The American judicial system corruption and dysfunction is an embarrassment to this nation.
The American Judicial System was created in the Likeness and Image of Mitch McConnell who stacked the Federal Courts and the SCROTUS.
The judges who voted down roe should be charged with breach of trust for lying. Remove them!
They should also be charged with premeditated homicide if such a charge exists because that is exactly what this is. Never mind they would never pass basic anatomy and physiology.
It's perjury. They lied under oath with penalty of perjury. I would love to see that done. It would be done if the rest of us did something similar.

I’m horrified by what is happening in my home state. As an Idahoan, I want people to know that not all of us are crazy radicals. I would even consider myself to be a conservative in many ways but common sense needs to be taken seriously. What has been done here has resulted in horrendous consequences. I had a student attempt suicide because she couldn’t get an abortion. Life is precious and so called “pro-lifers “ need to remember lives post birth need to be protected and treasured.

Plus they admitted to making a mistake!!! They took the case, removed the stay, the changed their minds. All the time while women are suffering. It makes mi sick.
After an opinion is complete (based on preliminary vote), there is a final tally vote to see if anyone changed their mind. That is NORMAL PROCESS. If the final opinion is made publicly available before that final tally vote, that is an ERROR by someone but does not mean that ERROR affected the final tally vote at all.
They will leak immunity case next 😢 and disappear on vacation.

Idaho's law is like making doctors wait until an appendix actually ruptures and creates a life-threatening situation instead of removing a debilitatingly painful inflamed appendix. Judges and politicians are not healthcare professionals and can do much more harm than good.

A baby is not an organ, in fact, the blood circulatory systems are separate.There are very few operations that cannot be accomplished without taking the life of the baby, including appendicits. Open heart transplant might be one that would fall within the exception in some circumstances.

Is the fetus (through no fault of its own) creating a life-threatening situation for a person who is mature enough to carry them to term, but with debilitation or death for the mother?
Being a mother is not just a physiological act, but also a social act... wouldn't you agree?
I have never in my entire lifetime seen SCOTUS in such a state of complete disarray. They've become a nasty, ugly, clown show. I lay the blame for this entirely on the theocrats of the court. It is stunning just how awfully dysfunctional and ideological it has become.

It's estimated that 20%+ pregnancies have miscarriage. I had two plus an ectopic pregnancy.
Women's child bearing years are fraught with medical issues surrounding birth control and avoiding pregnancy, being pregnant and and the myriad of complications.
We, as women, cannot anticipate our own needs until situations arise. You wake up feeling young and healthy and then can be in critical condition within hours.
We just can't tolerate men, particularly politicians and political appointee judges, who think they can play doctor and pretend to comprehend female physiology. Most of them would fail basic anatomy.

I had 3 miscarriages and nearly miscarried my son. In America I would be guilty of abortion until proven innocent. How can you prove you had a spontaneous miscarriage? I’m so glad I don’t live in America. And I’m glad I’m past child bearing age.

My late stepdad's first wife had two boys with EIGHTEEN miscarriages in-between. That was back in the 40s, 50s, and 60s.....when women had more rights than they do now. Sad, sad, sad.

My female OBGYN just retired, and there are fewer choices in this red state. I refuse to see a male Dr due to horrific past experiences. We are looking to move out of SD.
These states are going to start losing population, as women of childbearing age will leave, along with their husbands and any men who would like to date a woman of childbearing age.

The medical system of Washington State is a release valve for Idaho's cruelty to its own citizens..
think of it----Idaho hates their womenfolk so much they 'd let them die rather than take care of them. Those who can ,come to Washington where, thankfully, we still have a democrat governor. There is a Maga running this Nov, against a new Democrat for governorship, as our current one cannot run for another term. I hope we can keep a democrat in the governor's seat, or we could be at risk of losing abortion rights too.

OR has helped fund Planned Parenthood in Ontario OR. Which is on the boarder. Our Gov, made it her mission to help fund Ontario. And thankfully ID is a small state and it is possible to come to OR pretty darn easily. There are not many OB's left in ID.

They want to make it federal law-- women's healthcare will be outlawed in every state . This is like hitler appeasement -- little by little.
Health care in Maine is also burdened with corporate health care. In recent years many American doctors have relocated to Canada. They make slightly less money, but they don't have to deal with insurance companies, and they are better able to provide for their patients.
"We're not crazy" wouldn't have seemed a very high bar a few years ago.

