out with him. What was the plan to get Doug to show up? Were they just counting on waiting for him to show up on his own time than taking their hiding spots when they saw he was at the door? That said, Quailman is under-rated. Daydreaming is pretty relatable and it sort of inspired me to make up my own superhero called Animalman who has the powers of, well, every animal, and BTW I think superheroes, for all the batman and spiderman, really under-use the awesome powers of actual animals . . . But that's a whole other tangent.
I love these nostalgia trips man. Keep it up. Can you do more As Told By Ginger. I literally rewatched the whole series and holy crap does this show get deep. The episode "A lesson in tight ropes" was an episode that literally drew tears from my eyes. Like I relived my own similar experiences with romantic relationships with this episode and then what happened next to ginger is just wow so surreal. Never have I ever been so on the edge of my seat with a cartoon than this episode. No spoilers but you're probably going to want a box of tissues if you haven't seen it.
For those that haven't seen As Told By Ginger please don't watch this episode out of sequence. It's a series defining episode and though it might not feel like it with some episodes. As told by Ginger does build on itself with some major continuity milestones. If you watch this video out of sequence you'll really regret doing so as you won't feel the full gravity of the episode otherwise. It's like watching the middle of book 3 in Avatar the last Airbender. Sure you'll get that the Fire Lord is bad, and Azula is crazy. But you won't understand how huge and significant it is for Aang to learn fire bending from Zuko and why Ty Lee and May turning on Azula is a really big deal. Shoot you'll think Toph is just there for comedic relief and be constantly wondering why she can metal bend but Aang who can bend all the elements can't.
I actually saw As Told By Ginger when i was a little older…as a teenager, way too old probably to be watching cartoons. However, I absolutely related to it. I liked the cartoon format and that they weren’t afraid to get real. It ended tooo sooon to be honest. I wish they kept it going!!! Some episodes also dont connect quite right if you know what i mean and there are some videos on UA-cam about that. I think the writers were somewhat restricted to what drama they could create and probably didnt know how to quite wrap things up.
"6 year old in the year 2000". Wait, were you also born in '94? That might explain how your videos cover topics that I relate with a lot~ I loved this era of cartoons and still like to revisit them from time to time. And yeah, I can relate with the feeling of losing my friends, especially in middle school when everyone was going through changes and just abandoning me. I honestly feel it had left me with attachment issues growing up.
DuskTillShawn you seem like a good person and it's not surprising you'd have a lot of friends. i also had a lot of friends growing up but many friendships during your childhood like school, camp, town etc people graduate, move, etc but then again you can make new friends.
Doug was my first exposure to “slice of life” as a young kid. You can probably trace my affinity for shows like King of the Hill, etc. right back to Doug. It was just a wholesome, entertaining, comforting chronicle of a young kid’s life with GREAT music, front to back. There’s a certain “everything is gonna be ok” that washes over you when you hear Doug’s theme song.

❤❤i agree
@AarturoSc perhaps
But I do remember a scene where Doug and Roger were sitting in front of a fire,
burning some old embarrassing tapes, and then Roger said "Hos don't make me ride you around the room.."
When I was little it was funny
When I was older, I was.😮
It was the episode where
Doug's aunt came to visit him. And made him go to kiddy show that was really embarrassing.
I used to like Doug a lot until Disney took it over.
Seriously, Disney RUINED this show lol.
The doug movie was pretty good in my opinion
@@anthonykolb8083they have a movie?
@raemmelparker9012 ya it's called Doug's first movie
@@anthonykolb8083 oh are they making a second one
I saw the premire back in 1991 i had just turned 12 and doug was 11 in the first show run im 44 now i still love this good series
I'll be 37 this month and I totally forgot about this episode. All of a sudden, old memories rushed back in.
I'm always happy to see you post a new video that reminds me of my childhood.
Nice! Haven’t seen you cover Doug yet I’m looking forward to watching this
Hope you like it! :) Thanks for watching
@@DuskTillShawn it was dope! Never seen this episode and it was nice learning about it
That episode always bothered me. If Doug hadn't gone over to confront them about what was going on, they would have all just had a party without Doug. He wasn't invited or expected to be there at all.
I was thinking the same thing. Were they going to send someone to get him?
Watched this while it aired, was my favorite show EVER. I'm 37 and I still watch it now..
i loved this show, as a kid i hated roger
but as a adult rewatching the show i feel like roger isnt a
bad kid he's just misunderstood he's in poverty so he probably gets mocked for
living in a trailer, therefor he uses comedy as a way to cope.
basically if roger picked on you he liked you.
I like him too.
maybe in a sense being picked on was his form of communication and being part of the group and even appearing tough to avoid being bullied. his way of ensuring himself from being isolated elevates himself above everyone else. a counter balance to self doubt. over time his conscience knew deep down he could win them over as friends because he was genuinely good at heart. the tough image could also be from possible family abuse and hidden issues from the past.
Breaking bones and crushing skulls.
@@RogueT-Rex8468 Huh?
Man, I haven't thought about this show in a while. I remember liking it as a kid... never could get into Disney's version, it just didn't feel right.
You picked an interesting episode to feature. It's a good one, though my own reflections are somewhat different.
I used to see this plotline quite a bit in kids' shows growing up. "Why are my friends avoiding me? Are they not my friends anymore? ... Wait, it's okay - they're just throwing me a surprise party!"
