    Yay! Another monitor review! Very helpful for us as we are looking into getting one.
    The image looks really good. It is always the super shiny days that make it difficult, don't you think?
    It seems like a very good candidate for what we need. Thanks guys, for sharing the insights of this monitor

    I never really bother with monitors, my camera screen is good enough, but if this ever goes on sale, I like the idea of something smaller and not so bulky.

    Great review guys! Love that even though it’s an entry level, the monitor is crisp and clear. Any electronic device that is not easily overheat is appreciated too. 👍🏻

    I always like smaller and lighter, but just wish camera companies made their screens good to begin with so we wouldn't need to get external monitors. Super review as always though.

      Thanks! Yeah I get what you mean, but I think a lot of it has to do with size, it just wouldn't be feasible to put bigger screens on cameras.

    Hi, could help I plug in my Sony ZV-1 into the portkeys Pt5 ii, but it doesn’t fill the screen I have tried settings on the camera & the monitor. I have black bars top & bottom, and the sides. Even when I tap the screen to take off the monitor menu. I’m I missing something?,🇬🇧
    Even with 1080p I see the camera display setting, such as shutter, focus, etc.

    Good review mate, looks like a solid monitor, a shame about the brightness though, would have made it perfect.

    Just got this monitor yesterday, my issue is that my fx3 screen shuts off when using the pt5. Do you know how to fix this? I see your a7c shows on both. Let me know! Great video btw. Keep up the good work!

    • @RudyVisuals
      @RudyVisuals  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks! I remember having a similar issue if you are shooting at 4k with higher frame rates, the camera can't handle outputting to both screens.

    Hi Rudy. I'm have a USB webcam. Can I connect it to this monitor. Or does this monitor only do what I'm looking for with the HDMI ports only. Or is the USB port on this monitor for something else ?

    I do a lot of outdoor shooting surfing at the beach. Do you think this is a bright enough monitor for being outside in the sun?

    • @RudyVisuals
      @RudyVisuals  2 роки тому +2

      I would personally go for something with a much brighter screen like the desview r6 uhb if you plan to shoot outside in the sun.

    I find it RIDICULOUS that they don't have any BASIC REMOTE control buttons on these external monitors like PRESS RECORD / STOP ➞ WTFFFFFFFF. Seriously, I coudln't believe there is none when I got mine. AHHHHHHGRRR

  • @juliuslinus1161

    It's barely bigger than the actual camera monitor though. 7 inch should be a minimum 😉

    • @RudyVisuals
      @RudyVisuals  2 роки тому

      We prefer bigger too but for some smaller setups, a 5 inch does make more sense.

    A shame it's too dark to use in the sun.

    • @RudyVisuals

      Yup, a little more brightness would have made this perfect!
