I was sincerely searching for the date code on the Deauville but no luck😳. I checked back on FASHIONPHILE and the date code was listed as faded.

A hack that may help to see the date tag is to lightly dampen the tag. For those who have this bag the date is on the back of the Louis Vuitton made in France tag. Love this review!❤

A $25 replica is going to be obviously fake esp compared next to the original. If you want to do a good comparison video that’s worth it, you’d have to buy the replicas that are $300+. Those are the replicas called “mirror” or 1:1 quality meaning it literally mirrors the original in all the details of craftsmanship. I’ve seen LV replicas up to $700 bc they are using the exact same materials, etc

If you still have you bag, check under the leather tab inside your bag. If it is not legible, chances are, it rubbed off over time. That particular bag is notorious for it’s date code rubbing off.

Maria Mariaaa hello! Thank you for watching. It’s pretty roomy. I’m an over packer so it wouldn’t work for me as a weekend bag. But, if you are a savvy packer it might. I used it recently as a cosmetic/toiletry bag on vacation and it was perfect. -
