Still wondering why we can't do a rental estate empire game play, we got rental system we have rent lot. Why can't they just let us own more than one residential lot and do those game plays. How difficult can it be to implement last elements, but guess they're saving it for a dumped down gamepack or something too for the future.
Imagine if one us was rich enough to buy the sims from ea, and make it exactly the way us player wants it 😍 might be cheaper to make a whole new game though maybe, lol.

the hatred i have for how they ruined some of the townies... like, the bffs? you start playing, they barely know each other. like, no care put into them at all
that's what pissed me off too bc they seem to put so much thought into their storylines but when you play the game it's nothing, it's just implied. i'm glad they stepped it up tho bc the newer townies actually have relationships that line up with their storylines

Definitely not. I’m the same way. Sometimes I find a person whose verbal mannerisms are just…really nice to listen to, and then I get stuck on them and binge their content hardcore.
If you've never played it, I recommend trying to find a copy somewhere. if the sims 4 and sims 2 were made into a single game, that would've been the greatest sims game ever. sims 2 is a lot bolder than the sims 4 in certain areas and has a web of stories that are weaved together. you have the mystery of Bella's disappearance, who has been abducted by aliens. (and walks around in another neighborhood with no recollection of her past) Don Lothario, who has a relationship with 4 women at the same time, trying not to get caught. Also the fiancee of Alexandra goth. You have the Callientes, who are of alien descendant, gold diggers to the max. The broke family: a single mom with 2 kids, one more in the oven. Whereof the teenage kid has a not approved relationship with one of the pleasant twins. The pleasant family, where the father has an ongoing affair with the maid. And the teenage twins hate each other's guts. The strange family, who have a giant pit in their home with science-y things and where one of the guys has an alien pregnancy upon loading the game. The Spectre family, who has an entire graveyard in front of their house with probably their entire family. Mystery is as to how they lost their lives.... And the mystery surrounding nervous subject, the son of the lady who lives there. I also recall a story of a family where the father was in the military, and wanted his son to be their successor. Reaaally intricate stuff, the sims 2 :)

12:06 I deleted sims 2 to make room for sims 4 a while ago and this music almost made me cry, I miss it so much 😭 I played sims 2 with my best friend all the time as a kid, and every time something new and crazy happened, it was the perfect balance between the adult word and us, the perfect hint of whackiness, tragedy, drama, romance..I think I need to get an external harddrive.

Just found this channel, I'm two episodes in and I'm already subscribed. I'm getting GrayStillPlays vibes mixed with the Sims and I am here for it! This is the type of chaotic energy I need in my life.
I am obsessed with this! I would love to see more classic Sims 2 build remade in Sims 4, this is so great. When you played the Sims 2 music at the end I almost started crying. This hit a part of my brain I didn’t know I was nostalgic for! 😭
Just did my own refresh of Oasis Springs last night - don't know what they were thinking with the 'made over' ones. 😅 I used Dina the way she was, and then I used genetics to create a new Nina and Katrina, so they actually look like each other... I styled them mostly based on their sims 2 versions, but with little details 'honouring' their sims 4 color schemes. And I made Nina a teenager, who is hot-headed and romantic. (she is seeing Malcolm Laandgrab, go figure). I kept Don pretty close to his original (I used the fully original sim, before the EA refresh), and changed mainly his hair and beard to the 'new don', and gave him a tattoo. I am now playing a bit of their storyline, so they will have the relevant drama. 🙃 Nina is seeing Malcolm Laandgrab, Dina have an affair with Mortimer (I used the original Goths too, pre EA refresh) and Don. Don is sleeping with every adult woman in town, except Nancy Laandgrab. As well as Summer Holliday. He is suspiciously good friends with Nina Caliente and Cassandra Goth (I know, but we need some story telling here), but have a slightly negative romantic relationship with Bella Goth. (I might replace the original with a clone at some point, and move real Bella somewhere else, but I have not played the Goth's yet). For the Laandgrabs, in CAS I used genetics from Malcolm to create Tim Shady. You see, he is actually Malcolms real dad (this is where he got his cheese-coloured hair). I then added Tina Shady, his wife (blonde bombshell type with insane curves, and way too skimpy clothes), and used genetics to create a child (Malcolms half brother). Kids name is Kim Shady. I actually added Johnny Zest to the household, and used genetics to create a twin brother. This way, I could actually make it so you could see the story in the family tree for all of them - I even gave them family dynamics. I made the brother slightly more handsome (difficult task, I know!), and named him Donny. You see, Donny is everything the Laandgrabs wanted Johnny to be. He stayed in school, he is popular, and is now on his way to becoming a world famous Guitarist. I will make him a two star celebrity, but he will act like he is a five star. (obviously) He moved into the penthouse in San Myoshino. Have not played him yet, but I will give him the actual skills and relationships. He will probably also be a bit of a player. I also want to give Johnny some kind of love interest/someone he is crushing on, though I am not sure who yet... Tim Shady will have a slightly romantic relationship with Nancy (you know, they did have Malcolm, and maybe she is occasionally meeting up, for old times sake). He is Lazy, a slob, and spends most of his time doing nothing, and cat-calling random women. He lives with Tina and Kim in the cheapest house in the cheapest neighbourhood. I want to make a bit more of a story for them too... And I might get her pregnant (maybe with Tim, or maybe with Don??) I also want to add the Beaker family, I think across the street from the Caliente house. I will put Olive Specter in forgotten Hollow, but I will make sure she is actually in Nervous Subject's family tree. I also want to add the smiths in the other, middle class neighbourhood. And the curious family - though I am not sure where to add them. I need to do more research on them to know where they would fit. I am thinking of adding the Grunt family, but in a different world - maybe Willow Creek, or potentially Brindelton Bay (they could be the types to have a dog as well). Sorry for the long post - if you made it to the end, I hope you got some inspiration. 😂 But this is actually almost more fun than playing my own sim. And makes the world feel much more interesting.
I forgot what the Callientes outfits were in sims two then when your remake walked out at the end I was like omg yessss those are the outfits! Loved the build and the sisters you created! Would love to see more of these videos
Fun fact: In the earliest Superman comics, Superman couldn't actually fly! He could just jump really high. In fact in his origin story, it described it as having the ability to 'hurdle skyscrapers'. There was even a comic where he jumped from a building, almost missed the pole he was meant to grab onto (because he was just jumping) and the criminal he was holding under one arm died of a heart attack before they reached the ground!
Last week i also fixed Dina and Nina Caliente too!!! Now Im my game Dina is my favorite sim, she got married, is expecting twins and will open her own restaurant-bar soon!

the sarah jessica story reminded me of my dentist when she took my braces out and i already felt super conscious about my teeth because my braces were like a blanket for me, AND THEN THAT DEVIL CALLED MY SMILE WITHOUT BRACES LIKE JESSICA 😭 i cried going home
