With a growing population, the demand for minerals is higher than ever. At LKAB, we have accepted this challenge. Through new, innovative and circular technology, in a fossil-free industrial park in Luleå, we will transform today's mining waste into tomorrow's resources.
We will extract phosphorus for mineral fertiliser, essential for sustainable agriculture, and rare earth metals used in electric cars and electronics, crucial for the green transition. We are broadening our operations, increasing Sweden's and Europe's self-sufficiency, and contributing to a better climate.
