Is the fuel filter built in the fuel pump?
From what I know it is.
Yea
I notice you didn't mention the '06 Pontiac Grand Prix "GXP" in your list (5.3L V8). Will it be fairly similar to the 3.8L V6? Thanks!
nice video thanks
I have a 2005 Monte Carlo LS. I watched a video on UA-cam about accessing the pump from a hatch cover in the trunk. Mine has no cutout for the hatch, only impressions where it should be.
Damn!
I have the 2006 Grand Prix GXP and I noticed the same thing. I think they stopped with the access ports in the '04 models. Definitely don't want to cut a hole like a lot of videos are showing.
I know this is way later but did you have to drop the tank?
What size socket for the straps?
how do get the fuel pump out the tank. bottom is bigger than the hole on the tank
That’s where I’m at right now … how did u end up getting it out ?
@@ahmadsalim8752There are clips that hold on the white plastic sump, unclip it, separate it from the pump, remove pump, flip the white sump upside down and pull it out.
I desperately need help so the third line all the way to the right on the fuel pump doesn’t have a hose connected to it upon final instillation
how long does it take these job to do?... how much the labor if somebody will do these labor?
