Thank you for the review! To offer a different perspective - the lack of punch in the shimmers are really appealing to those of us who want more subtle shimmers (helps with mature eyes and more wearable in the real world). I understand the need for punch and bling, but the subtle shimmers are what I look for. Gorgeous and glamorous. It actually made me happy to see that in this pallet, because, as you said, the color story is beautiful!
Oh gosh this palette REALLY appeals to me. 😍😍 The look you created is GORGEOUS! I don’t flippin need it but…. 😆

i agree about the shimmers -loosely packed is a perfect way to explain it. i bought the enchanted palette a while ago because the color story is so dreamy , but they don’t translate at all and the glitters seem to separate from the base leaving you with not much punch
I've been considering getting this one, but I may wait until Black Friday. Last year they had 40% off. Thanks for the review! Also, Sigma's Cinderella palette is awesome! BEAUTIFUL color story!!

@@joannakowalska9247 Honestly, I couldn't say. My eyes can't handle ColourPop so I don't buy from them. The quality of the Cinderella palette is good...maybe a notch below Natasha Denona. You will get a little fallout from the Sigma palette, but not much.
I seen when the collection was released and I fell in love with the color story. If I wasn’t on a low buy No buy I would of gotten it. My favorite palette from sigma is the Cor-De-Rosa palette. I really need to take it out and use it. Thanks for the eye look & the review on this collection. Beautiful look Morgan.

I really love Sigmas mattes and I typically find them very easy to blend, but some of the shimmers definitely do need some glitter glue. If you take the extra step though they're amazing, IMO. I'm on the fence about this color story but I typically love Sigma so much I want them ALL.
I love Sigma eyeshadows in this format. They always blend well for me but I don’t have as much high end experience as you. I love the Enchanted palette and the Cinderella collection as well also Cor di Rosa is a fave. It’s just a to each his own situation. Love the look you created and the lip collection is perfect for the shadow palette. Thanks for the review
Thank god I was hoping you'd review this. I ordered it yesterday and was scared cause I never tried sigma shadows and I'm used to Pat and ND but this color story IS SO PRETTY

I think u will really enjoy Sigma. I have purchased multiple pallets from them as well as the smaller pallets, makeup brushes, blush cleaner w/accessories. The price point is very good for what u get. It’s not a luxury brand, but I have found that the color payoff and the color stories r very nice.
The formula is good and I personally love it.
@@amberp5207 idk i just shopped sigma for the first time recently and i was shocked at their prices. they are much more expensive than i thought they’d be. i think they inflate their prices because they have frequent sales and a lot of discount codes, so you kind of need those codes to see much value from the brand. i have been looking at hakuhodo brushes, which are DEFINITELY luxury, so i can make an order before prices rise, and some of sigma’s eyeshadow brush prices are…pretty similar to theirs lol.
@@mus1quenonst0p I bought my Sigma eyeshadows and brushes during Covid, when a lot of people were out of work and struggling. When that happened, Sigma lowered there prices and had a ton of sales. When u received your order, there was always a $10.00 off coupon in it, to purchase more products. Unfortunately, as u know, the prices on everything just keeps going higher & higher. I would recommend that if u see a brand or product that u really like, especially luxury brands, I would jump on it quick. I bought Sigma when I was first getting into makeup and learning about it. Somehow, I fell into purchasing luxury makeup. Once u get into luxury makeup and luxury brushes, u just can’t go back. I wish u the best of luck on making yourself an amazing makeup collection.☺️💄❤️😊

I’m so glad I watched. You said exactly what I was thinking about the Sigma matte formula and the “glimmers”. I had the same experience with Ambiance and a couple others and wondered if I was just the only one or if my palettes were just different. Now I have to decide if this color story is worth it or not…it’s just so beautiful and I love the look you created with it!😍 It does remind me a little of the ND Retro which I have…I can’t decide! 😣

I like the Sigma Ambiance palette. That one looks like the Sigma Ambiance formula. I think I would like that particular palette. I have this color story, but it is a beautiful palette. I have ND Retro and Viseart Cashmerie. If you don’t have this color story, this is a good addition to one’s collection.
I hv 2 viseart palettes. Purple and lilas. Is sigma any close to viseart quality?
@@joannakowalska9247 not in my opinion, but I still think the Ambiance is one of their better palettes. I don’t like a lot of their other ones. It isn’t a popular opinion. I find Sigma’s mattes a bit difficult to blend in the darker shades. I get fall out from some of their shimmer shades, which is annoying. That isn’t the case with the Ambiance palette.

I love the colour scheme of this palette; it is stunning! You created such a pretty look! How do you think the colour story compares to the Natasha Denona Retro Palette and the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette? I can see some similarities but I'm not sure if that translates with the palettes in person.

Obviously, I won't be getting this or, in fact, anything from this collection. I already own Sigma brushes but I couldn't tell you the last time I used one.
So, I'm sitting this one out.
On the happier side of things and absolutely nothing to do with Sigma - I was able to get the elusive Dior quint (479 Bayadère) earlier on and it looks gorgeous 😍

I own a lot of their brushes and I've had some 5 years I think and still perfect they keep their shape perfectly.. I own 2 of their bigger palettes I haven't pulled them out in so long but I like them but I have way to many eye shadow palettes and always am buying more definitely need to use what I have before I have to toss them 😩 I like this collection but idk if I'll pick the palette up right now anyway

Thank u for your honest review. Would u say that it is better to get huda quartz palette? Color story is very similar. I so far only used revolution, sleek and recently visear entondu and lilas. I do hv nabla alchemy shadow with this purple base light blue sparkles. If I dive into my colours I would be able to recreate sigma colour story. Sigma is trying really good to get my attention. Is it worth for the money - 35£ ?

I agree with you about Sigma eyeshadow formula. I love their eyeshadow palettes color stories, but I'm never impressed by their formula. In other news, how about I just reopened my new Tom Ford Rose Topaz quad and one of the shadows popped out. I put it back and the shadow split in half! 😱 I contacted Beautylish ASAP! I’m disappointed because I like this quad too. ☹️
Some people believe that the Sigma brushes work best when washed prior to first use. Eye look is gorgeous. Their liquid lipsticks last very well.

I do not have the untamed palette!
I don’t care for the Sigma Untamed palette. I think the colors can get muddy. However, many people like it. I am rather picky, in terms of eyeshadow formulas.

@@mlenay83 My favorite purple palette is the Viseart Violette. I have a blue shade in my Glamlite Chocolate Martini palette. The Sigma Cinderella palette has some fun colors, too.
I had Cor de Rosa and didn’t like the formula so probably won’t buy any other palette from them. The Ambiance one is up my alley with the color story but I have ND Gold which I can bet is much better formula wise.

Update: I bought it and totally have palette purchase regret. Stick with ColourPop Smoke N Roses if you like this color story.
Just got this palette in the mail. Love the colour story, hate the velvet packaging. I dont mind the ABH velvet packaging but for some reason this new mod velvet is just ew. Im conflicted.