As a kid, I thought it was kind of lazy that the resolution always involved a blatant misunderstanding, usually with a surprise party reveal.
Thanks for covering it =)
You’re my favorite cartoon reviewer on UA-cam! Keep up the great work!
Nickelodeons Doug was still on television in the year 2000? Wow. I watched it when I was 6 also but that was in 93.
YYYYYYAAAAAASSSSS Idk why I am so hyped for this one, but Shawn, I'm hyped
The hype is realllllll!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for watching :D
Halloween season is around the corner! I can't wait to see what content you have in the works!
My first Halloween video of the season is October 1st! You won’t wanna miss it, I promise.
Unironically, we had the best cartoons back then, they could be surprisingly dark and well-written.
Love your channel! Hope all is well with your dad 🥰
YOU BROKE MY GRILL??! YOU BROKE MY GRIIIIIILL???!!
I always wonder what wound of happened if Doug never went over to Roger’s trailer. It didn’t look like anyone was going to get him.
*SERVICE THE CHAIR, DOUGLATH. IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE!!*
How low can you go porkchop! That’s the scene I always remember
She used the exact same voice as she did for Patty too.
honestly i love that episode of Doug as Quailman
One of my favorite episodes of Doug has to do with Video Game Addiction. Doug wins a new game console and becomes so obsessed with finishing the sci-fi shooter game that came with the console that he starts to neglect his sleep schedule and schoolwork because of it. Another one of my favorites is about Body Image where after Doug spent a weekend at his grandmother's, he finds out he gained a few pounds, which makes him worry about how others view him and those worries only get worst when he gets invited to a pool party a BeeBee's Mansion.
dougs theme song was fire haha glad you're back bro
I will never understand why so many people hate this show.
same here
I'll never understand why so many people hate Disney's Doug when it's the same thing w/ few changes (all by Jim Jinkins & not Disney btw). But that's just me... and a few others.
I've always wondered, even when I was a kid:
What exactly was their plan if Doug didn't show up on his own.
You’re dad was old enough when the show was around?
@@reimeiohcreatorforhire I'm confused.
@@aliyamarah7796 I meant if you’re dad was around the age when Doug first came out to watch it?
@@reimeiohcreatorforhire lol oh he was born in 87. We have VHS tapes that have Doug, Ren &Stimpy, and Aahhh real monsters!!.
Jesus
I was born around that time
I think my hair might be turning grey
I love hearing you talk about cartoons so much!! Your voice is so kind and calming to me.
14:47 I think Doug also had another episode involving evil snacks - specifically with this addictive snack called Nic Nacs
This whole town worshipped beets. They had a band named The Beets, a candy beets...beet allergies..
A lot of people don't like Doug anymore, or at least not publicly.. a lot more young people do now, which is good for the series.
I loved Doug I was that awkward elementary kid always in my head. Could definitely relate to him.
This brings back so many good memories ❤ Loved this episode! ty for this video!
I watched the whole nick series last month so this video is perfect timing id love to see more doug related videos
i gotta say this about Roger: even though he picked on Doug he also cared about him as well and was still an important part of their friend group.
@@oooh19 Shawn could do a whole video focusing on Roger
ONE OF THE BEST CARTOON THAT I'VE WATCHED! Thanks Nick ❤️
i like the vídeo too man, thank you!
I had the same reaction to Doug as a kid and I don’t can’t recall many episodes but I remember really liking quailman/dog episodes
Damn dude. I needed you in high school. Thank you for being there for the rest of us ♥️🤟🏼
I’ve always wondered if Billy West sings the do-do-do-do-do-do theme song
Omg this just unlocked a childhood memory. I liked doug but i was too young to really be a big fan, i just liked the intro music.
I'm excited to watch doug's halloween this october. Part of my yearly watch list.
Yes! Lets Gooooo! Thank you very much!
Thank you for being here! :)
Classic Nicktoons and Cartoon Network will forever be unmatched
When disney took over Doug it was not the same. The Halloween doug original series was the best.
What if Doug never decided to go to Roger's? How long were they waiting for him?
Roger might be the most interesting character in Doug. XD
This video is 🔥🔥
I love these nostalgia trips man.
Praise be the UA-cam Algorithm. Who knew a giraffe could think so deeply about Doug of all cartoons. I am actually very impressed with this video.
as i quote doug when he hit patty in the nose with his nose lol: FORGIVE MEEEE XD doug had some problems lol
To bad they sold Doug to disney
No one talks about Doug enough it feels like the forgotten child of Nic, Thank You
Blame Disney for that.
Just discovered your channel and u have a good uniqueness to u and I love how u talk about shows I grew up with! Very nostalgic! Keep up the good work!
Hearing the Quailman theme brings back the best memories.
Doug was one of my favorites to watch as a kid.
I REMEMBER THIS EPISODE. Doug was such a classic.
As a kid with social anxiety, the secondhand cringe i got watching Doug totally ruined it for me lol
Great video.
When is the next Dark Side episode airing? I need my “Hey Arnold” fix
Doug is the most normal nicktoon. Also I STILL have a Doug McDonald's key chain from their first (and ONLY!) movie!
I’d say Doug does the formula better than All Grown Up
Idk why this has so few views 4d after posting. Very well put together imo. Quail man is my Halloween costume.
Ayyyyy lorna shore !!! Great vid as always !! (:
