- Judge Chutkan issued a scheduling order setting deadlines for both the prosecutors and Trump's lawyers. This can allow prosecutors to release new evidence against Trump to be released before the Nov. 5 election.

And as much as I hear people like Harry and his associates at MeidasTouch say otherwise, Trump is still going to end up getting a stay in this case or else appealing a part of it, to get a stay and drag it all out till after the November election.
It seems that all in the judiciary have now adopted the mantra that one man's political ambition is more important that having justice seen to be held to.
Chutkan may be having some moments where she is slapping back at motions and requests from the Trump team attorneys, but I know that this is all going to end up with her being appealed (again).
Despite what the Supreme Court said (in her needing to get to the bottom of the argument of Presidential Immunity), Trump's lawyers will not want the public hearing any of the things that the DoJ has on file through their investigative work. They want none of that becoming public and will demand that Chutkan either keeps this out of the public sphere or else move the hearings to some time after the election.
And the more I've seen of judges across the nation . . . the more I'm convinced that none of them have the intestinal fortitude to really stand firm against Trump.
All of them have, to one degree or another, backed down to give Trump the delays he's been asking for, simply to give him a free run at the Presidency in November, without having to explain his criminal past or convince voters why they should be giving their trust to a convicted criminal?

It won't surprise me in the least to hear that a bunch of regions where Trump has been projected to lose won't have results certified, and that the people in charge have decided that they think there are irregularities (that they won't be able to show or prove but are certain they exist).
The Electoral College will be a very closely fought battle this time and there are going to be States where results will either be withheld or just not certified.
The popular vote won't count because Republicans have long known that they don't stand a chance if things come down this. They've instead been focusing on a race that they know they can penetrate and infect with their own special brand of corruption.

Surprise!! No accountability before the election, and nothing remotely suggesting that any accountability will happen at all. I appreciated these yt videos, very informative. But the main lesson is how the entire legal system in the US has failed the people spectacularly. And continues to do so.
Have to agree - all the hype from MSNBC, BTC, Harry Littman, Justice Matters, the whole lot - at the end of the day, not a single damned thing has happened. It has maybe shown how corrupt and ineffectual the US Justice system is. If you are poor you get screwed by the local sheriff and have no recourse, if your are rich you can do what you want.

This case is way overdue and it needs to be activated and expedited. There’s a strong case to argue and should be on trial. Judge Chutkan is just fine to make this case move on because there’s a pure solid evidence on this one other than credible witnesses. Let justice be served in this case other than the mar-a-lago case. Both are very strong cases to be on trial.
