Mac Tools New Macsimizer HD Toolbox is on the truck this week and we take a very in depth look at this box and some of the features of it. Pretty unique box with the built in locker and latches. Each drawer is capable of holding 400 lbs per drawer. It was some unique drawer layouts and designs. We cover it all. Take a look at this one and check this HUGE box out!

Beautiful box....Mac has always made some giant boxes ever since the release of the Macsimizer about 15 years ago. I've always liked the height of the double and triple bank boxes......but what stole the show was Clay and the "thats so you can cook ya up some spaghetti and drain the noodles with the drawers"!!! That really cracked me up🤣
I got rid of my Milwaukee 2767 and got a MAC high torque impact. Works great and no battery problems! Milwaukee batteries are JUNK!!!!

The holes are to attach the dividers to the drawer bottom. This helps the dividers stay flat and support the bottom of the drawer. Vidmar lista and all other high density storage units have this design.

I ordered this box with hutch, side drawers, and side cabinets back in October. So far I have only gotten the chest, itself (around 6 months later). Love the box, but man they take a long time to make.

Stanley owns Mac. Stanley owns vidmar and lista. That’s a vidmar box with a locker and Mac logos on it. You can add dividers and attach them with screws via all the holes. All vidmars are 27.5” or 28-1/2” deep and the usable drawer dimensions are 25.5” and 26.5” respectively. Vidmars and lista boxes are super heavy, and super heavy duty meant for machine shop tooling that weighs 4x what hand tools weigh. Looks like Mac incorporated a new latch mechanism in the drawer pulls. The one drawer at a time locking mechanism is also vidmar and lista. As long as it doesn’t cost 30k, that box will literally last you a lifetime.
I lined my shop with vidmar and lista cabinets and have well over 400lbs per drawer of nuts, bolts, hardware, shackles, chains, etc.

@@etchosts8162 Stanley is the largest tool company in the world. They own lots of high quality brands such as: Proto, MAC, Lista, Vidmar, Dewalt, and Facom. They also own some mid-range brands such as Bostich and Lennox. Vidmar cabinets will outlive your grandkids, and as someone who uses them every day I can immediately tell that this box is more Vidmar than MAC.

I believe the holes are for the dividers that go in there , you use a very short sheet metal screw to hold them down

Wright boxes are snap on classics. Wright wrenches are the best on the market, that no one knows about. I wish Wright would invest into retail outlets and tool trucks instead of just industrial tools. I live right down the road from them.

You should solicit for video footage and pictures of squatted trucks for a compilation video so us folks can see what ya'll are talking about LOL only trucks you see around here with a squat are baja trucks where the suspension is built for moving quick in rough terrain. Thats about where my extreme tools box stands is at the 43" mark, something I like about having a taller box is I use it for working on parts so its nice having them sitting up closer to your eyes, another thing I like about it is you can open 2 drawers at once I have one drawer I use as a hiding work bench so when I need extra space I just pull out the drawer and work from it since I have the 3 full length drawers.
Those trucks are so stupid looking (squatted ones) they look like a dog dragging his ass !

That’s a big, ole box! As king Solomon correctly stated in Ecclesiastes there’s nothing new under sun; this fad of lifting the front of the vehicle was done back in 60s.
Never saw the front lifted, we lifted the rear in moonshiners rake, with the right shocks you could good weight transfer off the line.

Dwalt tool and husky box
The new Mac maximizer HD box is probably a good quality but there a few problems
1) it just a parts cabinets on wheels with Mac logos stuck on it.
2) I get there going for a modular design but the main box is way too short.
3) dose not have all full length drawer the main box is already short of overall length then they cut the drawer up O and you can get more short drawers cuz that everybody needs.

I've had to do that to trucks at work and hated it years ago I worked at a shop and we would lift the truck into monster trucks that's ok work I did learn how to extend and balance drive shafts on a metal lathe

That is a Lista box with the Mac name on it. The roller draw slides will wear out in less than a year.
Had Lista road boxes in our service truck for years never had to replace any thing on them they were a beast of a box