This is absolutely bizarre to say the least, couple this with all the hypothetical cases with hypothetical injuries that the court has agreed to hear and then subsequently ruled on and cases they should never had agreed to hear in the first place like Trump's immunity case, this court must be the worst of my lifetime by leaps and bounds and probably the worst in generations.
Women should completely refuse to have sex with their partners to not run any risk of getting pregnant. Might change many men´s oppinion on abortion laws.

Why can’t we elect a blue Congress and they pass a law that there be 1 justice per federal district, expanding the Supreme Court to 13? No justice should be over 2 or more districts. Right now Alito is over 2, Kavanaugh is over 2, and Roberts is over 3. Last time the court was expanded to 9 justices, it was to have ONE JUSTICE PER DISTRICT. We don’t need term limits if we add 4 more justices who are not trying to impose a theocratic anti-constitutional regime on our country for decades to come.
This was definitely a complicated mess to unravel so cudos to you Harry for making a good effort to explain. Once again it appears to conservative wing of the court put its foot in its mouth. I think most Americsns are tired of hearing about the ineptness or radical rulings by this extreme court.

Whats so dangerius is the fact that there are so many weird freak stories and survivals... unless it has a 100% mortality rate, how would drs be able to PROVE it would have killed the mom? Just as birth control and condoms aren't 100% effective- not every seriously dangerous and deadly situation has a 100% mortaity rate. At what percentage does each individual dr feel safe risking their livelihood to perform this medical procedure? Just like with opiods these days

The law that passed in Idaho is not well written; it must specify, for example, that it is a registered doctor who will make the decision, collectively with a council made up of all the medical personnel responsible for the patient. This in no way diminishes the intention of the Idaho lawmakers, who want to ensure that the pregnant woman cannot decide on her own to terminate her pregnancy, eliminating the future child.
How is this huge trouble coming?
An amendment that allows voters a recall vote on ANY elected or appointed official would help voters weed these self serving poultry pops out of office

If the woman is suffering an emergency, and the State prevents an abortion, isn’t the State “Taking” the woman’s money, and possible health?
The simple fact that these decisions are being made by black robes and not physician white lab coats speaks volumes. The black robes must certainly be considering the lab coat opinion and expertise in regards to this decision right? My 30yrs in surgery is telling me they are not. The lack of understanding can/will/is leading to unnecessary sepsis, complications and possible death. Yet again we cut off our nose to spite our face.

Why are we having these discussion within the confines of the Federal Government. Common human decency says to render aid. Doctor's take an oath to "do no harm." Any position to the contrary is complete madness.

The Court, in its zeal to stamp out abortion, committed malpractice. If a doctor made a mistake like this, his/her next call should be to the malpractice lawyer.

I'm wondering if the families who lose family members to ectopic and other types of high risk pregnancies that should have been aborted [the fetus dies in utero], would the surviving family members of these women be allowed to file a wrongful death lawsuit or 3rd degree homicide against the Courts and politicians. Scotus is a disgrace.
The problem with Idaho's law, is 1. it doesn't protect doctors from criminal or civil liability, who have to make the decision to abort to save the mother, as doctor decisions are often based on opinion. In a life or death situation for a decision to be based on fact, where there's no question, the mother would be in really grave condition. She'd basically be dying, when it goes from, "She'll probably die" to "She will die." It basically means a lot of women will die because treatment would, by law, have to be withheld until there's no other option, in which case she is less likely to survive, and in the case of a later term fetus, the removal will probably kill the mother. I suspect many doctors will refuse to treat, or a lot of severely complicated pregnancies will be shipped out of state for treatment.
What are Some Types of Judicial Misconduct?
A judicial misconduct case begins when an individual files a complaint regarding the conduct of a judge. Examples of conduct which may constitute judicial misconduct may include when the judge:
Uses their office to obtain special treatment for relatives or friends;
Accepts bribes, gifts, or other personal favors which are related to their office;
Engages in improper ex parte communication with a party or counsel for one side of a case;
Engages in partisan political activity or makes an inappropriately partisan statement;
Solicits funds for organizations;
Violates rules or standards which pertain to restrictions on outside income or knowingly violates a requirement for financial disclosure;
Engages in offensive, abusive, or unwanted sexual conduct, which includes sexual harassment or sexual assault;
Treats attorneys, litigants, judicial employees, or other individuals in a demonstrably hostile and egregious manner;
Creates a hostile work environment for judicial employees;
Intentionally discriminates based on one of more of the following:
Race;
Color;
Sex;
Gender;
Gender entity;
Pregnancy;
Sexual orientation;
Religion;
National origin;
Age; or
Disability;
The Doctors take and follow an oath that has neong around long before the Supreme Court.
