Tati recently released a video that this pallet circulating is a stolen pallet never approved for final distribution. The pallets were marked to be destroyed as they were in testing phase and not ready to make it to market when the pandemic hit then her company shut down. The pallets were, as I recall her saying, on a trailer to be destroyed when they were stolen. She does not know who is in possession of the pallets, how they have been stored/cared for since her company shut down or why they were not destroyed.
Such a horrible thing to do at such a bad time in her life! I hope karma kicks the thieves in the butt!
It's a well known story, tati told it herself... 💭 🤔 So why the long comment?
@@cookieinnadress9709 I wouldn’t say it is a “well-known story.” Tati released the video 4 days ago. It had 600K views while she has millions of subscribers. That should tell you that more people don’t know about it, then do.

I have the original tati palette and I love the mattes, the glitters and the color story. It’s a staple palette for me. I would have bought all of the palettes she launched even if I have the colors. Would have loved to see if she improved the metallics.

Shame on them and the balls they have to do it and think it won’t be seen!! I hope she comes back with another amazing company and kicks ass on it!!
It's sad that the unscrupulous actions of others even caused Tati to have to make the video yesterday but I'm glad she warned the public that these palettes don't have her stamp of approval. Thank you for showing us dupes so we can get a similar look... especially reminding me of the PML palette. Lol I forgot about that one.

To be honest, I don't think this lost concept from Tati is really interesting. Especially considering the many fascinating palettes that came out in the last few years. I mean all those light greens would have been very hard to use...but the original palette was really beautiful, so I hope she comes out with something in the future.

I'm sad her brand closed because I was excited to see what she was going to do with it. She seemed to have a practical approach and I love the way she organized her palette(s). Hopefully she can make it happen again, so maybe someday we can see her true vision.
I would love to have her do this. I love it. I love and frequently use her original, and my daughter and I had said we hoped she did the same concept with colors. Those colors, I love. I also would love a cool neutral version.
I just used her Palette today on my eyes. I love the formula and her really.
I'm sorry this happened to Tati... but I'm confused.... How can you have a truck load of palettes available (to be stolen) when the prototypes were never approved for production. Why would you go into production with a palette whose final formula could change? There was obviously production. It doesn't make sense. If the final palette, colors, and formula hadn't been approved, there shouldn't have been palettes that had to be destroyed.
I love Tati. I own Volume 1. I wish her success with a future brand, and would support it. But there's more to this.. something else is going on. Perhaps it might be one of the things she couldn't talk about without being 'bleeped'.

how many were "sold" was it a lot? I can't find any listings for it or anything. which leads me to believe there were only a few of them that they stole and sold but I. barely finding out about it so there very well could have been a lot
I love the pics but the one she showed looked much duller But of course it wasn’t going to be the end one put out. I still own the original and every time I use it I’m still impressed. I own 40 palettes so that says a lot amongst ND, PM, Tom Ford etc

Tengo la paleta original (Vol. 1) Incluso tengo una extra nueva sin usar porque la primera que compre, una sombra venia rota y ellos me enviaron otra nuevecita sin costo extra. Volviendo a la paleta, me ENCANTA, he recibido muchos cumplidos cuando la uso y siempre vuelvo a ella por la calidad y lo fácil que es trabajar con ella. Buena pigmentación y se difumina muy bien, los glitter son hermosos. Yo pienso que realmente vale mucho la pena, y en cuanto a la nueva paleta no aprobada y robada, es bonita pero no es la terminada ni aprobada por Tati así que me es increíble que la estén comprando y vendiendo.

Esa paleta no está a la venta por Tati Beauty. En un video ella anunció que un camión donde esas paletas eran transportadas fue robado, se llevaron todas las paletas (las cuales no habian sido aprobadas por ella y no eran el producto final a sacar al mercado) y luego fueron vendidas en ebay y otras paginas. Ella pide en ese video que no compren esas paletas porque no son lanzadas por su marca. De hecho dijo que esas paletas iban destinadas a destruirse porque no estaban aprobadas por ella y que se seguiría diseñando la paleta.

