- Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
▶ a frontal impact test where 50% of the width of the car strikes an oncoming deformable barrier, travelling at 50 km/h
▶ a frontal impact test where the car impacts a full-width rigid barrier
▶ a side impact test where a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door
▶ a pole test where the car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole and the robustness of the centre airbag is evaluated
▶ a whiplash test performed on a sled.
A series of pedestrian tests are also conducted with different impactors : adult and child head form, lower and upper leg form. As well as AEB pedestrian and cyclist tests. In 2023 a test scenario for Cyclist Dooring Prevention was introduced.
Active safety is rated based on the performance of the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking car-to-car and car-to-motorcycle scenarios, occupant status monitoring (including seatbelt reminders, fatigue, distraction and impairment), lane support and speed assistance technologies.

Sure, I wish it were so much better than this but these are still good results for a car under $30,000. It's a Compact SUV after all. Not a D Segment car.

The vehicles of these recent years have hazard lights turned on in case of a tough crash or in case of an emergency brake
So the occupants get notified they crashed, duh

Because most Chinese cars are electric cars, electric cars are highly safe thanks to the super hard battery.
@tekiquang3995 think about what you wrote. Battery is placed in the floor and it is very heavy, which means lots of stress comes to the front and A pillars. It's not so simple. Check new hyundai kona, 4 stars. Bcose it's ICE platform and battery stucked in it - more deformation, poor and cheap engineering
