I got laser hair removal 20 yrs ago. It was the best money spent. I had to go 6 times for each area of treatment. The hair follicles grow in different cycles. That's why not all are damaged to prevent growth on the 1st treatment. They thin out with each session. I couldn't tan. It works on the hair contrast to one's skin. Dark hair is easier to treat vs white grey hair. My legs are still baby smooth.
When I first moved to the UK, the only thing that helped me from constantly being cold was Chinese medicine and acupuncture. I did both needles and herbs, so I'm not entirely sure which helped the most, but it definitely solved the issue.

They say that meditation helps, and listening to your calming voice certainly is meditative so I guess it makes sense. If I ever needed a reason to watch your videos daily, I guess I found it.

As someone with PCOS I'm terrified that IPL will make hair grow back worse, which is a very rare but existing side effect. Will be interesting to see how you go in a month
I use an IPL machine called the Philips lumea, and I've used it on a friend who has PCOS as well, and I've done 6 treatments and so far, her results are exactly like mine, meaning we don't get much hair growth at all, and I'm talking like it after shaving smooth the entire month, and what grows back has been either me missing a spot or it's extremely fine hairs.
From what I gather from the Philips website, the IPL seems to turn the hair follicles off, and once the follicle I'd zapped, as long as you do the treatments when you're supposed to, the follicle won't grow hair, which is what i and my friend are personally seeing. She does have more hair growth coming back than I do, because of the PCOS, but it is extremely sparse and takes a long time to even grow out of the skin, she went from shaving daily to shaving once a month before using the IPL.
It can be an expense but I will never look back, I love having smooth skin for a month instead of a day or two at the most.