I went to the website many times and was going to purchase her palette and blendiful but never did. Then it was gone without any notice. I think everyone would love to see Tati make a comeback with a brand and see what she would have to offer.

I'd prefer the colourpop palette any day. I do like the greens in the tati one but morphe boss mood has me covered in that area.

The one thing I haven’t heard anyone discuss about the palette is that why would they have pressed a huge batch of them if it wasn’t the final formula/final color selections? To my mind, that indicates it was all ready to go to market, perhaps just needing a final quality check, but these wouldn’t have been manufactured in this number if the quality wasn’t already approved.
I’m not interested in buying stolen products, and I realize these are probably a couple years old and might not have been stored appropriately, but I don’t believe that these weren’t manufactured with the intent to go to market. It feels disingenuous for Tati to imply this wasn’t a finished product.

I really love her Ideas of making a book with her palette . Soo sad it didn’t play out but she explains great ideas for her future palettes . Wish her the best and hope she does t let her dreams die . There’s always road blocks just have to work through them and never stop moving forward .

I think it's really pretty, it just looks very dark. It also reminds me of the Boss Mood Morphe palette, it has a similar color story.

As a person who missed out on Tati’s eyeshadows, I don’t know the formula but colors for vol 2 were beautiful, I found this to be something helpful not hurtful.
She’s mainly asking people to try other brands over stolen product so view it how you want but I can’t see this video as a bad thing.

I had the Boss mood palette from Morphe and it was pretty good
The only one I can think of is the Sydney Grace Tiny Marvels because of the mattes. You have a purple, green, peach, and dusty pink. Tiny Marvels is one of my all time favorites so I probably would have adored this had it made market.i hope she can develop more in the future. She has a great eye for color combos!

I'd have bought it if it came out. It gives me OG Norvina palette vibes, minus the green.
One option that is good is build your own palette from colourpop they have several textures and colors even before I saw the Tati palette I had built my own palette that resembles the Tati palette

I don't follow Tati at all anymore, so I don't think I would have picked this palette up. That being said, it's a beautiful palette. It's a shame it didn't work out for her. The colors are nice.

Yall I'm telling you vol 2 is amazing! Before Tati announced them to be stolen, my friend bought one online thinking it was vol 1 but then recieved vol 2. My nosey ass had to go see it & the sequins formula is super sparkly yet matte & unique colored glitters. Is really something special. The glitter formula on the top row is not like the 1st palette quality wise but still ok. I wish she released it though!

Eh I’m not interested in the color story. I’m not a big fan of larger palettes and it looks cheap. To me, her palettes remind me of a mix of colourpop and morphe, but more expensive. I don’t remember what the makeup trends were back in 2020 when this would’ve released, but I’m positive I wouldn’t have picked it up.

@@dariavision I think it was probably 90% done but in business you usually need quite a number of prototypes for focus groups and for other miscellaneous stuff before you make the final decision

How many units and promo photos does someone do with palettes that aren't approved? I found that odd, as a Photographer and someone who follows beauty. Just strange to me. Why order all these units of a palette that isn't "approved"?

Personally ...the color story is interesting ... so much so that when I have seen something similar launch over the past couple years...I bought it! 😳 unfortunately this may have been "different" when it was conceived but since then several other brands have already done it ... if it helps I believe it means her eye is spot on lol 😆

I am so sad and disgusted with the people that stole this palette. How the hell are people buying an illegal palette that says Tati Beauty right on it. They have to know it wasn’t released by Tati herself. All parties involved are the bottom feeders of the makeup community.

I think it's horrible that people are profiting off of cheating and stealing someone else's unfinished work. If that palette had been launched, I would have bought it. At the time the first palette came out, I thought it was amazing. I've since expanded my experience with different palettes and companies, and I've realized that while it's a good, solid palette, there are much better formulas out there. However, I've always liked Tati, and I will continue to support her if she reopens her business.
