On of my favorite ratchets is the snap on FM70 (no longer made) 3/8 drive on their 1/4" frame. I love that little ratchet and have put way more torque on it than it was ever designed to have.
Meaning I will be buying one of these.

I was impressed with these reviews of Nepros ratchets. I liked the compact head design. I looked them up and found that the ratchets alone are nearly $200. It is absolutely not worth it to me to spend that much on a single tool. I am sure they are great tools, but I just don't have that kind of money. If I needed one of the specialty ratchets to get a job done and the cost of the tool didn't completely wipe out my profit on the job, I might consider one. But I haven't found myself in that position just yet.

It appears you could purchase the repair kit for these ratchets and put it into the 1/4" rachets head such as the nbr290. They are both listed as 22mm in diameter and 11mm in depth on KTC's website. The only difference i can see between the repair kits for the 1/4" and the 3/8" COMPACT is that the anvil is bigger. The pawl and all the other internal pieces appear identical.

I’ve had Nepros for months but they are much smoother than tool truck ratchets. They are better balanced and the chrome is much nicer. They are truly top quality ratchets

@Jacks Journale lots of mechanics in Japan love snap on. They use their ratchets and sockets all the time. Snap on tool boxes with custom color ways is nothing new there. Seems as if you are bias to your own home country. Japanese mechanics never complain about warranty or about pricing with "imported" tools from America. I see your comments all the time. All I ever see is you sucking off snap on mac and matco. They are undoubtedly great tool companies that sell tools made from over seas with a marked up tag.

Like the previous comment the price is crazy expensive I’ll go to snap on or mac you got to really love ratchets to spend that kind of money I’d be scared to use it and scratch it lo l

Wow those are pricey. Most expensive 3/8 ratchets ive seen. Even more than my snap on 3/8 long handle flex head. Sweet ratchets tho

They have a nice finish but the mechanics inside didn't impressed me much! The quick release doesn't work clean an the bag drag is much over the Ko-ken Zeal ratchets that are much better in my opinion an even my Stahlwille I like better.

Man there are a lot of haters, yea there are tools similar to this that will work just fine, however I never saw nepros as a brand of tool you would just buy to buy, you had to search for them and be willing to wait to get them, there are a lot of foreign brands like this that arent as well known and make crazy good quality tools that arent or the average guy, they are for the tool nerd like Clay or someone like myself or someone who really appreciates the finer details, and like anything those finer details come at a cost

    • @KoonTrucking

There’s a reason they never advertise their products. They sell themselves. They are top quality and obviously you pay for that. But until someone sees them in person they won’t understand the value.

Somebody needs to show the Japanese how much less they could sell these tools for if it weren't for the packaging. Think about how many more ratchets they could get into a shipping container if they put them all in plastic bags instead of jewelry boxes. ;-)
